Where do I even start! I know this is a very small town, but come on. This was the worst hotel experience ever. If you are used to a certain level of hospitality during a hotel stay, this is not the place for you. Upon check-in, we get to the room, and there are stains on the linen on the bed. We were told that no housekeeping were on staff so we would have to change the linen ourselves. The elevators stopped working so we had to use the stairs. The “manager” as he insisted, who was working at the front desk was extremely rude. I walked downstairs to the front desk to ask for a set of towels as housekeeping still had not come in the next morning. The manager responded to my request by saying that towels were in there yesterday and since I’m checking out today, I shouldn’t need anymore. Horrible experience!

Got my room, hairs in the dirty sheets. Hairs on bathroom counters. Poop marks in the toilet. But the front counter quickly got me another room!

Front desk person was asleep at the counter upon check in. When we finally got to our room the bathroom still had trash in it from the previous guest. Breakfast was supposed to be at 0700, when we got down there nothing was out. At 0715 I asked the front desk person what time it started and she said she thought it should be out by now but she was new and had no clue. The other man sitting at the desk never acknowledged me or answered my question. He finally got up and started putting very minimal items out for the breakfast. No coffee creamer, no utensils and not enough breakfast for the 15 or so people who were waiting to be fed.. unacceptable service considering I paid $576 for 2 rooms/ 2 nights.

Had some complications with room type during check in as I arrived very late on the check in date and the desired room driven by family size wasn't available . Front desk staff was extremely courteous and diligent trying to find a solution. Ultimately we did after a lot of effort. Spoke to the manager the next day (Steven Ward) and he couldn't have been any better addressing the situation. The hotel was clean and the staff were all courteous. It is a well run business. I acknowledge that from time to time complications will arise but this group went out of their way to service the customer in this case. Nice job and thank you for everything you did to make our stay an enjoyable one.

My wife and I are riding our bikes cross country. We rolled into New Roads to stay night at hotel. We have had good luck with BW on this tour and tonight is no change. Rooms are great and Sandra was super pleasant checking us in 😁👍

Not my first time at this location, been here at least twice in the past.. Room was spacious with a desk and chair, lounger, 2 queen beds, flat screen TV, and a fridge. The TV doesn't have a guide channel you have to look at the guide provided on the desk. The fridge is very compact, not ideal for extended stay but great for a weekender. Ample counter space in the bath and additional counter space by coffee maker. Full closet and room for a folding table for appliances. Hvac works well. Housekeeping however didn't want to swap sheets when asked, I was told she wasn't assigned to my room, yet management said she was and brought the sheets themselves. Front desk and all other staff are extremely helpful and nice though.. And my last night there, I saw this strange bug on the ceiling. Killed it with a shoe but didn't know what it was. 1st time ever seeing any though.

I frequent this location to visit family & friends. The rooms are always neat & clean. The staff is friendly. Acknowledging reward members more would add to future reviews. The location is great being its close to good eateries, shopping areas & leisure activities by False River. Hott Tails, Southern Chick's & Juneau's are less than 5min away, great eateries if you love spice & flavor.

Best Western False River is an amazing location in a fairly rural area. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom toilet is extremely too low, other than that the sleeping area is truly lovely and adequate.

Great place. The paint was chipping along some edges and the elevator tile floor is broken. Other than that, great place and I loved the lobby and the service!

Horrible experience!! My room was filthy there were cups that were left in the refrigerator so apparently my room wasn't cleaned properly. The toilet had urine stains on the toilet seat & also there was some type of roach on the wall . Trash was left in the breakfast area over night. This place I wouldn't recommend period !!
