There
was
a
rather
large
group
of
us
that
booked
a
block
of
rooms
for
a
family
memorial
that
we
had
held
in
the
conference
room
at
this
hotel.
For
a
hotel
that
touts
itself
as
somewhat
of
the
better
ones
(and
they
do
charge
more),
you
would
think
that
their
attention
to
detail
in
their
rooms
would
be
better
considering
what
they
DO
charge,
which
is
for
EVERYTHING.
At
breakfast
the
first
morning
we
were
asked
if
we
did
breakfast
vouchers
with
our
rooms
(we
had
a
total
of
approximately
10
rooms
booked)
and
when
we
said
we
weren't
sure,
but
if
not
we
would
like
to
add
them
(the
breakfast
buffet
is
$20
p/p)
they
checked,
came
back
and
then
said
we
CANNOT
add
it
because
we
paid
for
the
rooms
separately.
We
had
to
wiggle
the
plug
in
the
outlet
to
get
the
coffeemaker
to
work,
the
top
outlet
by
the
lamp
in
the
living
area
didn't
work
at
all,
the
corners
of
the
rooms
looked
like
they
hadn't
seen
a
vacuum
in
months,
some
of
the
areas
that
were
painted
looked
like
it
was
done
by
a
5
year
old,
the
clothes
hanger
in
the
bathroom
was
broken,
and
the
fire
sprinkler
over
the
door
was
unfinished.
The
thermostat,
I
believe,
is
for
looks
only.
When
we
went
in
on
the
first
day
it
was
set
on
75°.
I
left
it
there
until
bedtime
then
dropped
it
to
72°.
No
change
in
temperature.
The
next
night
I
dropped
it
to
69°.
Nothing.
The
hotel
was
booked
solid
so
another
room
was
impossible.
Then
add
that
when
we
were
bringing
our
luggage
to
the
car
before
checking
out,
there
was
a
card
on
it
saying
our
vehicle
wasn't
registered.
When
we
checked
out,
we
were
told
that
the
parking
lot
is
owned
by
a
private
company
and
we
were
charged
$15
per
day!
This
place
cost
us
hundreds
of
dollars
for
a
subpar
stay.
We
could
have
spent
a
quarter
of
that
at
a
Motel
8
and
had
a
better
experience.
