Place is well-ventilated that makes you more comfortable for enjoying your meal. The dishes are delicious and well-done. Price is affordable yet delicious. Must try.!!!

Simple pleasure! Those were the words that came to mind as I enjoyed the stinky tofu and lightly boiled chicken, two staples offered by many ShenKeng eateries, served by this place. I had been to ShenKeng twice before that visit in January 2021. Both times I sampled these staples from other local eateries but nothing was worth writing about until this experience. Aside from being of the right kind, which is free range, the chicken was cooked perfectly with the flesh being moist and tender. It was delicious in a way that did not require an assist from any dipping sauce. In fact, I believe it is best to eat the chicken as is in order to savor its wonderful flavor. I ordered the stinky tofu two ways, fried and steamed. Both came out deserving high praise. The tofu was fragrant rather than stinky. The fried version was crisp without being oily whereas the steamed ones accentuated the innate flavor. I am not hesitant to say it was the best sticky tofu that I had eaten so far. Even the noodle was delightful even though only tea oil and salt were used as seasoning. I would consider this place a must visit if one is in the mood for the ShenKeng staples.

Very nice asparagus they made either fresh salad or steam . Their pork oil rice is superb . The 槟榔花 is very special and nice too . Boss is friendly .

The taste of tofu is different from that of other stores. People who like tofu must try it. People who don’t like it are worth trying.

Come with a group of friends and all the food are up to standard! Tainan is famous for sweet tofu and it’s a must to have some here!
