Unbeatable views of jiufen while dining with a window seat. Definitely get the leicha, it has so many different grains and layers of flavour! The price is a little steep for Taiwan (390 TWD, but it comes with a pot of tea that's refillable). The glass could be clearer for the views but otherwise perfect.

I think this is by far one of the best cafe in Jiufen. It’s comfortable, polite and friendly staff, good food, great drinks. Although menu is limited, but they focused on quality than quantity. Which is rare in this area. The cafe is small in size, with toilet, and the views here are amazing. My husband and I were tired of walking and decided to stop here to rest and have a meal. No regret. Oh, the cafe latte here is so good. A pleasant surprise. So smooth, and perfect. The waffles were amazing. Ice cream underneath, and mochi in the waffles itself. I don’t usually order desserts but glad I did order it. It was not too sweet, and love the tea infused cream mousse on top. When visit this old gold mining town, why not eat the gold waffles too 😆 delicious~ Will be back again, for sure!

We were looking for a more traditional looking tea place but decided to try this as it was raining heavily. The prices are ok and the staff/owner was nice (they have a clean and spacious toilet). You have to order minimum one drink each. Unfortunately the rain obstructed our view but it is a great place.

We came here for the view that the cafe offers. It is stunning. Even though the food is just passible nothing to scream about, the view from the huge window pane made it up. Quiche was normal, crust was Okay and filling is a tad missing flavour but not tasteless to the point where is it blend. There is some sort of cheese topping but wasn’t enough to taste it. Waffle was on the crisp side so it can be dry somehow. Coffee and tea is of normal standard. Service was also of agreeable standard, perhaps the staff being the only one there when we arrived was busy with some kitchen work.

Very good service from the friendly staffs who will recommend and introduce their local specialties to us. Food is excellent, their tie guan yin latte and lei cha are good too. Very new to me. Price at the high side, but overall experience is great.

This tea house is a must visit. We were so lucky to stumble upon it during our trip. The views are spectacular, the waffle is amazing, and the service and hospitality can’t be beat. The owner is so knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Highlight of our trip. I can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful meal and views. I was fortunate to get a seat on 3rd floor , too bad it was raining and cloudy. Peaceful until two slightly loud customers came later. Staff very friendly. Salmon meal set was very filling and tasty. Lotus root in citron, seaweed side, egg with mushroom side dishes very flavorful. As part of meal, one can get 160 yuan credit towards a drink and I chose the peach tea. Unlimited hot water to brew tea a couple more times. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the tea and views. Clean restroom. Credit cards accepted.
