(Translated by Google) Taking partial generalizations and taking out of context, distorted the truth of the entire history. In the 38th year of the Republic of China, the Nationalist government retreated to Taiwan, and the CCP was ready to attack Taiwan at any time. The country was precarious. This was the most tense moment of the country. The Nationalist government began martial law on May 20, 1981 and ended martial law in 1976. In the first few years when martial law was imposed, especially some cases in the year of 1989 and 39 in the Republic of China, people would mistakenly believe that the entire Taiwanese people and the entire period of martial law were like this. If it is really such a horror, how many more Can the individual survive? For those of us who were born in the first half of the fourth grade, since we were young, we have never felt that there is martial law in Taiwan, and we have never heard of any relatives, friends, classmates, fellow villagers and elders from hometown who are persecuted by the White Terror. Up? Was there really no espionage during this period? Do you want to go to the mainland to see the names and information of Communist martyrs on their monuments? As early as many years ago, our government had already issued compensation to the descendants of these victims during the martial law period. In fact, they have been rehabilitated. Now the transfer promotion and all the rehabilitated with great fanfare, have they rehabilitated the original liberation of Taiwan? These Communist martyrs are separated, or are they all rehabilitated? Taiwan’s current democracy and freedom were bought by the Kuomintang’s martyrs and soldiers in the past. If they hadn’t defended their land against the CCP, would Taiwan still have so-called democracy and freedom? (But now it seems that Taiwan’s so-called democracy and freedom are not better.) What did the so-called human rights fighters do? Which one was sacrificed to fight the CCP? When Ma Ying-jeou was in power, was the peaceful exchanges between the two sides of the strait called licking together? The cross-strait situation is now tense and there is the risk of war at any time. Is this what the people of Taiwan want? Didn’t Tsai Ing-wen say that the ECFA signed between Ma Ying-jeou and the mainland is poison? Tsai Ing-wen has been in power for 5 years, why is Taiwan still taking poison?

(Translated by Google) A complete display of things that I did not personally experience when I was born in 1991. The content is more complete and detailed than the history textbooks. I can't finish shopping for almost an entire afternoon~ It is a good place worth visiting again and again. The only fly in the ointment is that there are a lot of mosquitoes, remember to bring mosquito repellent, & the route is a little messy, so you have to explore by yourself. During the epidemic period, there are only audio guides. I heard that the tour guide is very exciting! I hope that the epidemic will subside soon, and the guide can take everyone on a walk in person!

(Translated by Google) At Jingmei’s Human Rights Museum, there are no people on weekdays, so you can walk slowly, and it’s free to visit. There is no air-conditioning in some places in the museum, but luckily there is always air-conditioning in the middle to filter it. Looking at these histories and thinking about everything that happened in Hong Kong from 2019 to 2020, it is always sad... These precious histories should be recorded so that the people can be wary and the country can learn. (Translated by Google) 2022/07/26 This time, the National Human Rights Museum has participated in the activity where Muse big players can collect stamps. It cannot be entered from the gate of Fuxing Road, but must be entered from the side gate of Minsheng Road. At present, during the renovation of the park, there are many constructions in the park, and there are many places that are not open and not very safe. I hope that in addition to the guided tour, we can also think of some activities to make the public interested in learning about this history. This museum opened my eyes to the ugly underbelly of KMT's authoritarian regime. The exhibits had a fairly good descriptions explaining the history, although it was curious that they mostly talked about the KMT as the culprit, with little mention of Chiang Kai-shek who ultimately had absolute power and responsibility. I wonder how much of that is the result of politics given this sympathizers still exist. The greatest memory of the visit was talking to the curators/staff who generously answered my questions with articulate, intelligent, and fascinating discussion and personal insights that made the bloody history all the more real.

(Translated by Google) The National Museum of Human Rights; this commemoration of what happened in that authoritarian era, the pain of the victims and their families but the unannounced facts, are perfectly presented here. The museum is very close to home. After the remodeling and opening, I have always wanted to come but never made a trip. Today I finally fulfilled my wish. The museum has not disappointed in terms of hardware or software. The following is a brief description of the experience in each district. 1. Opening hours-Like most national museums, Monday is generally selected as the closed day, and admission is free. 2. Guide method-1. Audio guide-handheld multilingual guide (9 languages), 2. Scheduled tour by personnel-two sessions a day at 10:30, 14:30, 3. White horror VR guide View-two games a day at 11:00 and 15:00. (Full free experience-announced on site) 3. Movement lines in the exhibition area-There are many exhibits and booths scattered throughout the park, which poses a certain challenge to first-time visitors. Fortunately, the exhibition map and the signage that can be seen everywhere in the park help a lot. 4. Features of the exhibition hall-As the park retains a lot of original buildings, only the interior parts have been partially adjusted; therefore, walking in the exhibition area seems to be able to feel the scene of the turmoil of the year. 5. Features of the exhibits-1. Physical exhibits-the prison cell, torture instrument, interrogation room, laundry room, etc. used in the past are largely restored to the scene at the time, supplemented with detailed text, the victims and the families of the victims Interviews allow viewers to get closer to the atmosphere of the year. 2. Acoustic experience-through interactive and immersive methods to simulate the victims' unfair treatment, torture and other processes in the past, and indirectly tell the story of that era. 6. The presentation of the facts-the exhibition was held here to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Formosa Incident. Through past magazines, newspapers, interviews with the parties, etc., the museum restores the people who have lived in Taiwan for decades The process of pursuing democracy and the experience of being suppressed by the authoritarian government. 7. Human Rights Monument-This is a memorial and weeping monument. The designer carefully records the various experiences of the victims of improper detention, death penalty, and death by improper detention, death penalty, and death through different methods (detailed observation on the spot is recommended). 8. "Freedom of Speech Day" Special Exhibition-This special exhibition allows school-age visitors to experience the day when there was no freedom of speech in an interactive way in a way that is easier to absorb information and interaction. It is a very careful curation. There are so many amazing places in this pavilion. Reserve some for those who haven't visited it yet!
