A temporary bus stand serving since inception of Newtown.. Park was beautiful before start of Metro Station construction.. however I believe this place will revive once metro construction is completed.. will be a very busy junction though!!

So the sound of the traffic can disturb you... But other wise it is good place... And main important thing is that the transport... You can easily have buses to go other part of kolkata...

Very clean and clear place. Well managed by the concerned. People in large number come here in the evening for sitting and gossiping. It is a nice space to chill or breathe in fresh air. New Town Bus stand also has a bus depot. Many food options are available here. Pavement for pedestrians is appreciable.
