The worst hospital I have ever experienced regarding their services. They have made a bill of Rs 64,000 for 2 days due to food poisoning which covers CT scan and unlimited tests which are not necessary.They will even not discuss with you or your family members before the tests.The nurses are not well behaved and they talk rudely to common people,. Even the room which I was admitted have cockroaches. Mediclaim team of this hospital has a very rude behaviour and they are waiting to extract even your underpants if it is left after emptying your bank accounts. I would recommend never to go this worst hospital👎👎👎👎

Hospital is very good. Specially nursing part. Each and every nurses are very polite and caring. Patient feel comfortable with nurces who are taking care of them. Not only nurse, house keeping staffs, word boy, security, front end representative all are very kind and helpful. I met there Mr. Sanjay Das (taking care of insurance), Mr. Sudip (OT boy), and Mr. Shyamal Halder (taking care of Ambulance and other administrative work) all are really very much helpful and supportive... Ambiance is also good. Only one part might be taken care is temperature 🌡... not comfortable... I visited in the month of May, there was tremendous hot.. but ac was working in selected areas. And that is also not enough to cover up the climate... Over all nice experience...

Most corrupted hospital of Kolkata, Just for minor Fracture in my cousin rigt leg The Dr A N Mukherjee suggest operations. We found something fishy but by that we got trapped and for one day hospitalization they charged us RS 37000 which we paid without getting any proper treatment. We shifted to APollo and Sr Dr Ranjan Kamali suggested its just a minor fracture and 3 weeks plaster with some rest is sufficient. Nothing to get panic and no operations required. Shame on Ohio hospital and DR for cheatings and looting common people money.

This hospital is very clean and tidy. And the work of all the staff and nursing mam is very good. All systems and procedures are very good. The outside ground & parking area is very clean & usable. Overall excellent👍🏻👍🏻

Worst Hospital for Emergency Patients. if you’re going at midnight for any emergency, the doctor and staff here are too careless to bother you. The night doctor was least interested in treatment and was inside his room and kept avoiding. Doctor and staff keep insisting of getting admitted and started treatment only when agreed for admission.

Well maintained staff and process. I loved it during my stay. Most important thing is they always ready to resolve any issues raise by patients or family member. Initially I gave 5* but later I realized you don't deserve even 1 star. Nurses are extremely well but management is just a group of useless people. They don't value your time. They took almost 4 hrs to confirm if the doctor will be available on OPD or not and they will not tell you the information, you have to call them again and again. I chose it bcz it was near to my home. They should removed from corporate cashless facility.

Test etc done in short time, but Reports to be given at right time. Standing at reception since 5:40pm , till time, and waiting for a echo test Report, which was done in morning PS still waiting, 15th Nov 22,Tuesday6:52pm now😭🤐

December 2020 I had to take my father on this hospital for emergency. Due to COVID no reputed hospitals had any vacancy and i did not know the insurance desk cantact number of any reputable hospitals so my father ended up here, a set for film shooting with imposters posing as doctors. Other than front desk staff, the entire staff should be jailed. They took no care of my slurring father. No treatment rendered in fifteen days. One Anindita of administration bantered "the old haggard is fine with whar he's getting here, but his sin and daughter are complaining endlessly." Over following three months my father was treated and detected with severe neurological issues. The imposters had no clue about it. Today my husband was forced to take medical tests here because of awful choices offerred by mediassisst. They did not send him the reports right away in the evening like all other labs providing results wiyhin 8:00 pm on the sane day of tests. But they called and tried to scare with looming heart disease and booking an appointment with their inhouse actor playing the role of a cardiologist. Now it seems unless we see their doctor they wouldn't give our reports. They did the same two years ago with my father's duscharge summary. Whenever their sham gets to be exposed, they pull strings hard by denying lab test reports and discharge Summary and violates laws. Hence, they must be in jail. This facility should permanently be locked.

The services that I received from Ohio Hospital was excellent. I would like to share my feedback for services of the hospital was very good.The behaviour of Floor Coordinators were very polite, humble and soft spoken. The Operations Person Mr. Shyamal was very helpful.I'm very thankful for their quick service process. I'm overwhelmed by the excellent behavior and treatment of Dr Soham Bhattacharya(Gen. Surgeon). Nursing Care and their behavior was so good and polite. Really satisfied! Thank you so much.

Worst hospital in the name of treatment, Very much disappointed with treatment approach. The coordinator & staffs are not clear about their job responsibilities, while you ask for any treatment related queries they wl say that, not aware & for any testing related appointment for the admitted patient they keep on delaying the testing & keep rescheduling to next day saying related doctors are not available as a result patient has to incure additional cost for next day. The nurses are inexperience causing the simple blood collection of patient causing blood clot & excessive bleeding Very poor in hospital services only show casing building neat cleaning

This hospital is the best not just with its facility but with amazing doctors, Dr Jayati Rakshit being the power bearer. Have never seen someone so efficient with her diagnosis and she has cured three members of my family, when we had lost all hopes. Ohio definitely provides you with trust and bonds doctors with the patients. Our life changer in many ways!

My mother and my wife were lucky enough to get beds under the crucial times and all thanks to the management and staff members of the hospital... I really appreciate that all the staffs here (be in any department) are very polite and caring.. Thanks to Ohio and team for serving with full convection and commitment during this pandemic..

It's is not a multi speciality hospital. They only have x-ray machine and all other machine is not operable. For every test they will transfer to other hospital via ambulance. And keep charging higher rates. The hospital staff do not know how to insert line on hand. They have clotted multiple areas of my father hand. How can you expect the hospital to treat. Chittranjan and NRS is lot better that this hospital. You can atleast find doctor to consult. They have big board name list. But never have seen any other doctor. Except only 2. Please please think a lot before admitting here.

I would like to give an advice / suggestion / feed back to the owner of the Hospital, please think / analyse 1) When all the major / big hospitals of Kolkata are suffering from scarcity of BEDS, then how come your hospital is just empty , I enquire at reception, the occupancy was 8 %? I spent avg 3 hrs in your hospital lobby for 4 days and found it to be, like a closed unit. Empty, no patients ( minimum 3/4 in OPD). THINK WHY? 2) Found that the Employee turnover ratio is Much higher, Most of your staffs ( position holders ) dont stays for long time, they resign, THINK WHY? 3) Even the Turnover Ratio of the Doctors are also very High? THINK WHY? 4) Its not a new hospital , its Old now, but still why its not in the Choice of the people of Kolkata,THINK WHY? Sorry if I have offended you, but self criticism and analyse will help to grow , develop and improve.

Worst experience i had with any hospital. Delay with reports, carelessness by the reception, no priority given to the patient. Tests are done only after paying the complete amount and showing the bill, still when I asked for report's softcopy due to an emergency, they asked me for the bill which I didn't had with me at that time( i cannot carry it everywhere I go), they won't do any tests without seeing the bill and still want the bill for giving reports. This is not what usually happens in any hospital. Very much disappointed with the service. Never going back there. Instead of solving my problem the receptionist was arguing with me. Pathetic.

Excellent hospital. Every process is really really smooth here.Clean, hygienic environment.Doctors treat patients like their family member. They talk so politely that it feels like they are like family members. All staff are very cooperative and helpful. If you are looking for good hospital with good doctor, we could suggeste you to proceed your treatment in Ohio hospital.Just take appointment before visit.

All facilities are available here. If you are in new town phase lll then this will be the nearest hospital. Tata Medical is there but it is not for general purpose.

We have a very satisfying experience at Ohio Hospital, Newtown kolkata. Very experienced, caring and humble doctors, Dr J Gupta Cardiology, Dr Pratik Mitra. Equipped with advanced icu & caring Nursing staff, neat and clean ICU, overall good environment, my father admitted for 7days, recovered very early. Thanks to Doctors & entire staff.

Stayed for 5 days to get treatment for my grandfather, my overall experience is as follows The staffs were very nice and hospitable even though I had some trouble communicating with a few due to language barrier i.e I can't speak Hindi. The facilities were very clean and sanitized properly. The food was good and the hospital staffs were very understanding of our situation. 5/5 Would highly recommend.

Worst experience! Unskilled nurse and ward boys in emergency ward. Were unable to make channel after 10mins of struggle on patient. Had to leave immediately to other hospital, else would have been declared a trial body for the untrained staff. Not recommended at all for emergency services !

Staffs are good. However the hospital infrastructure is very poor and pathethic. No AC is ICU and I am shocked with the washroom very dirty full of cloths, and dustbin and bad smell. When it come in terms of money they charges alot amd explains so well... but the service is very poor. Never recommend.

I took my mother for her vaccination to Ohio hospital this morning. My mother is 82 years and wheelchair-bound and I was very apprehensive for her comfort and safety. However, I was very impressed with the services at this hospital and the arrangements for the elderly were genuinely commendable. She was wheeled in by the hospital staff for her vaccine and the staff was quite comforting. After she was given the first dosage of the vaccine, she was given ample fluids so she could regain her energy. I would recommend getting vaccinated in this hospital because not only are they impeccably sanitised and clean but the hospitality of the staff with their patients is like no other.

So Ohio Hospitals and emergency services in the hospital are absolutely below standard. The emergency services desk offers no help except the fact that they love discussing Facebook and Instagram, while keeping patients waiting for nothing. They will give you information and options that are of no use. I don't understand why have they have kept the hospital open at the first place if they are of no help.

I was admitted for dengue, but very bad management with bad infrastructure, and the owner and doctor will not let you go or discharge saying you still have some serious issues. Very inexperienced staff and greedy doctors and unnecessarily expensive. Recommended not to visit this hospital.

Had admitted my mother for high Dengue fever. The doctors and nurses took excellent care of her. Other than the attentive care of Doctors like Dr. Jayanti Rakhit and Dr. Rohit Giri, and others, we were also very happy with the care provided by the nurses who ensured myother had a comfortable recovery stay. While the infrastructure may not be as good as other corporate hospitals, the staff care and dedication makes a big difference in the positive feel of patients. With many thanks to the staff of Ohio for helping my mother make a speedy recovery.

Worst hospital I have ever seen in Kolkata. My wife was admitted on 12th October 2023 due to sudden vomitting and blood pressure was reducing. They started to give saline water which is ok but unnecessary tests they had done like ecg, eco cardio, chest xray. They wanted to increase the bill as I have got insurance from my company. When the doctor visited in the evening she was very angry to know that my wife had not been given any medicine for the vertigo she is having which resulted to vomitting and no ct scan had been done but some unnecessary tests which was not at all required. We complained to nurses and staff but they are not well trained and had no co ordination with the doctors. A total mess I must say. I had discharged my wife on the very next day. I came in with chest pain and anxiety. My tests were done quickly.Dr Jayati Rakhit treated with me with utmost care and took time to understand my concern. I would request anyone who has panic attacks or cardiovascular issue to visit her at Ohio. She would genuinely take time to go through the tests one by one and give you the best possible treatment solution. I would also like mention Dr W. Akram, extremely good doctor who treated me when I walked in for emergency.

Had a very good inpatient experience when I was admitted for Dengue. The staff were excellent and provided very good care. Very happy especially with Dr. Jayanti Kumar Rakhit who closely monitored my treatment and followed up with the post discharge consultation to check the recovery progress. She is a detail-oriented, caring doctor with a focus on the patient's health and welfare. Would definately love to consult her again in case the need arises in the future.

Dr. Jayati Gupta Rakhit is an exceptionally qualified doctor. Under her supervision, the Ohio Hospital at New Town treated my mother and mother in-law on separate occasions. It is because of the Ohio Hospital doctors and nurses that my mother and mother in-law got back their lives. Even if I thank everyone at Ohio Hospital it will not be enough compared to what they have done for us.

Very good service overall. Sevice rates are very cheap. All the doctors and other staffs are very friendly too. The infection rates are low .Ohio is one of the best hospitals in kolkata right now.

A good tertiary level multiplicity hospital in New Town. Attending Doctors are excellent. The emergency unit is really good especially at night in New Town where there is dearth of General Hospital. I had to admit my old ailing father twice at night and on both occasions my father revived and returned home from the critical condition he was admitted to. Price wise it is a pinch in the pocket but it is gives a relatively fair value on monies spent there

I am posting this review especially for Dialysis Ward of Ohio Hospital. My father is taking dialysis there from last 2 years without any issue. The ward is clean and the technicians are very polite, well behaved and they have knowledge of the treatment. Doctors often visit the ward to monitor the treatment and are always available on call for any emergency. The TPA of the hospital is very smooth as well. You won't have to break your head for the cashless treatment. Overall Ohio Hospital has everything that is needed for dialysis.

Thursday I was suffering from fever with high Pain inside brain. SATURDAY i took admission. Cleanliness of Room - every 6hr housekeeping staff cleaning the room, Doctors treatment/advice, are very good. Sister visit every 30min. Overall good experience, the treatment was good and very helpful staff. We are fully satisfied with the services rendered to the patient. The hospital staff are very courteous and cooperative and helpful. Food was not decent but it is as per nutritionist advice.withen 24hr I become good and overall bill is ok.

The worst hospital. 1. There are no proper communication channels by the hospital. 2. No proper management system. 3. Every single staff of the hospital has its own story. 4. No proper information. 5. Delayed Process. 6. Still not getting over the fact that an ice pack was used inside an hospital to reduce a fever. 7. Patient Guardian not informed about doctor visits. 8. If no admission, no proper treatment. After Admission, worse treatment. 9. No proper Doctor Timings, no Updates on Doctor Visit. 10. Suggestions- Keep your phone recordings on while you enter, because the staffs of this hospital change their statement every single minute. 11. On talking to a Doctor, says that he is an Indian and he lives in US but he is not a proud Indian, he gives this kind of statements. My Basic Question!! Then why are you staying in India! 12. The worst service one would ever receive. 13. One employee blames another another blames another and at last the lower employees say sorry for the mistakes of the senior management. 14. Please please please , do not play with a patients life. Sorry to Say if there is a rating of 0 i would gove 0 to Ohio Hospital.

My first and bad also most probably last visit . As their management are really bad and they are really careless regarding patients appointment timings. The booked morning appointments and kept you waiting around 2.5 hrs as the lab technicians were paying attention towards their patents problem . As they charges too high in comparison to the quality of services they provide .
