I came to Coasters Coffee for the soft opening. The atmosphere is very comfortable as it has a lofty style. The cappuccino and matcha latte were delicious! It’s finally nice to have a coffee shop nearby. In a couple of weeks, I’m looking forward to stopping by here more often for a coffee and lunch. I would recommend this coffee shop when it opens to anyone working, living or stopping by the area.

What a great spot! I’m so happy to see coffee shops like this one opening in New West, owners are doing a great job and it shows by how nice the staff is! I had a chicken noodle soup which was very yummy and an eggnog latte half sweet which also hit the spot. It’s a great place to meet friends or just hang out, I loved the lounge with the big Christmas tree. But most of all, the wall with the trees is probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen and I wish I had this at home hahaha. They have a few savoury options and of course baked goods! They sell Agro Roasters beans and merchandise from Mountain Mornings (@mountain.mornings), which is an awesome artist. I’m coming back for sure ;)

The place is beautiful and has a calm, minimalistic vibe. I tried the cortado, snickerdoodle cookie and the chocolate cream cheese muffin. Cortado was really smooth and pleasant, and the cookie was really good! Service was great too.

Great cafe to visit. Their Rooibos latte was good and sandwiches are filling Soup of the day usually has both a vegetarian and meat option which is smart. I would recommend

We really liked the interior and atmosphere, feels like you want to return there definitely to immerse into different vibe! The menu, drinks and food tho are average and the same as other regular cafeteria. Nice sofas for your choice!

Wow! What a great addition to the neighborhood. I walked in with my baby and they approached me immediately to see if they could bring it's a baby-friendly snack, then proceeded to mash up some fresh berries for us! So thoughtful. The cream cheese muffin was delicious, and my iced coffee was great. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely go back!

We're pretty picky with coffee and we are very happy finding this shop. Their espresso was just perfect, the richness, taste, color, scent, aftertaste were beautiful. So far, we found this is the best coffee in NW (better than Take 5, and way better than Waves, Jjbean, Serious Coffee, etc.)

Gorgeous interior. Love the ambience, love the menu choices. Would be great if they had even more gluten free options… 😁 This place is so cozy. How cozy? They even had the softest toilet paper ever in the bathrooms. It’s the little things. Hope you’re able to open more locations in the future!!

Pretty decent place for a coffee and desert. Eatery’s are served and they seem to be priced ok. Service is excellent. Nice deco and great people here. Nice neat place in New West central area. However, parking is not provided, so expect to look for street parking which aren’t free.

Very comfortable cafe to come to coffee, food, and pastries. Come relax and rest.. music is just right not to loud and it’s calm atmosphere.. I recommend the soup tomato or Coconut Thai.. the owners are 2 sisters who both work at the cafe.. it’s nice to see the owners working hard to serve the public.. ❤️ this place..

First timer. It was a random visit because the weather was so nice. Super friendly staff and modern and somewhat quirky interior. Their croissant was so good. The bacon and cheese bun was really good too! A must-try.

Great and calming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and greets people with a smile. I had their caramel latte and double baked almond corssiant. They were delicious 😋. Hit up this spot with your friends or if you want to spend some time in a cafe yourself.

If you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy a great-tasting coffee and a delicious croissant, look no further than Coasters Coffee. This newly-opened coffee shop in New Westminster has a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owners are welcoming and attentive, they even offered to re-make the coffee in case it wasn't to my liking and gave us a free snickerdoodle on the way out (which was delicious btw). The coffee was brewed to perfection, and the croissants are flaky and buttery.

This is a new favorite. Great spot for breakfast or a little afternoon treat, and to meet with friends, or read a book. We keep coming back for consistently good coffee and service, and the food is delicious. Welcome to the neighborhood Coasters, we’re grateful to have you!

I came in for their soft opening and I was very impressed with the atmosphere and the great staff! I had an iced mocha (which was absolutely delicious) and got to enjoy a quiet nook to take a breather.

Didn’t catch the name of the husband / wife owners but love the theme of the café. Very west coast with lots of wood and plants aesthetic. They’re getting their beans in from Agro and they’re still working on dialling it in (tiny bit on the sour side but they’re not open fully yet and it’s their first cafe) . They’re getting close :) they’re still in their soft open so they’re still figuring everything out with more pastries and food to come. I think they did a bang up job on the aesthetics and look forward to coming back when they’ve finished the details on their menu. I hope they consider being open past 5 for at least a few days when they open for real.

Lovely little coffee shop with great atmosphere, ambiance and decor. The cobb salad is great, lots of toppings and a good dressing. The breakfast sandwich is decent, though I'd like more of the pesto cream as it does lack a bit of flavour. I can't recommend their seasonal eggnog latte. It was bitter and there was WAAAAAAAAAY too much additional nutmeg added to it, which is likely what made it bitter. It was also too sweet. I'm not sure what they add to it but I've made eggnog lattes at home with just espresso and eggnog and it's never as sweet as this drink was. Disappointed because I love eggnog lattes.

Popped in for soft opening. What a cozy coffee shop! Latte was delicious. Staff and owner are friendly and welcoming. The vibe and decor is absolutely West Coast and comfortable. 5-star all the way - highly recommended. Perfect location!

Beautiful space, wonderful staff and amazing beverages & eats. They offer some really great drinks, such as the Hojicha, authentic Japanese roasted green tea paired with oatmilk - it has a rich brown colour and flavour almost similar notes to a smooth Roiboos. Really cool space, they are also wheelchair friendly - if you haven't been totally worth checking out.

The place is brand new and not fully open just yet, but the owners were kind enough to serve a coffee to stay. The cappuccino I had was actually excellent. Smooth, creamy, and without a bitterness in the aftertaste. Their coffee beans are from Agro Coffee Roasters based in East Van. (These folks are #6 on Vancouver Coffee Snob’s Best Roasters 2023 list.) Judging by the interior and the first experience I’ve had here, I’m pretty excited to come back with friends and family once they are open on a full scale.

😠 I am a big matcha lover, and I usually enjoy the matcha strawberry latte at other cafes/ bubble tea shops. But the one I got here was absolutely TERRIBLE. 👍👍 Cute & modern cafe located along Pier Park in New West on Front St near the New West Quay. I’d recommend using the paid parking lot a walkable distance (~15min walk) to the café in the “Shops of New West” where the Landmark Cinema is located. There’s also small strip of paid available right in front...
