COVID 19 has changed the way we travel. And it has changed the way this business has to operate. Our bubble party of 6 treated to a well sanitized facility that has been reduced to a max of 12. But sweet for us as we had the whole complex to ourselves. Antony was our KayAk guide who was awesome and informative, he had given us more water safety tips for the rest of our stay. So do book with Coast Mountain for your Kayak adventures. Surge Narrows Provincial Park Hiking trail just up the road took us out to the Narrows. Very comfortable and relaxing spot. The wood fired dock sauna was a extra special treat.

Fantastic find and totally different. Forget the problems of off grid, enjoy the eco solar power. It is a kayaking lodge, but we were given a great welcome (with tea in a tea pot with boiling water!!) and spent the evening watching wildlife with a glass of wine from the balcony of the lounge. Must take own food for evening meal - but gas cookers and ovens deal with this fine. Great breakfast. Pricey but unique atmosphere in a special place.

The lodge is minimalist. The location is an awesome base for kayaking, fishing and adventures like that. The location is breathtaking.

This place is amazing! We loved the view and quiet natural peacefulness. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating; breakfasts were delicious! We saw a humpback whale from the deck and loved watching their resident blue heron catching fish. Comfortable and clean! The sauna on the deck was a highlight for the kids. Hope to be back one day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lodge. Stunning views from the deck. Killer whales and humpback whales swam right by the dock. They also have great equipment rentals on site and we took a guided tour through the local waters. 10/10

Amazing place. If you want to escape from the crowded and loud city life that could be your destination. Located at the other side of Quadra Island you'll first take the ferry and then follow narrow roads to this lonely place. Once a fish farm the owners created a beautiful home for their guests. Breakfast is included and kayak trips or rentals are available. Inter-tidal experience was awesome!

Great times! They were very accommodating with us coming in late season. We saw lots of marine life and our guide was very knowledgable and personable. Definitely recommended

Absolutely loved staying here and am already ready to go back. Besides the location being incredibly beautiful and secluded, the lodge itself was well kept and provided a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Liam and Hillary took us on a 2.5 hour tour, we had seals playfully swimming with us, eagles flying above us and starfish feasting on the rocks below us. It was all so unbelievably beautiful. They were so informative and knowledgeable about everything around us, you could tell they were experienced which eased so much of my anxiety, allowing our first sea kayaking experience to be an adventure we will never forget! We hope to return one day to experience it again.

Stayed as part of a Best Coast Outfitters kayak course. Clean, comfortable, spacious lodge in a world class setting. Outdoor sauna is lovely after a day of padlding. The shared spaces (kitchen, living dining areas) were cozy and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!
