You know what I love? Stumbling upon a hidden gem while wandering through a new neighborhood. And let me tell you, this joint is a prime example of why you should always keep your eyes open when exploring. The sandwiches here are the real deal, made with love and attention to detail that you just don't find at the chain shops. And if you're a true sandwich connoisseur like me, you owe it to yourself to try all of them - I know I did. But let me tell you, the pork sandwich is a standout that'll have you coming back for more. And not only is the food great, but the people here are warm and welcoming, the kind of folks who make you feel like you've been a regular for years. Plus, they're all about using locally sourced ingredients, so you can feel good about supporting the community while chowing down. Don't miss out on this neighborhood gem - trust me, it's worth the detour.

Small and cozy. Top notch. Feels like home! Egg, sausage and cheese biscuit was exquisite. I said mmm practically every bite. Highly recommend adding a potato patty to your sandwich! Will definitely be back when we’re in N Vancouver again!!

A nice little neighborhood sandwich shop. The food was great and reasonable prices. Fresh buns and great taste. The chicken sandwich was so tasty. The owners are very friendly too. All around great place.

This place came highly recommended by friends and North Van locals. I came in for their famous beef brisket sandwich but they sold out! Tip: get here before 1pm before they sell out!! I ended up ordering a breakfast sandwich and wow, INCREDIBLE! Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time! Quality ingredients, friendly service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. Sandwich bread can make or break a sandwich and they definitely have either made or sourced the perfect sandwich bread. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

This is a great place to have a snack, order a beer and hang out with people. Writing a review about the sandwiches was a little harder since they are not crazy big but they also don’t cost an arm and a leg. The chicken sandwich was amazing and would order it again

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They dont have a ton of options but it is definitely quality over quantity. Service is the best you'll get and the price can't be beat. I recommend sitting in for a pint but they are a great take out option as well.

A great little hole in the wall spot on Lonsdale. I got the brisket sandwich that would have been perfect if they did not run out of coleslaw (They put cheese on for substitute). Very cozy atmosphere with an eclectic styling of various little signs, flags, and trophies. The service was phenomenal. Despite how busy it was, we were always served with a smile. Will definitely be returning.

The North Shore's best kept secret. The best and only true pub like experience with warm and welcoming hosts that take the time to get to know you. Friday afternoons the banter is filled with ex-pats... Saturday morning it's the spot to be for proper football and rugby minded folks. The beer is fresh, the food is made with love, and the service keeps you coming back.

Not sure it should be called “Meat at o O’Neil’s” … perhaps “Meet At O’Neils”? There seemed to be very little meat in the actual sandwich. Admittedly, the little meat that was in the sandwich was good, but after hearing and reading rave reviews I expected perhaps something with a better bread/slaw/meat ratio. I get protein is expensive but at $14 for a 6ish” sandwich, I expected more than a little sprinkle of meat. I guess times are indeed tough for everyone.
