First of all, this is a pre-order business. If you want a cake done, you call ahead and request what you want. However, on a last minute call I made to her, I was lucky that she had one of her orange cake in hand. I personally not a big fan of zesty cakes but this one was really good. Not overwhelmingly orangey, nor too sweet. The cake was really soft. My wife really liked it. We will definitely consider ordering from here in the future

Doceria da Maria is absolutely wonderful. I was in a pinch and needed a cake for work celebration. I contacted Maria on Sunday, needing the cake for Monday, and she had it done in just a few hours. She was more than willing to work around my schedule and do whatever she could to make it work for her customer. I ended up going with the orange cake at her recommendation, and it was such a hit. It was so beautifully decorated (picture), and my god it was delicious!! Everyone loved it, and wanted to know where I'd gotten it. We were all very impressed. Thank you Maria! I will be ordering the Doce da Leite next time, thanks to that delicious sample you included. 15/10 would recommend your business to everyone :)

Absolute amazing experience ordering from Maria, with a beautiful end result. After reading all the glowing reviews, I purchased an orange cake for my mum’s birthday, citrus being her favourite desert base. The orange flavour was perfectly balanced and delicate, and it was soooo moist. We ordered a small, and their are easily 10 healthy portions. The purchasing process was easy, and pickup was a breeze.

We ordered the gluten-free brownie pie and orange cake for a birthday party. The birthday boy has gluten allergy and we must say both were delicious. Our friends and family also gave us great feedback too and they couldn't even tell the cakes were gluten free. Maria was very responsive to the orders and very nice to interact with. We will definitely be ordering cakes from her...and will have to try out each different type of cakes she offers.

I ordered the Orange Cake for my wife's birthday since my wife is OBSESSED with it! It is the best cake my family and I have ever had!! It's delicious and light - the orange taste is perfectly subtle. I called the day before her birthday, and Maria had it ready to go the next afternoon without a problem. From now on, we will always be ordering our cakes from here. Sometimes we find ourselves looking for excuses to treat ourselves to Maria's delicious cakes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying the orange cake!

I ordered the Doce de Leite Cake with strawberries and not only it was beeeeautiful, but it was also so tasty and reminded me of home! For my fellow Brazilians, the doce de leite tastes just like the ones we buy in Brazil. Best doce de leite I’ve tried in Vancouver! Just perfect! Will definitely order more cakes from Maria!!

I ordered an orange cake with raspberry the day before my husband's birthday and received it the next day. I'm really appreciated for her prompt action. The cake was so beautifully decorated. It wasn't too sweet and it's like a real homemade cake. We were all satisfied with the cake even my little daughter! It was absolutely delicious and perfect with coffee. I'm highly recommend orange cake. I will definitely order it again! :)

Ordered a key lime pie for my southern husband's birthday. Had to order on short notice and needed something nut safe. Doceria da Maria were able to not only make a fabulous pie but did it over night and made it totally nut safe! We'll be ordering lots from here from now on. Thanks so much.
