Great variety of supermarkets, take out dining, and services (hair salon, bank, police). Two pharmacies and a walk in clinic are all across from each other. The location is very accessible by bus and a 15 minute walk from SkyTrain. Underground parking is not an issue, however, street parking is time limited and scarce at peak hours. Few sit-down restaurants available.

Very handy. Lots of shops and places to sit and eat or rest. They have been doing lots of work over the winter to enhance the shopping experience and yet maintain safety during the pandemic. They have put in more outdoor seating and replaced some of the old tiles. UPDATE everything seems back to pre pandemic days. Shops are open and busy. Eating places are active with people and with spring lots of trees and benches. Great place to shop and just sit and people watch

This is a very busy shopping center. There is just about every type of store to fulfill your one stop shopping needs. Lots of parking but it is under construction so be prepared for delays.

The shopping experience was one to remember. 😊 I bought coffee filters and when the price came out differently than I expected, customer service people went to check. There was an old sale price on the shelf and it was honored in my favour. Thank you for your kindness. Whenever I'm in the area, I make a point to do groceries at Save On.

Today I saw the manger humiliate the employee, honestly I felt so much rage but held back due to the fear that I might get the employee into more trouble. If someone in higher up sees this that lady (manger) needs to be fired, what an embarrassment she is to that establishment and no one should be forced to put up with such ignorance and disrespect in a work place. I’m sure there is more than one manger so the date is 11/29/22 3:20pm and I would describe her, but I’ll probably just come off as rude.

It’s home, very local but getting gentrified very quickly. It’s got all the necessities and a nice selection of different restaurants family owned and fast food. Can get groceries here as well.

Highgate Village Shopping Centre is a unique outdoor shopping destination located in Burnaby's Kingsway area. The mall's layout is designed in a circular pattern with an open area in the middle, surrounded by stores and services. Unlike traditional indoor malls, Highgate Village is an open-air shopping center, allowing visitors to enjoy the fresh air while shopping. Despite its small size, Highgate Village offers a variety of stores and services. The mall is anchored by a Save-On-Foods grocery store and a Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy, but there are also a number of smaller specialty stores that cater to specific needs and interests. Some of the standout stores include a BC Liquor Store, a Dollarama discount store, and a London Drugs. The mall also has several dining options, including a Starbucks, a Subway, and a Thai restaurant. For those looking for a quick bite, the mall's food court offers several options, including a Chinese food stall and a pizza place. One of the advantages of Highgate Village's open-air design is that there are plenty of seating areas scattered throughout the mall, making it a comfortable place to spend time. The mall is also well-maintained, with clean and well-lit common areas. Parking is available on-site, although it can be limited during peak hours. However, the mall is easily accessible by transit, with several bus routes stopping nearby. Overall, my experiences at Highgate Village Shopping Centre have been positive. While it may be small and lacking a roof, the mall's unique open-air design and variety of stores and services make it a convenient shopping destination in Burnaby's Kingsway area. The mall is well-maintained and offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for visitors. If you're looking for a different kind of shopping experience, Highgate Village Shopping Centre is definitely worth checking out.

This is a great little mall that has everything the Edmonds and surrounding community needs (maybe there a couple things more that would be -- please feel free comment). There is Save-On Foods for groceries, Shoppers Drugmart for prescriptions, Body Energy Club, Mr. Greek Donair Shop, Fresh Slice, Rice & Noodle, Starbucks and many more options in the row of shops just behind it on Arcole Way.

Excellent shopping plaza with a variety of shops (liquor store, Shoppers Drug Mart, Save On Foods, Subway, Fresh Slice, etc.) Very well maintained grounds plus ample free parking available.

There is not much there. It's a 3 story strip mall. It does have Save-On-Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, BC Liquor store, Club 16 Fitness, Burger King and a couple of other stores. Is fairly busy all the time. Large underground parking lot with motivator (moving sidewalk) entrance from parking plus an elevator. It's is not fully covered so weather plays a big part on shopping pleasure.

Nice shopping mall with a grocery store and a bc liquor store. Has a good Thai place for a quick bite to eat. Good food but is cafeteria style. Cashier can be more friendly at that place but food is good and very reasonable.

Convenient location and lots of parking available. Ample amount of shops to get all your errands done in one place and very close by! Also lots of restaurants adjacent nearby which makes it a very high foot traffic location

Good variety of shops and services on a multilevel environment. Difficult to navigate for a newcomer Parking is adequate. Very busy during the peak hours.

Nice, cute little outdoor mall. Street parking can be difficult to find sometimes. They do have underground parking too though. I visit here mostly because one of the Fraser Health clinics is here. I will probably be visiting the shops and restaurants in the outdoor mall once the current pandemic situation improves.

Highgate village is a one stop shopping place where you can enjoy food, grocery and entertainment/toys. There's plenty of parking. But make sure your vehicle is not too high. Wheelchairs and strollers friendly.

Friendly helpful staff😊 always willing to be of service, when we need quality products for reasonable prices & Thursday is 20% off for seinors⭐️⭐️⭐️

I go to Shoppers Drug Mart here on Thursdays and the parking is very accessible from Kingsway. At all of the other Shoppers in my area parking can be a nuisance so I just stay away.

It's nice and small mall with all necessary stores. There you can find the Freshslice Pizza, Save on Food, Shoppers, florist, liquor store and much more. lots of parking lot available underground and street parking for free. In the parking level and kingsway side you could find a lot of other store, resturant and coffee shop. I like it

  • 4/5 Charlene M. 1 year ago on Google
Could use a few more stores but does have Walmart, Save-On-Foods, Winners, Dollarama, BMO, fruit & veggie store, small courtyard and a shoe store.

  • 5/5 Dan 2 years ago on Google
Underground parking, elevator access, plenty of seating (a blessing), greenery, and even little statues and fountains. It's a quality little plaza, though it could have more cover for benches. Easy driving and transit access. Shops of course have their own reviews, but it's a nice variety.
