Very cute little Cafe in the heart of Newton. Just recently got taken over by new owners who are so kind and helpful. Today I got a Mocha frappuccino and the Mango Berry Cheesecake. The Cheesecake was delicious and so flavourful. Good size portions and lots of variety for sweet treats.

Hit up Espresso Cafe on a whim and man, was it a win! The owner’s a legend - super chill and funny, made us feel like regulars on our first drop-in. He recommended the Coffee Toffee and Chocoholic frappes. Both were bang on - rich, flavorful, and not too sweet. The place has this laid-back, homey feel, with quotes plastered everywhere. Sounds cheesy, but some really make you think, even the ones in the loo! The owner’s not just about serving drinks; he’s there to make your day. Cracked us up with a joke just as we were leaving. Big shoutout for being halal - not always easy to find a spot that gets it right. For us Muslims, it’s a huge plus. So, big thanks to Espresso Cafe for nailing it. It’s like your cool friend’s living room, but with better coffee. Definitely going back.

My mechanic is in the neighbourhood and my boyfriend and I had some time during my oil change so we decided to try this little cafe that was well reviewed. The coffee was great, the brunch was very delicious, I had an avocado wrap, and my boyfriend got the grand slam with pancakes, I also had a pumpkin spice latte which was very tasty. The food was very affordable and the service was excellent.

Have been to this cafe many times now and love being there every time. Their Panini is the best in town. I tried out the veggie and avocado panini and both were delicious and crispy. They have a wide range of pastries. They have a wide variety of coffee and fresh juice as well. The location is perfect amid other shops nearby. The owner is very friendly and always helps us with the menu. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped by after gym for a quick bite and coffee and was really happy with the experience. They really put time and effort into making good coffee and it showed. We ordered a lemon coconut bar as well and it was delicious.

Espresso cafe is hands down the best coffee shop in BC. Small family business owned this cafe is so cute! 😊 I got caramel macchiato and they deliver with that beautiful smooth caramel taste 100% recommend. They have freshly baked goodies from your favorite muffins and buttery croissants to pieces of cake. There mango berry cheese, red velvet and my favorite tiramisu is to die for! They also have a full breakfast and lunch menu. This is great for the whole family to enjoy time together with a warm hearty meal. Don't know where to take your significant other out? This is perfect for that cute coffee date 😍

We stopped by in between errands at this Cafe after hearing a lot from others. What a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by the very friendly owner who helped us decide from the wide variety of menu and drinks. The panini was excellent and very filling. The calzone was also very good and their mango cheesecake was delicious. Will be going back soon for the hospitality and the tasty treats.

Food is fantastic always fresh . Fast friendly service. They have so many options on specialty drinks and foods are great options for non vegetarians. And vegetarians. Including vegans

Really great Cafe. Friendly personable service. Owner is the gentleman serving you and making the food. His wife helps out and makes cakes like the tres Leche in the photo. Great variety. From paninis, I had the pesto chicken sandwich and it was the best I've had in years, to samosas and spring rolls. Wide variety of pastries, sweets and treats. Huge beverage selection, we had 2 hot beverages and an iced one. All were very good. Another gem on this block right by the Newton wave pool and transit hub.

I’m grateful to have found this locally owned cafe, one with such character and quality. It was my first time here but certainly not the last. Like the other reviews, the owners are helpful, down to earth, and caring. I had the veggie panini (made to order!) a cranberry bar (locally made!) and their organic drip coffee (their house blend). Everything was fresh, tasty and affordable. I’ll be back again soon, cheers!

We traveled around 30mins to try this place and it was worth it. The servers were friendly. Coffee was delicious. We enjoyed the breakfast and dessert as well. We ordered grand slam breakfast, French toast breakfast, cafe latte, caramel macchiato, and red velvet cake.

I have finally found a good breakfast cafe in Newton. This place is very cute, affordable, and overall great place to go. I Forgot to take pics of our croissant sandwiches but they were delicious. For dessert I ordered a cheesecake pumpkin pie which was amazing! The staff are very nice and will offer you some good suggestions. I will definitely be coming back again.

Wow, just wow!!! Jamaican beef patty came right out of the oven. It was so incredibly tasty that I had three!! Machiato was so yummy. I didn't tip when I ordered, but I went back and did so after because it was so good. Wife had something too. She thought it was very good as well. Fresh fresh

Enjoyed my decaf ice coffee with almond milk . Pastries were delicious we tried chicken rolls and sausage Pattie’s with our coffe , everything was freshly baked straight from the oven . Highly recommended .

I absolutely love espresso cafe! They make amazing food, my favourite is the pesto chicken panini, it's delicious! I also highly recommend for everyone to try the Wendy special! I've been getting it for years and it's terrific!

Just ordered the soup of day with multi grain bread. Have to say, It was delicious. Big chunks of broccoli and carrots were good. Liked the buttered breads. Nice ambiance with little chitter chatter. 👍🏻🙌🏻

Such a friendly and nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the owner even gave us free brownie samples just because. I really enjoyed the avocado BLT, and felt very welcomed. Coffee was tasty too, and the joy of the staff felt contagious. Great little cafe!

Hidden gem! A variety of food, drinks and bakery items. I had the recommended pesto chicken panini, which was flavorful and filling, and the iced white chocolate mocha, which pretty much tasted like Starbucks. The sticky toffee cake was really good too - moist, sweet and the more than reasonably priced at $2. I think it was the owner - he was patient and friendly. I will definitely be coming back again to try more of the menu items :)

This place is great! Good coffee and smoothies. The food was delicious and there is a good variety of choices. Best of all was the service. The owner was so very kind and made sure we felt at home. We will absolutely be back every time we are in town.100% would recommend!

One of the cutest and best coffee shops around! The staff are so kind and accommodating, it really seems like they want you to enjoy your drink. I like plainer drinks and I've enjoyed the iced coffee and iced latte very much. My partner enjoys sweet drinks and has loved the Peppermint Mocha (hot and blended), multiple milkshakes, Caramel Macchiato (hot and blended), and the Chocolate frappe! I've tasted all of the sweeter drinks my partner orders and they are very rich and tasty!

While I was visiting out in Newton I had some time to enjoy a coffee. With all the small busnesses having a hard time because of Covid I thought that I would support one instead of running to one of the chain busness. Well I sure did myself a big favor!!! This is the place to go to for a cozy cup of tea for two, or bring the family for lunch. I can not make a suggestion on the food because I only had a coffee. The coffee was a delight to sip on as I waited for a bus back to Guilford area! ☕😊 Hours are 6 days a week from 9. a.m. - 5. a.m. Closed Sunday.

The design of the café is so nice and clean. It was my first time going there and the vibe there is so chill. Its a great place to study , hang with friends or to take a break. Customer service was spot on and the (owner?) was very kind and friendly. I ordered the Ice Mocha and it taste so good (5/5). Can't wait to try other things from the menu. (I'll add photos next time I go there)

Me and my boyfriend stopped by this morning. Family owned, amazing customer service and the lady behind the counter was the most down to earth passionate woman ever! They also are one of the only coffee stores to serve “Toffee Coffee” flavouring. Which by the way IS FANTASTIC. Highly recommend this beautiful store with Wonderful drinks and glad to support a local family business! Will be coming back, OFTEN 🤍

I came here one day wanting to go to a cute cafe, and this fit the bill. Came here with my family that day and tried their Ice Mocha. My family tried their food and loved it. People would always tell me the difference between different types of coffee, but I couldn’t tell until I tried the coffee here. This is what good coffee is supposed to taste like. They use organic beans as well. I walked 40 mins to the cafe on Canada Day and was sad to see them closed (totally understandable.) I went there the next day. Same amazing coffee. This place will be my go to when I’m in the mood for coffee. It’s intimate, chic, and stands out from the franchises in the area with comparable pricing.

we were a party of 5, i reserved pretty late on their website, unfortunately. but the owner was still pretty flexible with us and we appreciate it very much. we ordered 3 toasted marshmellow lattes, 1 pina colada smoothie, and 2 mango peach refreshers and a few seasonal cakes. we also ordered fries and wedges made fresh to order ! if u could not tell, the dishes were mostly us. sorry to the owner, but yes highly recommend :3
