I am not usually a fettuccini kinda guy. Not a shrimp pizza kinda guy. But man. This place does both soooooo good i am now very much diggin the chicken fettuccini plate and the shrimp jalapeño pizza. Maybe not together I mean that’s a lot of food. Okay fine I totally have done both in one sitting. Anyyyyhow Love going Sunday’s so I can chill inside w my pizza and watch seinfeld on my phone and the super warm super lovely staff always chat me up ask me about my week. Family run business and they treat their customers like their family, too

This place is absolutely fantastic. The food is top quality homemade with love. The first time I had their delicious margarita pizza. My second time I had the pasta bolognese. Both outstanding! The portions are very generous but because it's high quality it's not heavy and I ate it all. In addition the service is impeccable. They are so warm and courteous truly caring that you are enjoying your meal. I am just passing through from New York City where the standard is so high because the competition is so unforgiving. If the Firewood cafe was in NYC it would be a gold mine giving the other establishments a run for their money. This place is a gem as are the people who run it!

A small restaurant with amazing pizza and personable, prompt service. While it seems their main business is take out, we enjoyed a dine-in meal with our two young children and had impressively attentive service. Our food was very fast coming out and both pizzas were delicious. Watching the chef toss pizza dough in the air was icing on the cake.

This is a place full of passion and love of authentic pizza and pasta. All the members are very friendly. The rose seafood fettuccine is very yummy! My daughter really enjoys it. Will come back next time to try the pizza

Absolutely banger pizza spot! Prices are more than fair for the topping portions, and theres so many options. Its a small spot, can’t really seat more than 8-10 people, but they’re pretty quick to get the pizza out so taking it togo is a good choice. Pictured is the chef’s special

Oh that oven, just like the one on Chef's table Pizza series. Crispy thin crust, good all the way to the end, extra tomato sce pls. Tasty, delicious. The side of wings was impressive too, again the sauce so perfect.

What an amazing experience! We were on our way to a game and called ahead and put in an order for 3 large pizzas so we could eat as soon as we arrived. The person who took our order over the phone asked when we would pick it up and we said we would like to dine in. He then suggested we order when we got there because the pizzas would only take about 7 mins. When we arrived, the guy at the cash asked if we were the ones that just called for an order of 3 pizzas. When we said yes, he confirmed our order and told us they had already started making our pizzas. He sat us at a table for six people even though we were only 4 as he wanted us to have enough space for all the pizzas we ordered. The service was amazing! He was checking to make sure we were good and we didn't even have to ask for more water...he came by and filled it up. The pizza was also really good! We ordered the chef special, New York and Chicago pizzas. The thin crust had a good crunch to it and the toppings & pizza sauce were excellent in quantity and taste. We will definitely come again!!

Small eating area as most people were doing takeout. Service was fast and friendly. Pizza was tasty with a thin crust. Nice to have a family business rather than a big franchise operation. Lots of great pizza choices. Definitely good for a quick bite. Reasonable prices.

a great pizza BUT they started putting a sweet balsamic vinaigrette instead of Greek dressing on the Greek salad and when I asked why they call it a Greek salad rather than a salad with sweet vinaigrette they said it's always been a sweet dressing instead of Greek salad?!?!? Fair enough, stop calling it a Greek salad and I won't have to eat sweet dressing I never ordered.

An amazing place that have a cozy atmosphere. Pizza and Pasta and lasagna was very delicious. Servers were very professional and friendly.

My sisters ordered the pizza, I had a delicious lasagna. Everyone enjoyed, and I have to say that was fantastic food! Lasagna did not disappoint, and the garlic toast was just amazing, with real chopped garlic. Even hours later, the second piece was sublime.

Service was amazing. Food was good, I ordered Futtuccine Alfredo in which the pasta wasn’t properly al-dente but the alfredo sauce was delicious. And i also ordered Tuscany Pizza whose crust was amazing and the sauce too but they hadn’t put any Sundried tomatoes which was mentioned in the explanation. Rest overall experience was good.

Absolutely overrated. Server was rude. It's the worst 20 dollars I've ever spent in my life as a customer. Will definitely not return. There must be a reason why Vancouver is a failed city and if you don't get it, experience yourself by stopping by this pizza place.

I have been ordering pizza from Firewood for years and love the pizza so much. Every staff member is always super friendly to me, the pizza is always ready fast, is made perfectly every time, and is SO good! My favourite pizza in the city by far, and I am always looking forward to my next order! Thank you, Firewood!

Absolutely delicious with perfect portions. I don't think I'll be able to enjoy any other pizza again - their crust is the perfect combination of crispy but soft, and not greasy either! I loved watching my pizza get popped into the oven. Their cafe is an adorable little place to dine in.

Pizza is amazing I had the grilled chicken and loved it. Great place for pickup as we were staying close by. On our last night in Vancouver just ordered from there and will be back next time we are in the area.

We are staying in Cambie Village for the first time during our stay in Vancouver and not only do we love the neighborhood, we love the Firewood Café just as much. In 6 days we ate there 3 times😊 that pasta with the special sauce is to die for, the fettuccine alfedo is just droolworthy and the crust on the pizza is perfect. We'll definitely be attending a few more times before leaving

I’m a little late to the party but the Firewood Cafe is the best pizza place in the city. We’ve been getting pizza from there every Friday night for fifteen years. The pizza is always fantastic and the staff are always warm and welcoming. We’re so glad to be part of their community!

Super delicious!!! We stopped by around 5 so it was pretty empty inside, but there were tons of takeout orders which was a good sign. Everything was delicious and fresh. Lovely spot, highly recommended!

Best pizza place in Vancouver! Delicious, authentic, thin crust pizza. Also their Caesar salad is my favourite ever! You won’t be disappointed!

Truly an amazing place, pizza here tastes nothing like your regular delivery. I’d go as far as saying that their pizza tastes much better than even restaurant pizza. Large menu that ranges from pizza to amazing pasta. If you chose to eat in the place has a very cozy atmosphere and it’s nice to sit down with a friend or something to enjoy some wood burning oven pizza.

Really lovely people and really lovely food! When I realized on arrival that the food I had ordered for pick up wasn't vegetarian and had chicken stock in it, they kindly offered to remake it for me without the stock, no charge! The pasta was also delicious.

My sister and I went to the firewood for the first time. The pizza was exactly what I was hoping for, crispy crust and the toppings were made with care, and homemade pizza sauce. One of the best I ever had. The service was friendly and enthusiastic and if we had more time we would’ve stopped by again to try something else. We will be back the next time we’re in Vancouver. Highly recommend.
