We ate there on 13'th February 2022 around 3pm. Ordered the bun kebabs. In my friends bun kebab there was a screw. Attached are the pictures. On complaining they said they get the patty from the manufacturer. I understand that but there has to be some quality check. Not sure if they reported back to the manufacturer (we have not received any feedback). We want to highlight the issue as it was a pretty big screw and could have injured someone if swallowed.

Nice outlet . Their burgers are huge. Very tasty 😋. The portions for fried chicken were huge too. I tried even the veggie burger which was yummy missed the actual veggies in it though like lettuce and tomatoes and onions. I wonder why that is not included in the veggie burger. And the Gabbar burger was awesome. Must visit place.

I ordered food through door dash. The estimated prep/delivery time was about 45mins, but it arrived way sooner. I got Maula Jatt burger, chicken poutine, double chicken thighs burger, and cheesecake. The Maula jatt burger is insane! It’s huge! Bread to chicken ratio is uneven but it’s even better because there’s a lot more chicken to enjoy. Which was juicy, full of flavour, tender and hot! The poutine.. so much flavour in the chicken pieces, and not skimming on the cheese and gravy either! Be careful, it’s a whole meal of its own (the portion is very big and filling). I haven’t had any room in my stomach left for the double thigh burger but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it tomorrow. The cheesecake is your standard New York style, vanilla flavour, I paired it with a nice glass of cognac and coke, served on ice. The whole meal was a delight! Thank you, will definitely order again!

One of the best halal options, they introduced 2 new items which are totally worth it, its called the peri rice platter and the peri rice combo, both come with a drink and rice but the chicken is different You get boneless chicken for the platter and regular chicken(with bone). Priced same 9.99, it's fulfilling and should be enough for 1 person. Staff is very friendly and helpful The other items on the menu are good as well, though i haven't tried their whole menu, but most of it is good

We went on the 6th or 7th day of ramadan. Iftar time was at 7:55 p.m. at 7:30 p.m. we made a phone call to the restaurant and ordered seven burgers. We told them that we were coming in 15 minutes. They were very busy that day and by mistake they heard me saying that we will arrive by 8:15 p.m. When we arrived at 7:45 p.m. and checked on our order, they said that they thought we were picking it up at 8:15 p.m. The restaurant was extremely busy and there was a big lineup. This is where the story becomes better. The owner did every effort to give my four kids myself, my wife and my mom and dad the food in record time. He delivered the food in 5 minutes. All 7 of the Gabbar burgers. Not only that, he gave complimentary dates and cold milk with a bit of roohafza in it. This was incredible and we were very satisfied. The owner then proceeded to give dates to every single person in line and roohafza milk to everyone. I at least saw five or six jugs of milk finished within 10 minutes. The service was so good that after we were done eating I wanted to tip them a second time. The owner refused my tip with a smile and said I hope to see you again. We will definitely see him again. If anybody was wondering how the food was, Gabbar burgers were incredible. We also added 10 peri peri chicken legs. That was delicious as well. I would suggest everyone to get them in the spicy flavor. I'm hoping that this business succeeds. If he ever wants to expand in Saskatchewan, I will partner with him.

Buying from couple of years but quality not stable sometimes good sometimes ok and sometimes smell oil too much. Price on deal is fine as Gabbar Burger but otherwise a burger cost you $12. Charging for bag .30 cents without consent too bad. This should be included in price why charging extra. They might charge for napkins as well sooner.

Was reading Vancouver is Awesome today and Chicken World was featured on there. The story of Adeel was very compelling so we decided to give this place a try. We picked up both the Gabbar burger (which is the special of the day) and a 5 piece chicken with peri fries. The entire meal was AMAZING. I've eaten at alot of fried chicken places locally and they cannot compare. The Gabbar chicken had 2 pieces of chicken patty, was juicy and the spicy sauce had the best kick I've ever had. The fried chicken was juicy, skin was crunchy but not overly done. It's legit better than churches or kfc or LA Chicken. Will def be back. Servers are friendly.

Great fried chicken shop with an Indian flavour twist. Ask for their complimentary tea (milk + cardamom + other spices), it is so addictive! I tried their limited time promo combo (Family Feast) which was $19.99, along with a few other small orders: Karizma Burger: Large, crispy and juicy chicken, deep fried well (not too oily) and well marinated. I also added cheese. 5pc Chicken: Large generous portions (spicy and non-spicy available) Strawberry Milkshake: very sweet, and most likely used strawberry syrup to flavour it Masala Fries: very nicely seasoned. Would love to try their Peri-Peri fries next time Rice n’ Spice: great mini-meal or side-order, as it's a rice bowl topped with their chicken and sauce (it is quite spicy)

So I came here thinking I was gonna get a Quick bite to eat, ended up waiting 30 min or longer for our food. Ordered on a Monday night around 8. When we got here it wasn't busy at all so I'm not sure why it was an extremely long wait to get our food. Seeing that there were maybe only 2 people working at that time I can understand there may be a longer wait time but I also thought this was a fast food place? Waiting 30+ minutes for "fast food" isn't ideal lol. Other than that, the food was pretty good. The chicken was hot and crispy, not much flavour tho kinda salty but I enjoy a good crispy sandwich, the sauces added on the sandwich make up for the lack of flavour in the chicken lol. The fries were thick cut and seemed to be made fresh, they give a decent serving size of fries. I remember ordering for delivery from here as well and the wait time was also extremely long I think we waited almost 2 hours for our order. Anyway both times I've eaten from here have been enjoyable. They have indoor and outdoor seating here which is nice.

Was in the neighborhood. Looked at the reviews and was not disappointed. It was crispy and not oily. Tried both the original and the spicy fried chicken and a Gabbar Burger. The spicy chicken was a bit of a twist with the spice - not quite the normal spicy chicken you would get elsewhere which is nice. On top of it all the worker was very kind even when she was extremely busy with customers both in-store and via the drive thru. Check it out.

After seeing an interview about how Chicken World came to be I had been wanting to try and finally got the chance today. We went to the 96th Ave. Surrey location shortly after opening. After ordering we were told it would be ready in 15 min. which is fine as I’d rather not have chicken sitting under a heat lamp waiting. We ordered the 15 pce (reg) Chicken Family Bucket, subbed in Peri Fries ($0.50 extra) and Coleslaw ($41.49 total), plus a 3 pce meal ($10.99 total after the extra charge for Peri Fries) for a friend. The Peri Fries are very tasty and prepared well, coleslaw is homestyle also very good and the large pieces of chicken are beautifully crispy without being greasy or salty. My only disappointment is that out of 15 pieces, 8 were drumsticks and no wings. I will ask for a better selection next time. Service was fine. Located in a strip mall with lots of other stores and ample parking.

Tried their Wednesday special Billo Burger and 2pc fried chicken meal deal, burger was tasty having a full piece of breast fillet in it, spicy wasn't be too spicy but really good, fried chicken was good too. Am only disappointed with their fries they are too crispy and dry.nice and clean environment

A must try place for Halal Chicken, specially the Peri Peri chicken with Arabian Rice. They have spicy option and the chicken are delicious. My Dine in experience was good. I am sad to say, they served over fried( almost burned) chicken fry for take away. Hope it's a one time incident. They also have burgers, french fries, Wedges, gravy, fountain drinks. It's a small cozy place, always busy with serving delicious comfort foods.

Just wow!!!!!!! One of the best fried chicken places in Northern American region. Loved their spicy peri peri grilled chicken. The fried chicken pieces were also on point, but the gabbar burger (zinger burger) is the best!!! Highly recommended

The wings they gave in take out food were so bad. They were extra small and did not look like chicken wings at all. To make it worse their service was not at all friendly.

I had a mixed experience, but overall it was very good, due to the food. The good: The regular double chicken sandwich with cheese is AMAZING. It was flavourful, succulent, crispy... There was a little bit too much mayo, but that can be scrapped off. This was one of the best chicken burgers I've ever had. The worker was very nice and friendly. The bad: Service was super slow. I did not order in advance, but it still took about 25-30 minutes, and I only ordered 2 burgers! I'm very patient, but this was a bit much. The service and general feel of the space was poor/below average, but the chicken was so good it can be forgiven in my books. I would definitely go back, but not when in a hurry.

I've been getting chicken burgers from this location for many years, but unfortunately the quality has deterioted significantly throughout the years. As much has the chicken burgers are priced the quality and quantity of chicken is quite unreasonable. Couple of years back the portion sizes were bigger as well, but unfortunately my favourite fried chicken joint isn't the same anymore. The customer service from the employees has also been way below satisfactory my last few visits. One of the manager's was extremely rude to one of my family member's.

We ordered spicy and regular chicken, and I can safely say that their chicken is well-cooked, and the crunchiness of the skin reminds me of Church’s Chicken. I would recommended to anyone to try this place

I've tried the Gabbar Burger, Nashville Billo Burger and Peri-peri Chicken here. All the items I tried were amazing. Gabbar is my favorite burger out of the two I tried, the two chicken patties just work. The Peri-peri Chicken was the biggest surprise out of all the items. It's just as good if not better than Nando's, but with better value! I also have to add that customer service is excellent everytime I've visited. One caveat, it usually takes 10-15 minutes to get your good since they cook fresh to order, just call in if you can't wait. This place is now my favorite lower mainland chicken spot now! Pay them a visit!

Owner perfected the Great chicken taste 🐔and the Chicken is cooked perfectly to the bone. Spicy dark meat is the top option. I am a "Al-Baik" fan however with no Al-Baik around, Chicken World has made a good mark on the Lower mainland, Vancouver and now Victoria.

Food and service was absolutely wonderful. Raman did a great job and made sure all of us were taken care of. Your restaurant should happy to have such beautiful and caring woman serving your customers. She had the prettiest ocean blue eyes I’ve ever seen! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice meal. Cheers!
