It's
the
place
my
husband
has
been
going
to
since
he
was
a
child,
so
for
about
20
years.
It's
his
family
favorite
and
we
had
to
visit
it
during
our
visit
to
Canada.
I
ordered
a
miso
soup,
a
couple
of
tobiko
nigiris,
appetizer
tempura,
and
toro
sashimi.
My
husband
ordered
a
miso
as
well,
sunomono,
and
a
chicken
teriyaki
donburi.
The
food
was
good,
fresh.
My
husband
liked
sunomono
a
lot,
I
like
everything
I
ordered.
Shrimp
tempura
was
crisp
and
batter
was
thin,
so
food
quality
is
around
4-5
stars.
The
reason
I
gave
3
stars
is
service
issues
we
experienced
and
a
bit
high
pricing.
Toro
sashimi
was
$18
for
7
thin
slices,
rolls
and
nigiri
pieces
are
priced
on
the
upper
end
for
this
type
of
food.
Portions
are
in
general
smaller
than
in
other
sushi
restaurants
we've
been
to
in
Vancouver
area.
It
seems
like
our
bill
does
not
reflect
the
amount
of
food
we
ordered.
As
for
service,
we
were
not
offered
any
drinks
upon
arrival,
so
when
ordering
we
asked
for
tea
and
it
was
not
refilled
until
we
got
a
bill
and
asked
for
a
refill.
The
place
is
pretty
cold,
probably
AC
is
running
too
high
-
it
may
be
a
good
idea
to
get
a
sweater
if
you
want
to
dine
in.
Another
issue
with
service
was
the
food
prep
time.
Chicken
teriyaki
donburi
took
about
35
minutes
to
make
and
by
the
time
it
was
served
to
my
husband
I've
already
finished
all
my
food
and
he's
been
done
with
his
appetizers
for
about
20
minutes.
It
would
be
great
if
food
prep
times
were
a
bit
more
coordinated.
Overall,
the
place
is
nice.
Food
quality
is
consistent.
They
have
individual
rooms
and
ordinary
tables.
We'll
probably
be
back
here
again
to
capture
some
childhood
memories
:)
Oh,
and
sorry
there
are
almost
no
photos.
We
both
were
really
really
hungry.
