I have been going to CMUC for some time now, after several decades of not attending church. I discovered them when attending an Easter service with a friend, and I really like the theology, worship and community. Most importantly for me, all are welcome, and you are encouraged to question and think for yourself. Also the music is great, ranging from traditional to gospel to contemporary. I am looking forward to the return of the choir after covid; in the meantime, I enjoy CMUC's excellent live streaming, one of the best around I think.

This church is full of real people with big hearts. I wasn't familiar with the United Church when I decided to stop by for a Sunday service and I felt immediately at home. Authenticity, social justice, and strong community support are clearly valued and honored. I've been a part of this community for 4 years now and I'm super grateful.

CMUC is a place of incredible nourishment and connection. And the music feeds my soul!!! It is the one place I've found to date, that integrates my yearning for meaningful spiritual connection, centred in a compassionate, inclusive, progressive theology. This open-minded and open-hearted community is what our world needs and what I need. There are so many options for engagement. Love yourself enough to check it out and see what might be a fitting first step for you. xo

Canadian Memorial has been my community of faith for the last 18 years. Through COVID, we quickly adapted to live streaming so we could continue to support and grow in our faith. Rev. Beth Hayward creates sermons that inspire and resonant in our current environmental and cultural reality as progressive Christians. Our questions and doubts are welcomed and held without judgement. I feel blessed to be part of such an authentic and heart- centred congregation.

This is church like you have not experienced before probably. The music is incredible with a band as well as choir that rocks, and a minister that tells it like it is. This is truly an all-inclusive Church. You must check it out if you like gospel music and one truth are told.

They shouldn’t bring politics in a church.
