I
have
been
attending
personal
training
classes
at
IF
Port
Moody
now
for
4
months.
I
enrolled
in
their
"No
Excuses"
package,
which
included
3
months
of
classes,
3
times
per
week,
and
their
Beyond
Nutrition
coaching
for
the
duration
as
well.
Since
I
completed
that,
I
re-upped
for
another
3
month
program
at
twice
a
week,
due
to
the
cost
(see
below).
Their
process
is
pretty
clear
to
see,
you
do
a
fitness
assessment
at
the
start
to
give
them
a
baseline
of
where
you're
at,
and
they
design
a
personalized
program
for
you.
You
probably
won't
work
with
the
same
coach
at
each
of
your
weekly
sessions,
but
they
all
work
off
the
same
program
and
it
can
be
refreshing
to
work
with
different
coaches.
They
all
have
a
bit
of
a
different
style,
but
for
sure
all
the
coaches
that
I've
worked
with
at
IF
(including
substitutes
for
vacations/sick
days)
are
knowledgeable,
skilled,
friendly,
and
professional.
I
started
at
IF
because
I
felt
like
my
health
and
fitness
were
getting
away
from
me,
and
I
am
an
expecting
father
that
didn't
want
my
child
to
know
me
to
have
a
typical
"dad
bod."
I
will
be
honest,
I
actually
have
not
lost
any
weight
on
the
scale
since
I
started,
but
I've
lost
7%
body
fat,
I'm
down
a
pant
size,
and
I'm
certainly
far
stronger
and
more
well-built
than
when
I
started.
People
that
know
me
have
commented
for
sure,
and
all
my
clothes
fit
me
better
(except
the
ones
that
are
too
big
now!)
I
am
turning
fat
into
muscle,
and
despite
my
goal
being
to
lose
weight,
I
find
I
am
not
at
all
concerned
with
it
given
my
progress
and
current
state.
The
workouts
aside,
I
really
did
not
expect
the
Beyond
Nutrition
portion
of
the
package
I
purchased
to
have
such
a
profound
affect
on
my
lifestyle
in
general.
When
I
did
my
original
consultation
with
Jessica
I
kind
of
felt
like
it
was
just
a
throw-in,
but
that
just
could
not
be
further
from
the
case.
Ashlee,
my
nutrition
coach,
was
absolutely
incredible.
She
took
the
info
from
my
fitness
assessment
and
designed
a
whole
nutritional
strategy
based
on
my
body's
state
at
the
time,
the
type
of
workouts
I
would
be
having,
my
food
tastes
and
preferences,
and
my
life
situation
(busy-ness,
ability
to
meal
prep,
etc.)
We
spoke
on
Zoom
once
a
week,
where
she
would
educate
me
on
proper
nutrition,
review
my
progress
by
consulting
the
notes
my
training
coaches
were
keeping,
and
just
chat
about
the
changing
perspective
I
had
on
my
health
and
fitness.
She
would
also
check
in
with
me
via
text
or
email
at
least
once
a
week,
sometimes
more
often,
keeping
me
honest
and
holding
me
accountable.
Truly,
it's
almost
a
misnomer
to
call
her
a
nutritional
coach.
She
was
more
like
a
lifestyle
coach
for
me.
Don't
sleep
on
this
program
if
you're
considering
Innovative
Fitness
to
help
you
reach
your
health
and
fitness
goals.
Like
any
fitness
program,
you
will
only
get
out
of
it
what
you're
willing
to
put
in.
I
registered
for
personal
training
because
I
didn't
think
a
normal
gym
membership
would
keep
me
honest,
I
didn't
think
I
would
prioritize
going
to
the
gym
if
I
was
relying
on
my
own
motivation.
Having
a
trainer
that
I
knew
was
waiting
for
me
and
that
would
charge
me
whether
or
not
I
showed
up
really
motivated
me
to
go,
and
all
my
sessions
are
at
6AM.
It
feels
amazing
to
start
the
day
with
a
heavy
workout,
and
I
now
find
my
body
craves
it
the
day
before
my
sessions.
Even
in
the
middle
of
my
workouts
I
feel
fantastic,
the
endorphins
are
pumping
and
I'm
dripping
sweat
and
my
body
loves
actually
doing
what
it's
designed
to
do.
This
brings
me
to
my
final
point,
and
that's
just
the
acknowledgement
of
the
expense
of
this
program.
It's
damn
steep.
But,
I'm
reminded
of
the
good/fast/cheap
triangle.
Pick
2.
In
this
case,
there's
not
a
doubt
in
my
mind
that
the
cost
is
indicative
of
the
quality
of
the
service,
and
I
feel
like
I'm
seeing
results
much
quicker
than
I
might
have
if
I
was
going
to
the
gym
on
my
own.
Check
out
IF
Port
Moody,
do
a
few
sessions,
and
you'll
see
what
the
hype
is
about.
They're
consummate
professionals.
And
DO
NOT
sleep
on
the
Beyond
Nutrition
program,
as
they
say,
abs
are
made
in
the
kitchen.
