I got the Barbacoa (pulled beef) burrito and it was amazing!!! Great value as it was HUGE, and it was piping hot so I could tell it was just freshly prepared. Couldn’t finish it in one sitting but even as leftovers it was so good! Although it has been “urbanized”, the way the meat is cooked and the flavours are both authentically Mexican. Great friendly service as well... will definitely be coming back.

Burrito, horchata and 4 tacos. The horchata tasted too mild and was missing the creamy texture. The burrito was all rice and beans and there was 0 meat, disappointing. The tacos tasted messed up.. there was something so odd about them; they tasted like cleaner. Hot sauces were the only decent part.

The food here is amazing! I have had the chipotle vegetables in tacos and a burrito bowl and they are so full of flavour. Also the tortilla soup is just spicy enough and so authentic. 10/10 would recommend

Very good food! Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. You have to try the special drink if you are sick of soda. It is made with Coconut Milk and it is so good! We tried just about everything on the menu and the only complaint we could have is that the servings are huge!! We were so full! If you want Real Mexican You will love it here!

I came here to eat outside food once in a while of course and plus it was Friday why not make it a cheat day! I ordered a burrito combo which came with salsa, tortilla chips, and a fountain drink. When I digged into the burrito, it was just tasting not fresh at all and didn’t have the ingredients I was desiring. So when anybody decides to order a burrito from this restaurant, do not forget to ask the cashier what is in the actual burrito.

Got all six tacos on the menu, nothing dissapointed. Probably the best meat I've found this side of the border, and great salsa selection . Super friendly staff too

Had a steak burrito. Fell apart. Guy serving told me it’s because I didn’t get beans and rice. Like I’ve never order this before in my life. Steak was Dry. Burrito wasn’t even folded properly. Didn’t get my guacamole inside brought it back they put the guacamole at the bottom of the burrito. Won’t be returning. Mucho Burrito is much better

The pandemic madness has really hit IKEA. They discontinued breakfast. They discontinued thre cinnamon rolls. They doubled the prices. And to add insult to injury... they've reduced the portion sizes to less than one half of what it used to be. Now you can buy a sample sized soup in a paper cup for $3.49. It is five spoonfuls big. Same paper cup salad costs the same and listen to this: if you mix the coleslaw with the green salad in the same cup... the girl will charge you $6.98. Simply unbelievable. This restaurant used to be a customer service thing. Now it is a profit centre. Soft icecream cone is now $2.

You really can't go wrong with IKEA food. It's cheap, filling and tastes pretty good. This is our treat whenever we go shopping here.

The establishment is always nice and clean. We go for when we need things around the house. Much cheaper and higher quality things than found elsewhere. We also go for the food. The food is great! There are always wonderful vegan options and they are not afraid of big portion sizes! You can order extras if you wish (we do). Now they have vegan chocolate pudding/cake! Even better for that quick date night dinner if you're rushed for time. Highly recommend.

I had fish and chips, a great price and they tasted great. The protocols for covid were very good with lots of people to clean. The tables have plexiglas separation, it all looks very good. So, I felt safe, ate well, and all for a good price. The lineup was about 6 or 8 people but went quickly.

A tasty quick bite to eat that isn't too expensive. A number of options.

  • 5/5 Dandy L. 3 years ago on Google
During social distancing, staff in the restaurant were extra attentive; particularly having to talk and listen through full-size plexiglass panels as well as their own face masks. Selection may be temporarily lessened but were still sufficient for choice. Staff were patient and helpful to direct and maintain flow to cashiers and provide pre-packaged utensils, condiments and lids. Full-size plexiglass divided between tables add to social distancing while one-ways maintained into and out of restaurant with hand sanitizers readily available.

We came here just after they opened and it was AMAZING. We came for the second time yesterday and it was completely different. The chicken and steak in our tacos was so incredibly dry, I can only guess that it must have been very old. Maybethey're trying to save money after covid, but I'm not sure we'd risk going here again, I'm not the type to bring my food back and complain. I feel bad for business owners in this time.

Hostess was friendly and informative since we were trying Los TaKos for the 1st time. We ordered 2 Horchata, 2 Grilled Steak Burritos, and a side of Tortilla Chips with Pico De Gallo. The Horchata was sweet and creamy. The tortilla chips were thick and crunchy which contrasted nice with the juicy, flavorful and refreshing Pico De Gallo. The Grilled Steak Burritos were fat and messy - absolutely stuffed full of grilled steak, rice, black beans, tomato, lettuce and jalapenos. Great fast food at a great price.

*updated* .... what a rollercoaster. Opening woes had it at 3 star, then they really seemed to put in some effort and food was really good... I dont know if it's COVID related or what - but things have been very poor quality food lately. Very dry, very tough meats, soggy/wet veggies in bowls or burritos, guac is maybe the worst guac I have ever had in my life... what on earth happened. Barbacoa isn't even shredded (Usually a tough half/shredded chunk of fat is what I get) and feels/tastes more like pork which is really odd.. Just.. really sad this place couldve been great. Maybe if we get lucky they will close and we will get a La Taqueria like Brentwood. Alright, so I originally had a 3 star review that I left right at opening - and boy was that a mistake. I went back a handful of times since then... maybe more than that.... because I don't know what went wrong the first time (I think i got the wrong tacos) but the Barbacoa Tacos are so good! Honestly, flavourful and tender, its the perfect taco. On top of this, they have fresh limes, and a variety of incredible fresh sauces (The Killer so spicy, but the best tasting sauce I have ever had in my life.) It's a great place to get a quick, fresh meal in the mall, and beats all the other options IMO. If I had to give 1 criticism, it would be the same as in my first review. They desperately need to grill the corn tortillas for 10-20 seconds on some high heat before making the tacos - that way they won't dissolve with sauce while you eat.

Food is pretty flavorful, had the tacos, torta, burrito. the chicken is always good but the beef sometimes very dry. Horchata can be hit or miss sometimes great othertimes like today tasted very watered down.

This place used to be bomb. Stopped in today for first time in 6 months. Price has gone up and quality has gone down. Burritos blow apart and are dry af.

My favourite tacos in Greater Vancouver, and we know tacos. People posting bad reviews: Taco Bell is just across, if you can't find your way around the mall, you shouldn't post reviews about things you don't understand. So lucky to have these guys close to where we live.

  • 5/5 Cecilia T. 4 years ago on Google
We had lunch at the Walnut Grove location today. We were told the tortilla soup was to die for and it was excellent. Tasted home made and the tortilla chips on top were so fresh and a nice spice heat in the soup. We ordered a few different items and all food was fresh and tasty and real honest food, not processed crapolla. One solitary cook/server working by himself at a busy lunch hour. (Amrit) He really showed grace under fire! (Some staff didn't come in) He was most gracious and helpful. We will really go back and the churros with glaze are outrageously delicious.

Disgusting. Probably one of the worst burrito bowls I have ever had. The chicken was almost impossible to eat. Gross dry dark drumstick meat that was disgusting and ultra cheap quality. Will never go back.

  • 4/5 Afreen J. 4 years ago on Google
Not the best mexican food but it's ok for a quick bite. I think it might've been because it was delivery and the food lost its crispness. The condiments were good.

  • 1/5 Camille N. 4 years ago on Google
Service was terrible! I asked for the burrito bowl with no sour cream, no jalepinos, no pico. It came with sour cream. When I asked them to remake it, it came with no sour cream but now it had jalepinos and pico. When I asked them to remake it again. They literally scraped off the ingredients I didn’t want and gave the same one back to me. I was shocked at how this was handled! Very disappointed and frustrated customer! Will not eat here again and would not recommend to anyone!

Just ordered a Burrito in Coquitlam center, I would say the worst I ever had. Smelly, not fresh ingredients, after the first bit the rest went to trash. Gave the feedback to the person behind the counter, doesn’t seem to care that much. First and last purchase

The food was okay. Not amazing, not bad. My complaint is about the Horchata. I’m a big horchata fan and when I see it on a menu anywhere I’m always ordering it. Horchata is, literally in its essence, supposed to be a grain based beverage. It’s usually rice milk. I am super lactose intolerant, so that’s part of the reason I get so excited about horchata. Sweet, cinnamony rice milk! Great! So I had a sip and I thought ‘wow this is delicious and so....creamy....?’ When I realized I had that mouth-coating, tangy aftertaste of dairy, I was like hold on a sec! So I go up and ask the girl what’s in the horchata. The first thing she said was “normal milk”....I told her that’s not how horchata is supposed to be made. I’ve never had a dairy-based horchata before. She apologized and had me write down my name and number on a card. Never got a call.

  • 4/5 Denny F. 4 years ago on Google
Really good, but a little on the pricy sided. It's really fresh tasting, way better than going to a taco bell or taco del mar obviously! but it is a little pricy, one mini churro is 3$! Overall is really good though

  • 2/5 Taylor M. 5 years ago on Google
The name of the restaurant implies tacos but when I got my tacos the meat was very dry and I see on their review replies they push other unhappy customers toward their burrito bowl instead of just trying to correct their mistakes..? The rest of the meal would be perfect if not overcooked.

  • 5/5 Donna W. 5 years ago on Google
Me gusta todo! I am always on the hunt for good Mexican street food, and though I've found some great tasting food in general, none had that particular flair of a late-night street taco purchased from a family cooking on the side of the road. None until now, that is. Loz Tacos, in Coquitlam Center has exactly the food I've been searching for! 4 tacos de pollo (muy sabrosa) and a glass of ice cold jamaica juice, combined with the pleasant Latino music, and my soul is so much closer to the joy I feel in the warmth of Mexico. Good job, Loz Tacos, and !muchas gracias!

Very minimalistic, just few choices but very good for the people who want to try vegan food. The great view from big windows but tables need to be kept cleaner. Some prices are reasonable but some are not. Personally I didn't like soup but for the other vegan dishes it was completely acceptable.

We ordered veggies and salmon at the IKEA restaurant, first time and last time to eat here, food is not very good. Seems to be old not fresh, just overly heated food. We saw people leaving their full plates behind. We realized our expectations couldn’t be high coming here but the food did not taste at good at all. IKEA Please do yourself a favor and hire another chef!

Bang for buck 5/5 you can’t ask for much more from IKEA’s restaurant or cafe. The veggie dogs were delicious and the coffee was piping hot and decent tasting for a non coffee house/roaster. The only thing to note is the frozen yogurt 🍦 definitely tastes more just like a plain vanilla cone. Personally I didn’t mind it at all but a friend of mine who is an avid frozen yogurt lover was severely disappointed.

  • 2/5 leo n. 2 years ago on Google
They don't offer breakfast anymore. The coffee used to be so good. Now it's very watery and the cup is 1/2 previous size. Maybe for an espresso? The highlight was that they let a pair of crows build their nest outside of the glass of the restaurant, that was very entertaining. In general this restaurant used to be a great place to come for breakfast/ brunch over the weekend.... not anymore =(

Ikea is the coolest place to visit and all of their furniture is really easy and simple to assemble yourself also they have an option to pay someone else to assemble your furniture for you if you're just not really into it or Don't have the time. Unlimited money they make; just a little inflation; increased price of soup and reduced the side of cup; replaced ceramic cup to a small size paper cup; you want to save from our some soup my dear? also when asked to replace fries with veges in fish and chips refused on face!

We went on the raining weekend so pretty crowded but foods were good as always. Simple and delicious for us. Just would be nice to always have a staff to check and clean the washroom which really dirty and messy. Even just clean all the paper towels and toilet paper on the floor will look better. It was really busy I understood but then check a bit frequently then usual would be nice. So I know next time, never go on the raining weekend.. :-D

The Ikea restaurant is a solid lunch choice, serving sizes are reasonable, and it doesn't break the bank to feed the whole family. I tried the poutine for the first time and it was excellent. This pic was not our lunch. It was the cute way they're presenting food in their kitchen mock-ups (cardboard photo cutouts).

One of my favourite to-go places. Food never gets boring and is on the cheaper side yet still tasty. I usually get the Swedish Meatballs, a Haddock & Chips to go, maybe a dessert, and a coffee (free with IKEA family card). If I'm still feeling hungry, I stop by the bistro downstairs and get a veggie hotdog combo with a drink for around $1-$2. I like to combine the Nordic lemon fruit water and sparkling pear drink. Refills are also free.

  • 3/5 dazz y. 1 year ago on Google
This is like your typical IKEA restaurant experience. It's nothing different from IKEA Richmond. There are some vegan options, like the veggie balls and the vegan cake, but that's it. There's not much variety here. Though I would recommend any of the non-vegan desserts!

  • 5/5 Charmaine F. 10 months ago on Google
Cheap food that is pretty good in general! I don't think you can even get anything less than 2 dollars at dollar store anymore but their hot dog was $1 before tax! Their slaw is pretty slay! One thing is that both the coffee and tea and soda machine were broken that day we went.

  • 5/5 Daniel G. 10 months ago on Google

it's been a while #swedishmeatballs must have been hungry because don't remember it being so #deliciousandwholesome 8-piece Swedish Meatballs, with mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, Swedish cream sauce and lingonberry $8.49 also ordered #veggieballs and #plantbasedballs the difference plant balls are entirely vegan and unlike Ikea's veggie balls, they have been designed to replicate the flavour and appearance of real meat I didn't know that ... but all tasted great only sad no more baby food and plastic reusable cutlery for toddlers

IKEA’s restaurant used have really good, low priced breakfast meals. It has gone way down in terms of food and quality of service. There’s no more mayo or vinegar in the condiments- this wierd coz at the lower level take out, they have mayo sachets; you can’t get butter for the pancakes and fruit plate -unbelievable! They plate your meal like it’s a school cafeteria- my kid commented their school cook served way better…lol. The breakfast meals’ price went up through the years but even the service was bad. Even the cashier gives you the stink eye if you get a refilll the pancake syrup from the gallon dispenser. Can’t complain about lunch and dinner - no change in past years.
