My friend recommended me about this place. I couldn't justify going to New West to get oshi sushi.. But sure enough I was wrong. Their oshi sushi was melt in your mouth good. We came here at night for dinner. Difficult spot to find parking so park on the main road and walk through the back. I'd definitely come back!

We ordered two ppl set. The food is delicious and fresh. The price is also reasonable! Will revisit! I revisit this restaurant at 2024 Jan . We ordered two ppl set again. The sashimi is still in high quality and fresh!

Good sushi. Menu has all the standard items you need from a sushi place. Not gourmet or anything but pretty good for what it is. The assorted sashimi was fresh and had a good variety of fish but there was sand on the surf clam. The BC roll was tasty. The fried California roll was average and a big soggy so not crispy on the outside. The scallop and salmon pressed sushi was good but could have had more scallop and salmon to it. The rice to fish ratio was a bit too much rice compared to fish for my liking.

Went looking for somewhere to have fresh sushi and happily found Victoria Sushi. They were delicious and staff were very friendly. Their assorted sashimi was fantastic and everything was excellent. Quick to serve us and the decor was simple and cute!

This qualifies as a hidden gem in an unlikely spot. Victoria sushi is nestled in a small retail space on the ground floor of an apartment building that is within a quiet residential development. There’s no commercial foot traffic so it is definitely a “destination spot.” I’ve been here several times and the food is great. The sushi is fresh and expertly done and rivals many of the top sushi spots in town. However, the best thing is that the prices are a whole lot lower than those fancy places. Check this place out for sure. They have a good menu selection and even tofu soup which is very tasty. My recommendations are the tofu soup and Oshi and Aburi. Worth a return visit. Drop me a comment or a like, if you found this helpful.

Cute neighborhood sushi place, good value for its price, nothing fancy but gets the job done when you crave sushi. Service is pretty good!

A hidden gem in New Westminster. I really enjoyed the area this restaurant is in and if you wanted take out, you could sit down with a view of Surrey. The staff were very friendly and the food had a very fresh and savoury taste. Worth checking out!

So good! Highly recommend any of their saba dishes, and their aburi Tobiko roll is a must have. Saba was fresh and tasted very good with their miso dressing. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful, overall great service and yummy food. It's a smaller restaurant in the base of an apartment building so it might be harder to find, parking is limited

It's a neighbourhood sushi restaurant owned by Korean. Went there on a Friday around 7pm, quite busy, food serve slow. Server was friendly. The price is reasonable, oshi sushi come with 6 pieces and they are delish. My favorite is salmon oshi. However, The fried food need some improvement.

It's been a number of years since I last visited this hidden gem. Back in the day, they were known for their not-so-secret off-menu items. Things have changed a bit over time and I noticed they list some of their special menu items now like their "spoon". On this visit, I tried their Appetizer Aburi Sushi combo which consisted of shrimp, tuna, salmon belly, hamachi ,wild salmon, toro, mackerel, unagi, and egg. The nigiri didn't disappoint. If you're in the neighborhood, this little spot is a nice option.

I go here since when they first opened. It was my favorite one not only bc it is close to my place but also they are tasty. But as time passes, disappointed... and disappointed. Sometimes teriyaki is not fully cooked, sometimes sushi was not very fresh, sometimes their rice is not fully cooked.. always something is missing. I stopped go here now but still willing to try again. Hopefully when i try next time, it is better!!

There were some annoying flies hovering around during our dinner. The menu descriptions didn’t quite match what I received but the service was 5 ⭐️.

They recently reduced their prices, and at $17, their spicy salmon donburi (for which they gave quite a bit) was a bargain. Will go again

Our go-to neighborhood sushi. The regular roles aren't great but always love their sashimi and nigiri! Special roles are decent. The more expensive dishes are definitely better quality here, so might have to splurge sometime

Ordered the CSA (cucumber salmon avocado) $13.95 sashimi for pick up….this is what I received…how is this sashimi? I poked around after taking the photo and it’s 5 very tiny pieces of salmon and avocado wrapped in a ton of cucumber skin. Supremely disappointed in what I received vs what I paid for. Sashimi where???
