DON’T BOOK THIS PLACE!!!!! I had one of the worst experiences ever. We checked pictures of the house online and the interior and decoration were good. So we thought, it might be a good place to spend a night. They took our deposit and called us back, saying we don’t have a room now. And they switched us to Kim’s site. Then, they don’t even let you enter the lobby unless you pay them in full. If you look at the house interior and the decor, it’s beautiful until you go into the room and grab a towel, and it’s dirty, gross like someone puked on the towels. And the bedsheets were full of hair and lint 🤢🤮. (CHECKOUT THE PICTURES ATTACHED) When we called the cleaning lady and asked her to come and clean the room- she said I don’t have wings to fly, and it would take more than an hour. We couldn’t even spend the whole night in the room because my husband and I kept sneezing from the gross bedsheets and left around 2:30 am in the morning!!!!! I am repeating- Don’t choose them just because they have beautiful interiors. When you look closer, they are the WORST and Most UNHYGIENIC 🤮🤢

The location is good and parking available on the street. The house is nice and clean. However, our room had rust in the shower and stains in the carpet that could have been steam cleaned. The bed is okay but not that comfortable. We felt the sheets were not freshly cleaned, so as a suggestion, we would recommend having the sheets and pillowcases separate so we could make the bed. There is a separate shelf in the fridge for every room and a separate cupboard for the storing of food. We felt confused as there is cleaning charged when booking and yet there were signs in the room saying "Please clean up after yourself when leaving." Either we are paying a cleaning fee or we are not. The internet service was available and fast. We had planned to do a laundry at this place. However, upon arrival we found that it was $2.50 per wash and the dryer was not working very well and we had to go to the laundry mat down the street. There was no mention of this in the ad. We tried to check in an hour earlier at 2 pm and we were told if we left a 5 star review they would accommodate us. We felt uncomfortable with this as we had not stayed there yet. So please be careful of some of the 5 star review you are reading. Having said everything we said, the home owner is very responsive via text message.

I stayed at this place for 11 days after paying a substantial amount. Here are my experiences: Pros: 1. The room was spacious. 2. The common area was clean. 3. There was high-speed internet. 4. Coffee and tea maker were available. 5. There was a shared kitchen where you could cook. Cons: 1. The check-in time was 3 PM. I arrived a little early and requested an early check-in from Kim. Initially, he asked me to book an additional day and then requested an extra $50. When I refused to pay, he asked me to give a 5-star rating on Google review and send him a screenshot for confirmation. I hadn't even seen the place or experienced the quality of services provided, so it's evident that any 5-star ratings you see might be false reviews. Don't be deceived by high ratings. 2. I booked a room based on the photos on Airbnb, but the actual room was different. 3. The Airbnb listing mentioned that air conditioning and heating were available, but you can’t use get them as per your requirement. 4. The listing also mentioned laundry as an amenity, but you have to pay $2.5 to use it. 5. Most of the amenities mentioned in the Airbnb listing were either unavailable or had additional charges. Please note that these are my personal experiences during my stay.

We just enjoyed a weekend honeymoon stay in room 308. It was such a blessed experience. Clean spacious elegant room. Bathroom was very large and had a great shower. Everything about this hotel was above our expectations and we would recommend others to stay here. Thanks Kim! Peace

This place is amazing! Very clean, spacious, beautiful and organized! They had great quality wifi, Netflix, etc. We requested an extra matress, which we received less than 1 hour after we arrived. They also reserve a cabinet and some space in the fridge which I really appreciate. Had all the comforts of a regular home. Would definitely recommend!

We paid for 5 days at $571 through booking.com, and 1 week before we arrive, they increased the rate to $1100. We refused to pay that price and they cancelled on us. We had no place to go. They even asked for $100 security deposit a month in advance. Such a scam!!!

I have stayed over there for almost a week. No one came for cleaning in the whole week. There were spiders in the room. Even no extra bed sheet was there so that we can change. I don’t understand why they charge us for cleaning on booking. It is okay if we are staying for one or two days but if anyone staying longer , there must be a person who take care of cleaning and everything. I will never stay again. I was worse experience that i even had. I got skin infection because of bed sheet.

I stayed at this place for nearly 2 weeks very recently. Kim is a very nice host, very responsive. Allowed us to check in early as I had a child with me! The property is huge, clean, well maintained, with all necessary amenities. It is very quiet and peaceful more or less throughout the day. Bus stop is just opposite the house; metro, groceries, drug store are at walkable distance. Staff is also very helpful. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Dirty (not cleaned once during my 3-day stay), sticky bathroom floors, bathtub, furniture and bedsheets straight from thrift store, very noisy plumbing, no private washroom. You'll find cheaper, cleaner and better maintained hostels.

Best place for stay. You got all facilities and your personal space. Surrounding is also very quiet and you can feel your self here. I love this place and i will like to stay here in future also.

Was an awesome experience! My hubby and I were in Surrey from out of town and couldn't find a hotel as everything was booked. The host was lovely, met us in a timely fashion. It was clean and was a beautiful property with jacuzzi tub to relax in. It was the perfect accommodations for the night, will stay again if in town again ! Thank you 😊

Very beautiful and clean house, accesible and Kind personel, big rooms, confortable, huge spaces like living and dinning rooms, is a big house with many rooms but it also has lots of kitchens. I Will happily come back

My stay is going to be wonderful ✨ Kim is such a doll. I went to find a 7-11 and promptly got lost.. Kim went and found me and drove me back.The only thing I might say. Is that it is really a bed & breakfast not a hotel. But it's very nice here..Highly recommend..

A very luxurious place to stay considering it is in the heart of wally. They spent nothing short on anything they definitely purchase the best of everything. All rooms seem to come equipped with walk-in washrooms , three-piece bathrooms queen size beds at the very minimum a space to do any desk work if you're here on business.walk in closets and even some of the rooms have claw bathtubs including walking glass showers. Laundry is $5 a load and there is tons of cupoard space for food in both cupboards and fridge if you're planning to do most of your cooking at home. Not so sure this would be a great place to bring a family. But I would definitely consider it to be an awesome place to bring your girlfriend or loved one for a quick weekend getaway or even just for a night for a little r&r. Self check in with easy and flawless and as we walked through the door we were given a tour over the phone by the owner he was very specific about anything important that we needed to know about.. (if you're a smoker we're smoking needs to be done, shoes need to be taken off at the front door, and barbecue is in the backyard and if you're wanting to use it it seems you're more than welcome to. The rates are extremely reasonable and the owner of the home is an extremely pleasant man who is as accommodating as possible. The cleaner is lovely she's got a great spirit to her and you can tell that she really takes pride in the cleanliness of her home and her job. Definitely a five-star in my opinion compared to any hotel around( never been to the Civic so don't quote me on that bracket. But super Central close to Transit groceries shopping SkyTrain everything is close by you couldn't ask for much more I highly suggest you try it out just for a weekend a night or even just to get away

I was surprised it was so spacious. You feel like you live in a mansion. Kitchen and living room is all class. Tile floors. Met other guests here, very friendly.

The room was great, very clean and modern. The bed was very comfy and Kim is very helpful in what you need. The apartment is centre located and we had access to everything that we needed during our stay, I recommend it to everyone.

We had great stay here for 2 days, only water and coffee is available here. Manager and owner were nice. This apartment has 5-6 rooms with 2 kitchen and two big dining areas. lawns & backyard is also there. Surrey eat street is also not so far from this airbnb, u can go by uber easily (late night also).

Highly recommend this place to anyone, it's beautiful it is tidy and clean, the host is the best they care and love their clients. They are beyond fair in prices and everything I stayed for a lengthy period and will recommend this always I am a returning client . The last time I had to leave early and they were kind enough to refund my deposit. I beg to differ with some of the rude reviews... this place is wonderful wonderful spot. Has air conditioning . A beautiful kitchen and two living rooms on main floor . They care for there yard. And it's not their responsibility to clean everything after us . We as adults should have enough dignity and respect to clean and tidy a mess we make for instance if we spill .. clean it up .. Dont leave it for the host to do as that shows little compassion and this place is always tidy I help anywhere I can as there human just like us and lead families and busy life's. So if you pick up after yourself it would neverget spill marks on the floor. Itd absoutley wonderful its as if im in my own home . . It isnt likke many of the b&bs. I stayed sinceJanuary as i need to find a rental. Dpeending on the crowd yyou may here a little noise but it is normal.. you hear some noise everywhere. I love this place they have helped us so much. On multiple occassions. So careful what u believe whwn reading reviews . Kim you guys go above n beyond 5 stars all the way and would recommned 2 anyone looking for a b&b

Hotel is really nice and big. Managers and staff are nice and accomodating. Really nice place to go if you need some peace and quiet. Was nice to have a kitchen to cook your own meals. Bed could've been a little more softer.

Our room was dirty and definitely not cleaned before we arrived. They charge $ 49 for cleaning, but clearing it's not getting done. Other guests kept us up until 1 am.. Definitely wasn't worth the money.

It was walking distance to some tourist attractions, and it was close to many metros to get you to the ones further away. This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Surrey.

Both host and place were very good, host was flexible with check in time. He also gave us a bigger room. It was a clean and very big house and host has maintained it very well, if someone is looking for a private room then we would recommend to go for this option. Transit and Skytrain stations are very near.

Great place and very clean. All utilities available while the owner is also fast in replying to the queries. The rooms are beautiful. A secured and a comfy place to stay.

Room was so clean that I can't even touch. That was good point. 1. But there are no person in charge at home for 4 days, so when we need something it was aweful even for a simple thing like a towel. 2. Especially when we check out, we were ready by 10 but we couldn't get our deposit back until 10:40. And first thing the woman came and said was 'where is remote control?' I think they should have come at 10 or at least told the time when she come with sorry! Maybe don't know apology 3. The first day, before we check in, we arrived early with so many luggages, so we asked for waiting room at living room. The thing that we couldn't stay there was acceptable( cause it's the rule of the house) but they texted us quite rude kept saying we have to pay $30. 4. When you check in there will be no explanation of anything about the house except you should pay deposit. Again, room was so clean but! that's all. How can my mood be so terrible with such a clean room ?

After seeing photos and reviews of Kim's House, I decided to stay there for one night. But the blanket in the room looked like it hadn't been washed, and the pillow had a smell. The bathroom was dirty, and the towels smelled like they hadn't been dried properly, so I gave up taking a shower. There was dust and hair lying around under the bed. I never came back here.
