Such a lovely welcome when I entered the restaurant. The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job presenting the menu. The Eggs Benedict was very flavourful. Perfect for anyone who loves Beef Teriyaki. The coffee was fresh and hot. Great place to go if you need to catch up on work alone. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

We went Saturday at around 8:45am to avoid the line and was seated outside in the patio. Small place but very cozy! Our party of three tried the bulgogi eggs benedict and kimchi burrito. The Benedict was probably my favourite I have ever eaten—the bulgogi meat paired so well with the egg, spinach, hollandaise sauce and soft English muffin! Potatoes were nicely prepared and portions were huge, so the slightly higher price point ($18-20) was worth it. The kimchi burrito was also fantastic; it was loaded with egg, kimchi, meat, and jalapeños. Overall would highly recommend if you are in the area. Staff was so friendly and attentive throughout!

The menu boasts an impressive all-day selection, an absolute delight. In my younger days, with friends in tow, I would have indulged in the enticing combination of bulgogi pizza and soju. The establishment exudes a kid-friendly ambiance, catering to a diverse range of preferences. All that's required is a hearty appetite to fully appreciate the generous and flavorful meal portions. Truly, a gastronomic haven for all.

Excellent service. Owned by Koreans and they are super nice! The food was great. I suspect the croissant is from Costco (not sure but certainly taste like it). The hash is a generous proportion for the order. The chef gave us bulgogi because they were nice and ran out of egg bennies. The coffee was bad. Very watered down so wouldn’t recommend ordering coffee here. Togo box costs money which is unfortunate. Highly recommend anyone who wants to experience brunch with a Korean twist.

Great spot for breakfasts and lunch. Much nicer than the cheap diner you might expect from it’s humble exterior. We had the Bulgogi Breakfast Burrito and French Toast. The burrito was excellent, lots of bulgogi, skillfully wrapped, well presented. The French Toast was the perfect example of a simple thing elevated by doing it really well. Very clean, swift personable servers, we will be back. Thank’s Kooks for a nice lunch.

We liked what we had a Kook’s Cooks the last time that we were here, so when we came this morning for breakfast, we ordered exactly the same things again 😁 Too bad the fried chicken with our Waffles and Chicken dish didn’t turn out well as the first time, but everything else was good. I especially like the flavours of the Bulgogi beef with a hint of sweetness in the dumplings and the Benedict ❤️

I'm always on the lookout for new places to eat, especially in my neighborhood. So when I found this place was less than 5 minutes from my house, I decided to check out Kook's Cooks, a family-owned restaurant that serves traditional Canadian brunch with a touch of Korean influence. The place was cozy and inviting, with a friendly staff and a casual atmosphere. The menu was diverse and appealing, featuring dishes like bulgogi beef benedict, kimchi burrito, garlic snowing pizza, and seafood pasta. I ordered the bulgogi beef benedict, which came with excellent potato hash. The dish was delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful, the eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and tangy. The potato hash was crispy and seasoned well. It was a satisfying and hearty meal that hit the spot. Next time, I would order an extra side of hollandaise sauce. I enjoyed my experience at Kook's Cooks. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a quality hidden gem brunch/lunch spot in my area. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was warm and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good brunch spot in Coquitlam, Burnaby, or Port Moody.

Starting with the waffles, I recognized that they were soft, sweet and had a delicate taste and fluffy texture. Chicken: they were juicy, crunchy and tender on the inside. Fruits were fresh, juicy and they had just the perfect ripeness served as a side to the waffles and chicken. Lastly, the dumplings had a savoury and a classic bulgogi beef taste. Service was great, the atmosphere is awesome; I would love to dine here again. Thank you, Kook’s Cooks!

I was in search of a breakfast place and came across this little gem. From the outside, it looks like a small Ma and Pa old school restaurant, which caught my attention. I was greeted by friendly staff who sat me down. I noticed that seating was a bit of an issue and could see wait times when busy. Other than that, the food was amazing and clean. Everything is well put together. I recommend this place and will be a repeat customer.

Went for breakfast on family day. Restaurant was very busy they told us to be about a 20 to 30 minute wait ended up only being 15 minutes before our buzzer went off. Small cozy location very friendly staff and excellent food would return. Only down side is limited parking

Amazing breakfast/brunch spot!! Been meaning to try Kook’s Cook for a while and so glad we finally did! We were there as soon as they opened and when we were waiting for our food, a gentleman came out of the kitchen and gave us a salad to thank us and apologized the food was taking long (but I didn’t think we were waiting long. So sweet of him to do that though☺️☺️) We got the kimchi burrito and the bulgogi benedict. We didn’t leave a single ounce on that plate! Everything was so delicious😍 Will need to come back and try the sweet potato pizza!

I live nearby so I've been many times now. The food is simple but delicious. The garlic snowing pizza is absolutely divine, a must try for sure. Pictured is the BLT which I had today and was fresh and tasty. The wait staff can be hit and miss but never terrible, plus they give you a buzzer button to call if you need something. The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about but the reliably good tasting food is 5 star worthy.

Honestly really upset that they either lied to me on the phone or didn't know their menu items well enough. I called today to ask if the chicken and waffles was made with breast white meat or thigh dark meat. She said the fried chicken is made with chicken breast. I ordered for take out. Got home and the chicken is dark meat. I asked because I hate dark meat. It is fatty and tastes completely different than white meat. So I didn't like the chicken and waffles at all. Which is why I called and asked in the first place.... if your going the make fried chicken with thigh it has dark meat and fat which is fine, but don't tell people it's chicken breast. Waist of time and money! Sadly disappointed!

Date: January 2, 2023 This restaurant is a unique fusion between Korean cuisine and American breakfast classics. I got the Egg White Fritatta while my friend got the Chicken & Waffles. Both were very exceptional! This was a nice reprieve after our hike in Belcarra. Decor is pretty dated and it is a fairly cramped restaurant, but the food and service makes up for it big time.

We had the chicken and waffles and the bulgogi pizza. The waffle was soft and a lil sweet and the fruit was fresh. The chicken was very crispy as well. Our favourite was the pizza. The thin crust really is something and goes well with how the pizza is cooked. The topping was generous and the pizza is what makes me want to come back to try more of the items on the menu.

Fantastic Korean flavour spin on menu items. Loved every moment of being in this peaceful place. We ordered 6 different items, I sampled from everyone's dish and it was all nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you!
