I'm
always
on
the
lookout
for
new
places
to
eat,
especially
in
my
neighborhood.
So
when
I
found
this
place
was
less
than
5
minutes
from
my
house,
I
decided
to
check
out
Kook's
Cooks,
a
family-owned
restaurant
that
serves
traditional
Canadian
brunch
with
a
touch
of
Korean
influence.
The
place
was
cozy
and
inviting,
with
a
friendly
staff
and
a
casual
atmosphere.
The
menu
was
diverse
and
appealing,
featuring
dishes
like
bulgogi
beef
benedict,
kimchi
burrito,
garlic
snowing
pizza,
and
seafood
pasta.
I
ordered
the
bulgogi
beef
benedict,
which
came
with
excellent
potato
hash.
The
dish
was
delicious.
The
beef
was
tender
and
flavorful,
the
eggs
were
perfectly
poached,
and
the
hollandaise
sauce
was
creamy
and
tangy.
The
potato
hash
was
crispy
and
seasoned
well.
It
was
a
satisfying
and
hearty
meal
that
hit
the
spot.
Next
time,
I
would
order
an
extra
side
of
hollandaise
sauce.
I
enjoyed
my
experience
at
Kook's
Cooks.
It
was
a
pleasant
surprise
to
find
such
a
quality
hidden
gem
brunch/lunch
spot
in
my
area.
The
food
was
fresh
and
tasty,
the
service
was
warm
and
attentive,
and
the
prices
were
reasonable.
I
would
definitely
recommend
it
to
anyone
looking
for
a
good
brunch
spot
in
Coquitlam,
Burnaby,
or
Port
Moody.
