Posting this review in hopes that it gets someone's attention because I've exhausted all other routes. I've enjoyed coming to this location but the billing department leaves a lot to be desired. My August 2022 annual visit billing got messed up and I got charged for what should be free blood work. I flagged this to one medical billing in early December 2022 and till this day I'm being ignored for a resolution. They stopped answering my messages and when I called someone told me "we're backed up and we don't know when we will get to it". This is worse than a regular doctors office that doesn't charge an annual concierge fee. For 200 bucks a year your admin processes should be better.

Before signing up I asked at the front desk how availability is generally. The answer was that you can usually get an MD appointment within 3 days. After signing up it turns out, this Park Slope location has 0 (yes actually 0) availability until at least 4 months out. This includes for urgent matters. The only other option in Brooklyn is in Cobble Hill which has no availability in the next 6 weeks either. If someone can explain to me why we’re paying $200 a year for this please let me know. For those who actually want to see their doctor: I strongly recommend finding a primary care doctor outside of One Medical and do something fun for the $200 you’ll be saving. It’s the most misleading and scammy business I’ve encountered in years.

The doctors are good but if you don’t buy the upgraded service for $200/year you can’t use the app. That makes it cumbersome to contact the clinic or schedule appointments. The staff can also be careless. I went in for a Hepatitis B vaccine booster but they had run out. Not a good feeling. It took a month to get stock. Then when I went for the booster, the staff registered me incorrectly so I had to wait 90 minutes for a simple injection.

We singed up because they claimed they had top care and would always have same day appointments. So far, the best I've gotten is maybe 2 weeks out and then I'm lucky if they don't cancel last minute. I can never see the same person twice if I find one I like because it's a revolving door of providers. They will try to send me to a far away office--I chose to go here because there is an office walking distance from home. If I wanted to travel 40+ minutes on the train, I'd stick to my old GP who always gets me in, has limited wait times, and a great staff.

My One Medical experience has been overwhelmingly negative. It is a struggle to perform basic tasks. Messages in their platform don’t get responded to for days. All prescriptions take days BY DEFAULT unless you mark it urgent. No appointments available with your provider except many weeks out. Routinely forget to call you with important test results then have the nerve to say “they have a lot of patients, sometimes the high priority things get missed.” Don’t care, I’ll be taking that $200 back thank you!

Just joined today and trying to book an appointment at this location. I’m looking now 10 months out and there’s still no availability in the app. I even called (and waited on hold for 25min) to verify and they saw the same thing. Why am I paying all this money for nothing?

I also had a ton of scheduling issues. My first appt. was canceled on short notice (less than 24 hours). I could only find nurse and medical assistant appts. Same day or within a week. The one doctor I did manage to schedule a virtual visit was leaving one medical. The nurse I saw at the park slope location is very nice, attentive and caring - it wasn’t the same as a doctors visit. The office is very clean, modern and big - it doesn’t feel like a hospital. I had to ask for notes in my profile and upon checking today, there are only two entries for my blood pressure and HR. Nothing else was noted that occurred in my visit which seems odd. The previous doctors would leave detailed notes. So far I’m not impressed with the service for the additional annual fee. It’s disappointing to see the healthcare system turn worse. There are other practices that provide thorough care and Followup. The cobble hill location appears the have more better reviews, might try that next time. Come prepared with questions.

It is occasionally tricky to find appointments, but if you’re flexible on office location and provider (even just between cobble hill and park slope) you can usually get in same day. Consistently quality care. The nurses and doctors don’t seem rushed nor do they rush me out the door. My questions are well answered and encouraged. I rarely wait more than 5 minutes after I arrive at the office. Finally, being able to message my primary care provider or another doctor who I previously saw is so extremely helpful. Typically saves a wasteful appointment.

Rude and unhelpful staff. Went to get labs done after the one medical doctor said I could walk in to any of their office for it. Apparently this office has no record of the labs order. What a waste of time, no apologies made, and the apathetic attitude of the staff made it even worse.

I've been going to One Medical Group for over 10+ years. They always try to make things work when issues arise. Friendly staff with positive atmosphere. I appreciate the gender pronoun pins that they give out at the front desk. Dr. Carrie Bowler was amazing!

I don’t know why people gave this place 1 star? Super nice interior, great staff. I made a same day appointment for my COVID booster and was in and out in 5 minutes. The practitioner also was super gentle with the shot, which I appreciated.

They are more interested in membership fees than the interest of their patients.. Looking for a new doctor..

I joined this clinic because it was close to where I live during COVID. Service was great initially. Easy to make an appointment. Though providers were a little too generous in wanting me to get prescriptions and referring me for additional care that I wasn’t sure I wanted. But everyone was generally helpful. After two years I moved away from the city and decided not to renew. I told the provider and the desk that I was moving away. However, I continue to get bills from them for the yearly subscription—which I could no longer use, since I had moved away. I can’t get them to stop. Updated: Thanks for your response. These are not marketing emails. These are bills.

Typically a very poor experience. Lab hours aren’t accurate, they don’t check people in properly for labs so often people waiting get passed over and have to wait for awhile. Not worth the yearly fee considering most insurances and other doctors all offer telemedicine now.

Staff is nice but it’s way too hard and too long of a wait to get an appointment. Don’t take new members if you can’t serve us. Most recent ex: they don’t have any more covid boosters.

My experience at the appointments themselves have been positive. Can usually get an appointment at a location (not necessarily my top choice) within 2-3 days and the doctors are helpful and professional. However, the billing department is such a disaster that I'm questioning whether to discontinue the subscription. I was billed for a $35 fee a while back, but there was a glitch in their system that made it such I couldn't post the payment. I emailed their support system for help several times, with no success. Months later, I got a notice that the bill had been sent to a collections agency, so I've now spent several weeks trying to get the issue sorted to avoid problems with my credit score. They have my credit card info on file, and successfully collect my yearly fee, so don't understand why a simple bill payment could have gotten so out of hand (or why they wouldn't call me to try to resolve the problem before sending to collections).

👍👍 Everyone at the office is so nice. Dr. Shelton took his time with me and explained all my options without pushing me into anything. He’s wonderful and I trust his expertise. 😠 I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider. On 3 different occasions I was scheduled at the office and each time I got there, staff notified me that...

😠 First of all, I'm a local this was the second time I went to this place. August 08 at 1:00pm, I did 3 person line and I overheard people were arguing at the front desk. My assumption was that of course front desk had an attitude base from last experience. Shortly, a young lady coming out saying to m...

👍👍 Wonderful clinic. Modern, clean and up to date on all equipment. I see my dentist there (Dr Zara), it has been a great experience, I know I'm in good hands. Staff is courteous as well, from reception to security. Kudos!
