There is no shopping mall here called "Soho". (Take a look at the street view.) There isn't even a NEIGHBORHOOD here called "Soho" - that's down the road, this is Greenwich Village. What people are referring to - as referenced by many of the photos posted - is "The Shops of Soho", 435 Broadway. We've reported this to Google, but Google don't care.

Old NY at its best. Cool architecture, cobblestone streets, boutiques, galleries, eateries.

If you love diverse shopping in a compact place, GO HERE! HUGE options in such a quaint spot. I've been here many times & will go back many more. The vendors are lovely, warm, inviting people and the prices are very reasonable. On my last visit, I bought 9 pieces of jewelry, a Friends & two Tupac tshirts, a tote bag and some holistic well-being patches. I want more items, so I will be back very soon. (And again, after that, and...)

I like to go shopping in SOHO during my holidays. I recently found that the streets are much cleaner and tidier. And there are police patrols at every street corner. Very good, I like this environment very much (๑‒̀ㅂ‒́)و✧

On December 5th, 2022, I visited this facility and was racially profiled by two of the vendors here, who both were caucasian females. While taking a look at some jewelry, I asked the vendor what the prices for the necklaces displayed were and she gave me a look before telling me the prices with a tone implying I didn’t have the funds necessary to purchase the jewelry. What else could she have based that assumption off of, if not my appearance? The second instance of racial profiling I experienced here, on the same day, was when I was viewing some products and the vendor ran to my side in fear of me stealing under the guise of seeing if I needed help. The place is small, yes, but as a black woman you know when an employee is giving you excessive amounts of customer service because they believe you are going to steal something. I was pulled in by the cozy feel of the shop, but left out feeling cold and alienated. I was put under a microscope for no other reason than my race, when all I wanted to do was check out a new store while traveling around SoHo. I advise the workers here to check their internal biases when dealing with a diverse customer base, and for any and all POC and white allies to stop giving this place your business.
