The people here are so rude. I waited 45 mins for a covid test. Got my test and was told I have to wait to see a doctor then I'm good to go. Why?? So you can charge my insurance for an exam. I didn't request to see a doc. Doc comes in and asks how can I help you so I said I don't know I was told I need to see the doctor. She then asked me why did I have an attitude and told me these were their protocols. I explained I was told to wait for her and she rolls her eyes and says well you can just go then this is just our protocols. Completely unwarranted and unprofessional. I am sick and have covid. Just because I said I don't know why I am here waiting for you doesn't give you a reason to accuse me of having an attitude. I am sick and had been waiting over an hour for a simple covid test. You should be trying to help not make money off my insurance. And when I asked for a business card the nurse walked away and didn't come back. I asked someone else and was told they don't have any and she just wrote down the name of the doctor. This place just wants insurance money and absolutely do not care about the people waiting in their waiting room for hours.

Nice, relatively fast and human! Recommended. The personnel has been nice and comprehensive even if I asked to get visited around their closing hour. The doctor examined me carefully, he cared about my concerns and (finally) he had an human approach. I was treated with respect and I am happy about the service.

I had a small scratch on my eye. I walked in with no appointment and was seen by a nurse and a doctor immediately. I received excellent, efficient and professional treatment. Highly recommended.

The front desk lady was very kind and knew that I was not feeling well so expedited things accordingly/ the nurse was very easy to talk too and made me feel comfortable/ everything was super fast and I had a great experience

In and out with no fuss (less than 30 min, which was excellent because I had a train to catch shortly after!). Just a lot of pleasant, kind and competent folks here, starting with the front desk attendant. 10/10 would recommend!

As a tourist needing care I was grateful for their care. Facility was clean, staff was knowledgeable, my insurance was accepted.

Dr. Castellanos was not professional: no info about for the medicine she prescribed, no aftercare, no solution for a potential drug interaction she claimed existed. Very rude and belittling. City MD on 42nd & 9th has much nicer doctors & I strongly suggest that location over 39th & Broadway.

I would give zero start if possible. Dr is nice but the frontdesk lady was being impatient, weird and irresponsible. She asked us sufficient info about the insurance and said we are good to go. Two weeks later, we received a bill with no insurance applied. Called them and waste an hour explaining and matter and eventually it turned out to be a mistake by the frontdesk lady :) Avoid the place if possible.

A retired emergency physician from out of town, I came up COVID positive with symptoms. As a high-risk 77-year-old, I needed Paxlovid, so I went to CityMD because it was near my hotel. The entire experience was very positive, from reception, to evaluation by the PA, to timely prescription and treatment. I highly recommend this location, without reservation.

I'm still not feeling well. I have been prescribed Prednisone which I had been advised by the provider. I have lost 5 days of treatment and after that, I start taking antibiotics. My nose is still bleeding and I have heavy headache.

Amazing clinic. They were so kind, accommodating, and non-judgemental. The clinic was clean, the doctors/nurses were knowledgeable, and the check-in/walk-in process was really simple. Would highly recommend.

Came here after missing appointment with my PCP and they were able to run a full blood scan on me quickly and efficiently. Really appreciate them.

Doctor was nice, service was quick, and after following their instructions, my reson for visiting has almost completely gone away! I am from out of state, and this experience alone has made me want to think about living in NYC.

The billing department here scams people. Go somewhere else.. It’s not worth months of headache. The first red flag is I was supposed to pay a copay for the visit according to my insurance card but the front desk refused to accept my copay (???). After my appointment, they never contacted my insurance at all, and billed me the full amount even though I’ve called my insurance multiple times and they agree the cost is covered by my policy. I paid directly on their site from my personal funds and they’re still claiming I owe more - my insurance company has tried to reach out multiple times to their billing department. It’s been almost a year…

The front desk staff were nice and professional. One employee in the back, Evelyn was far from professional. She was condescending and arrogant. She made me uncomfortable being in the room with her. No bedside manners whatsoever. She made it seem like she was doing ME a favor by taking my vitals or asking me the basic questions. She made me feel like I was bothering her by seeking help in a medical facility. I get we all have jobs to do, but you should be way more professional. Kindness goes a long way. CityMD- make sure you train/hire better staff. Evelyn should not be working with the public. You never know who walked through those doors today.
