Fancy place and of course wicked expensive. It was busy when we came around noon so we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. I ordered the $25 apple cinnamon french toast which came with a really good apple jam. The waiter offered bacon (4 slices) and I wouldn’t have said yes if i knew it was $14 but I enjoyed my meal. My friend had a very different experience. He ordered a $15 fruit bowl which came with watermelon, strawberries, grapefruit and oranges (none of these were sweet), and a $15 cinnamon bun that was clearly old and tasted terrible. My Pillsbury at home is way better. Sent it back and they were nice enough to remove it from the bill. Our seat was by the door so it was pretty cold with people constantly coming in and out. The waterboy was incredibly rude when i asked him where the bathroom was like it was a dumb question but this was my first time here so excuse me. If my food wasn’t so good I would’ve given them a 1/5 just for the mediocre experience. Definitely not worth the money.

OVERPRICED. Truffle fries, calamari and water was $50. The food was nothing special. It tasted as if they were fried for too long that it made the food go dry. Maybe the other dishes are better. Didn't know that a bottle of water would cost us $10. What a rip. The service was nice and it looked very cute and elegant inside, but that was about it.

Totally average place and average experience, but charging absurdly. $24 for one slice of toast with mashed avocado from a bucket? $14 for one glass of orange juice? Neither were even fresh. I’m only a tourist in America but I thought the tipping culture was for good service. All the staff stood around chatting to each other at the front. A person took my order with no fuss and another put the plate down. What’s the tip for? What was this whole $60 breakfast about? Absurd. Will not return.

Sarabeth's, situated just opposite Central Park, combines culinary excellence with a prime location for a brunch experience. The menu features a delightful array of meticulously crafted dishes, creating a symphony of flavors that pleases the palate. The inviting ambiance complements the surrounding elegance, offering the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch. From the first sip of coffee to the last bite of a delectable pastry, Sarabeth's provides a satisfying dining experience, enhanced by views of Central Park. A brunch haven that elevates both cuisine and location, making it a must-visit in the heart of the city. I was pleased to be served by the attentive and courteous Luca M.

We went there for a drink, it was crowded but I had a reservation. We were given a table and ordered our hot chocolate and the waiter insisted for us to order food in the middle of the afternoon. He said we could not just have hot chocolates, but I said to the waitress as we checked in that we were coming for drinks. Then started a fight between the waiters, we were asked to sit at the mini bar with 3 taken seats, so we finished our hot chocolates standing in the entrance when we could have stayed at our table for a couple minutes more. It was ridiculous. Don't stop here, there's tension in between the staff members, the experience is awful. There are empty cans and cups in the hall It's dirty.

This place was absolutely packed at 9:30 on the Saturday morning but we only had to wait about five minutes to be seated. We started with a basket of Popovers and they were not good at all. They were tough and tasteless, but they did come with some delicious jam… Both berry and apricot. The spinach and goat cheese omelette was not like a traditional omelette where the spinach is on the inside, it was all cooked together with a smear of goat cheese on the inside. It wasn’t bad but it definitely wasn’t fabulous. It also came with thin sourdough toast that was both dry and chewy and practically inedible. The Goldilocks scramble pop over was also a disappointment. it had very little locks and was just another pop over on the side. The salmon eggs Benedict was the best choice on the menu, and tasted great. If you think that ordering the apricot sausage is going to get you something new and interesting, that is not the case, you will get some very good sausage piled on top of a puddle of apricot jam. We also ordered a couple of cappuccinos that were tiny but good and an orange juice that was great. Our total came to about $140 before tip and I would not recommend this restaurant. The prices are high end, but the food is not.

The service was outstanding. The food was so delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful and fantastic. Their popovers are so good ! Crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. I recommend buying their marmalade by the jar. You won’t regret it.

The salmon eggs Benedict was delicious. Bacon was too perfection. The lemon ricotta pancakes were pretty good, was expecting more ricotta but all in all delicious breakfast spot to go to. Wait service is nice and efficient!

Very busy and popular! We were quoted 25min wait for 2 but got in under 10 min. We came during Saturday brunch times and it couldn't be busier. Ordered spinach cheese omelette ($25) and lemon ricotta pancakes with real maple syrup ($28) Both were very tasty and cooked to perfection. Fresh orange juice ($14) was meh. My biggest complaint is that it is overlypriced for what you get.

Everything good except one of their waiter. We went there for many times. We love this restaurant for breakfast but one of the waiter not good at all. We spoke with his manger about him and his attitude.

Absolutely incredible, everything was delicious and so well-balanced. The service was exceptional, the mimosas were amazing, the ambiance is perfect for every reunion with a date, friends or family. Best meal I've had, and that includes some Run here, you will not be disappointed.

Very busy and a bit loud, but the service was prompt and the food was excellent. Went on a weekday morning and were seated immediately, but I imagine reservations being the best option on a weekend. We tried the wild mushroom scramble with popover and lemon ricotta pancakes. Delicious!

Wow, it was better than I expected it would to be. The tomato soup was the best I have ever had, and the french toast was great. The benedicts were okay, but compared to the others, they were sub par. Also, their coffee is great too! Highly recommend!

Had their lemon ricotta pancakes, French toast, fruit bowl, coffee & cold pressed OJ. The pancakes had great flavor but dry, the French toast was delicious, crispy and chewy not soggy. Bacon, coffee and OJ was great. It is expensive for breakfast so keep that in mind. Staff was great and they were very busy for a Tuesday morning

A coffee shop serving a late breakfast. One of the most beautiful places in New York, directly opposite Central Park. Advance reservations are recommended. The place is very crowded. The staff is friendly. The prices are high. It is suitable for a family atmosphere. It is worth a visit.

We made a reservation the night before for 11:30am brunch on a Friday. Less than a five minute wait once we arrived, though we did wait a while with no server attention. However, once we flagged someone down, he apologized and offered to take our order immediately. Understandable, because for a weekday morning, this place was *bustling*. Food came out promptly when ordered, and everything was delicious. We tried the garden omelette, lemon & ricotta pancakes, and basket of popovers. Marmalade and preserves tasted very fresh - made in house? I did see some reviews complaining of price, but we had perused the menu beforehand and knew what we were walking into - I'm not sure there's many brunch spots that are in that vicinity that would have been much less expensive... Overall, I consider it a good find and would return.

Second visit to NYC. A great place across the street from Central Park. Food excellent. Was very humid outside so we ate indoors. We got a window table and could watch the street while eating. Highly recommend a visit.

I had an amazing breakfast here, during the Five Boro Bike Tour. The position is very nice, in front of central park and there are some table also outside. There’s several nice dishes, but for my opinion a must are the pancakes…probably the best pancakes I have ever eat!! To be honest, the prices are high but for the view and the quality of the food, i highly suggest to come here!!

Sarabeth’s defines casual elegance. Right off Central Park South, the restaurant is both fancy and comfortable. Make reservations so you don’t have to wait. We tried lunch here recently, and had the chicken pot pie and the cheeseburger. Both were great. The burger was well seasoned; the pot pie was filled with tender chicken. We come whenever we visit NYC. Don’t forget their bread basket for a treat.

Sarabeth's seems to be one of the most famous brunch spots in New York, with numerous branches across the city, but the one on Central Park South left the most lasting impression on me. The quality of the dishes is consistently excellent, and you can't go wrong with any of the classic brunch items you choose. The restaurant has a sense of history, enhancing the dining experience. Moreover, it's conveniently located near Central Park and Fifth Avenue, making it easy to enjoy the afternoon after your meal. However, the restaurant is very popular, so if you go during peak hours, there might be a wait, and the service might take longer. I recommend arriving right when the restaurant opens to avoid any delays.

Great portions! The farmers egg white omelette was very good with the Gruyère cheese. I got an iced coffee as well which always hits the spot. Very nice interior with lots of natural light in the space

Nestled in the heart of Midtown Manhattan , Sarabeth's is a brunch haven that delights the senses and elevates the morning ritual to a culinary adventure. Recently, I had the pleasure of indulging in their famed fat and fluffy French toast, and it was an experience worth savoring. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance envelops you in warmth and charm, with its elegant décor and inviting atmosphere. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and delectable pastries fills the air, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show, the fat and fluffy French toast. Oh, where do I even begin? Each golden slice is a masterpiece of culinary perfection, boasting a delicate balance of sweetness and richness that simply melts in your mouth. The exterior achieves the perfect crispness, giving way to a soft, pillowy interior that's pure bliss with every bite. But what truly sets Sarabeth's French toast apart is the attention to detail and quality of ingredients. Made with thick slices of brioche bread, soaked in a luscious custard mixture and cooked to golden perfection, it's a symphony of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more with each forkful. Pair it with a generous drizzle of their signature maple syrup, and you've got yourself a brunch experience fit for royalty. Each bite is a culinary journey, transporting you to a realm of pure indulgence and satisfaction. In addition to the exquisite French toast, Sarabeth's offers a tantalizing array of brunch options to suit every palate. From fluffy omelets to decadent pancakes, there's something for everyone to enjoy. But it's not just the food that makes Sarabeth's a standout destination, it's the impeccable service and attention to detail that truly sets it apart. The staff exudes warmth and hospitality, ensuring that every aspect of your dining experience is nothing short of perfection. In conclusion, if you're in search of a brunch spot that's sure to delight your taste buds and leave you craving more, look no further than Sarabeth's. And be sure to indulge in their fat and fluffy French toast, it's an experience you won't soon forget.

I think it is a tourist trap. Food is good but overly priced. Also the tables are squeezed together to fit more people while the maintenance of the building is not so good. Having cold air blasting to you while eating on winter is a big no and repetitive attempts for them to switch it off was not listened because, I want to think in all fairness, it was broken; but that's no excuse.

Great Place, excellent food with innovation in classic dishes, drinks on point, very good Services, upscale atmosphere perfect to wear the Classy Elegant Pieces that you deserve for special Ocasiones, but Casual enough to be confortable, only one little detail needs improvement, it’s just the wait time, since the lobby. It’s very narrow, made so difficult for a amount for party waiting to be seated.

Had easter brunch there, excellent service, great views and killer food. We got the muffin and preserves platter to start the preserves were out of this world. Then I got the salmon benedict and truffle fries which were so good, my wife got the cream cheese scallion popover which was also excellent. Great place will definitely be back!

Service is very good, strong management team as I understand it. Coffee was of good quality so was the food. French toasts were think and soggy in the middle, however my omelette was well prepared. Very noisy, you can hardly hear anything. Pricy for what they serve, perhaps taking advantage their location. I won’t recommend it tho. Jams restaurant nearby is a better value!!

While waiting for a stylish high-end brunch venue, it was disappointing to encounter a cramped and extremely noisy place. The omelet I ordered was the same as served in any ordinary diner. Scone served with it was absolutely stale and tasteless. Our Bellinis, which we ordered excitedly because it said it was prepared with real peach puree on the menu, tasted like Mimosa, and they didn't care when we told them. I don't think it's worth giving it another chance.

Sarabeth’s has become a staple brunch spot every trip to NYC. It’s a bit pricey but we’ll worth it. My 7 year old plans a trip around going to Sarabeth’s every time. We always order more food than we can eat yet we have no leftovers.

Four stars coz they wouldn’t sit us until all of us were present. It’s super packed even on weekdays. My friends threw me birthday brunch. The food is as it’s supposed to be. Lobster roll was delicious. The drink was good too.

You would think for the price the food would be better. I am no stranger to spending top dollar in food but I left with disappointment. Pressed orange juice tasted water down, the deviled eggs were tasteless and bland, and the pickle left a bad taste in my mouth. The pancakes were decent, but even with asking for extra syrup it was not enough. 100+ for what?

Our orders was from the "Brunch Special - Here today, may be gone tomorrow" Blueberry pancaked with mixed berries. CPS Breakfast with Apple Cinnamon Toast, Scrambled Eggs and Sausage. Atmosphere was Busy and Buzzing(in major part because of the Half-Marathon going on). The Brunch was deliscious, savory and sweet, perfectly fluffy pancakes and not too sweet on the berry sauce. The apple cinnamon toast wasn't over greasy, light and fresh. Sausage wasn't so bad either, though a bit dry for my taste it was NOTHING my partner contemplated over. One of the tastiest fluffy scrambled eggs that I have had in the states. Not too salty which suits my sensitive buds. Overall: recommend! Placing it on my public global eatery list. Until Next time, New York!

I wanted to sit outside... but there were a lot of people who wanted it. The coffee taste was normal, and the eggs Benedict was larger than other restaurants. The English muffins were very soft. And my favorite eggs&grains are so still delicious. There were not many tourists on this day, so it wasn't crowded.

Lovely restaurant right across from the southeast entrance to Central Park. It was a perfect stop for breakfast before heading into the park. We enjoyed cappuccinos, popovers with jam, and crab cake eggs benedict.

Amazing little fine-dine restaurant on the southern border of Central Park. Great spot to go for brunch followed by a walk in the park! Amazing vibe, superbly delicious options, and pretty good service! Highly recommend the quiche and the chicken-apple sausage! Thanks again from Los Angeles!
