Update: they moved to a place next door. I kind of was hoping it’s going to be a bigger place, but not really. Narrow entrance and very limited by the register, but still super cute. I just wish there was more space to sit and enjoy cup of coffee. Such a cute coffee shop. Loved the coffee. Got their seasonal Autumn spice latter and it was great! Their cupcakes are so unique and pretty! Didn’t get a chance to try one this time, but they do look delicious!

Very cool spot in Manhattan. Comfortable and cozy. Very small but great tasting coffee. I had the banana bread and Autumn Spice Latte. Would definitely come back. They offer tiny cupcakes with incredible designs and hopefully they're tasty 😋.

Such delicious coffee and friendly staff! Refreshing interior vibe. My second visit in a few days and the latte was amazing AGAIN. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good ☕️ in the area!

I was excited to try urban backyard, but was honestly looking forward to their succulent cupcakes and pastries I saw online. When we walked in I didn't see any sign of them, and the bakery case only had typical coffee shop pastries. After doing more research online it looks like their cupcakes and cakes are only available to pre order. Learned that the hard way. Either way I still got some coffee and went with their seasonal peppermint Candy mocha. I subbed with almond milk. It was very rich with a strong dark chocolate aftertaste. It wasn't my favorite drink but wasn't bad. The space inside is small with only one main table. There's some outdoor seating available as well, but only 2-3 tables. It seems to be more of a grab n go style place.

So cute. Chai tea great and I had two little mini cupcakes that were too adorable. Almost didn't want to eat them. The brownie cookie was really good too.

I tried 3 different drinks here and they were all delicious. Plus the succulent cupcake has me planning another visit back. Nice downstairs area and clean bathrooms.

Ok wow this ube latte is legit. Not a taro knock off and doesn’t taste like powder. I’m sold. Take my money. I’ll be back. Pastries look good but I’ll have to review those another time. It’s a cute little shop (emphasis on little) so if you’re coming to sit and chill come during an off hour because it was crowded at 4:30 on a Tuesday. Seems they also have wifi as there were people working.

It has been awhile since my last visit. Nestled near SoHo, its botanical atmosphere adorned with festive halloween decors like pumpkins and terrifying fake spiders. * Pumpkin Pie Latte Its velvety foam was generously sprinkled with a delicate dusting of pumpkin spice, and the first sip was nothing short of a cinnamon-y and gingery aroma. I had some really sweet pumpkin spice lattes before but this one was lightly sweetened. A shot of espresso provided a robust and slightly bitter undertone to balance out the pumpkin purée. * Rose Cardamom Latte I usually steer away from rose lattes as I’m afraid of the artificial aroma of rose syrup, but this rose cardamom latte slapped. It combined espresso and milk with the natural fragrance of rose and cardamom. Some dried rose petals were added as a garnish to make it aesthetically pleasing. * Masala Chai Mini Cupcake * Pumpkin Spice Mini Cupcake Aww their mini succulent cupcakes are almost too cute to eat! These eye candies are obviously designed to be appreciated visually. The flavor of pumpkin spice was weak, but both the flavors and cupcake texture were better than the masala chai one. FYI these spooky cuties are available from noon! * Pumpkin Loaf w/ Spiced Cream Cheese Well…probably the most awful loaf I’ve ever eaten. The second when we cut the loaf with our forks, we could literally feel the terribly dry and crumbly texture. It was so bad that we told the barista and he refunded us. I really appreciated their immediate remedy, so I will still go back for their high quality coffee but definitely not their pastries. --------- The café was small but cozy. Love the botanical design with green plants and wood furnitures - a lovely coffee break from the hustle and bustle in Manhattan. Plenty of pastry choices and beverages provided. Seasonal drinks are also available so make sure you check them out (they have Pumpkin Pie Latte, Autumn Spice Latte and Rose Cardamom Latte as fall specials!) * Flat White w/ Oat Milk * Hot Latte * Regular Coffee w/ Milk As for the milk espresso, the mixing was good with cute tulip latte art. The egg shape latte cups boosted the quality of a decent coffee. The taste of beans was nutty, which had a great chemistry with milk. * Lychee Black Tea Served with a transparent teapot, a little glass and a wooden tray. Refreshing floral fragrance with subtle lychee flavor. My Recommendations: Flat White, Latte Worth Returning ? Yes

I got the Ube Latte with almond milk & I was honestly expecting it to be better. Obviously, Ube is a bit more mild of a flavor, but this honestly didn’t taste like much at all. My boyfriend’s rose latte was much better though. I would come back to try the pastries & cupcakes! Went on 1/20/2024

They just moved to new place. Such a cool spot to grab a coffee. I enjoy everything here. Wish they could have more space inside to enjoy the vibes and coffee. But its such a very cute little and cozy place. I love the decor inside a lot. Got ice mocha and hot almond latte which taste good as always. Staff is friendly. Always be my favorite spot to grab a coffee every time I go to Soho :)

Stumbled upon this place as our hotel was nearby and my only regret was that we didn't find it earlier in the trip. Thankfully we looked at reviews prior to coming because it led us to try the ube latte (which I don't believe is on their written menu). The ube latte had a true ube flavour from what I know from the Philippines and it was absolutely delicious. We came back the next morning right when the cafe opened to squeeze in another ube latte for our flight!

Pretty nice interior and pretty decent coffee! I could use a little stronger flavor of rose in rose latte but still overall pretty good coffee!!

The Ube Latte was a unique twist to the traditional latte, and the flavor was enjoyable. The vibrant purple hue was visually appealing, and the initial sips had a delightful balance of sweetness and creaminess. However, as we neared the end of our drinks, the texture became a bit chunky. Moving on to the ambiance, the cafe's size was a bit smaller than we had anticipated. While the cozy atmosphere added a certain charm, it also made the seating arrangements a bit cramped. Finding a comfortable spot proved to be a challenge, especially during peak hours.

Really cute shop with lots of character. It's pretty small, so it's not ideal if you're planning to sit around, but if you're in the area you're probably walking around anyways. Very nice baristas. They could maybe move the line a little faster, but they were swamped and it was end of day when I was there, so I'm not deducting points for that. Overall, definitely recommend!

Atmosphere was the draw. The coffee was fabulous! We missed the beautiful cupcakes. Arrived too early … they serve them after Noon. Very small inside upstairs but would not be deterred there is also seating downstairs. The coffee is well worth it!

Probably the nicest coffee shop in the neighborhood. Great service. Matcha latte was delicious. No sugar free milk alternatives but the place is so good I will be back. Seating inside and outside. WiFi available.

Small and super cute coffee shop. I highly recommend their ube latte; it is one of the best lattes that I have tried. Friendly staff.

    • This is a nice small place for coffee with a friend. • The interior inside is great and cozy. • However, the outside seating is not very well organized. • They have cute cupcakes for a cheat day. • The coffee and matcha taste great, but they may be a bit too sweet for some people's taste.

Cozy gem in the middle of Little Italy, a little escape from the craziness. Love the aesthetics but the drinks are even better. Hojicha latte was indulgently delicious. Staff was friendly too.

Cozy and dimly lit, this cafe's drinks and deserts are really good. The only downside being that there's only two tables of seating available inside alongside outdoor seating which is admittedly not ideal. Otherwise I really recommend trying their signature ube latte!

Delicious drinks and food in a true tiny oasis environment in the city. I love their "take a pot, leave a pot" box. The outdoor seating area is well laid out to let you feel isolated and at peace. Try the Ube Latte and the tiny cupcakes! You won't regret it.

Very chilling and relaxing place to get dessert and drink The cupcakes taste great than it looks! The frosting is very smooth and not too sweet But its the size of mini cupcakes Not that many spaces in store but there are some seats in the cabin The matcha latte looked tasty even though we didn't get a chance to try

I can't wait to come back because they are eco-friendly and they also allow you to bring your own cup to their cafe. They have a small amount of seating but if you can snag the spot right by the window it is perfect. The lavender latte is delicious and the loaf that I got was perfect to eat with the coffee.

I ordered the plants cupcakes for my friends birthday, and just a note that remember to fill out the order form online few days prior your pick up time. I almost missed the deadline and called the store front. Gladly they’re really nice and willing to take my order. Aesthetically, the cupcakes look so delicious and pretty, but those taste unsweetened. I got the earl grey flavor, and honestly I can’t really tell the difference. I don’t like the very sweet cupcakes that you can buy in the supermarkets or dessert places, but sweetness of the cupcakes here are just in the nice middle ground. I will definitely try out their pastries and drinks on my next visit.
