A delightful little coffee shop, one I'd imagine is the set for the meet-cute in a Hallmark movie. The cute girl, with an oddly rough exterior, who never left her hometown runs a coffee shop. Enter a world wide country music star, as he is passing through between stops on his tour. With a skin tight black shirt and a frayed baseball cap he says "One Lovely Lavender Latte please...ooo I like the alliteration on that" They share a burst of laughter and a short conversation, and she asks him what brings him to Jonesborough. He awkwardly stumbles so as to not give away his fame, as he has been DYING to meet a girl who loves him for him and not his occupation. "Just uh... passing through... headin to Nashville." She, of course, doesn't recognize him, but her whole staff is starring. After she hands him the Latte, their eyes meet for about a half second too long. You guys know the kind of sexual tension I'm talking about. All it takes is 0.5 seconds. They both snap out of it, but in turning around too quickly, he trips over a table and hits his head on a chair. She rushes to get a pack of ice and puts it on the bruising forehead... But yeah my cold brew was great and my big bro gave his latte a 8/10! Big bro rarely gives anything over a 7.75! A great place to come for a quick coffee and potentially have a meet-cute (eye emoji).

Good lavender latte. Very limited seating, and can’t bring your laptop on the weekends. (Understandable) about $7 for most larger drinks. Small selection of pastries and an outdoor seating.

If you're looking for a cozy spot to relax with a delicious cup of coffee and some scrumptious bites, then Lazy Llama Cafe is the place to be! This cafe is the ultimate chill-out spot for those who prefer to take it slow and steady like a lazy llama. You can order Turkish coffee here and it comes with Turkish delight! The decor is cute with the little stuffed llamas. The staff are friendly and laid-back, just like the vibe of the cafe. Overall, Lazy Llama Cafe is the perfect spot for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of NYC. So come on down, take a seat, and relax like a true lazy llama. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Stumbled upon this adorable coffee spot in the neighborhood and I'm so glad! I loved the non-pretentious vibes. They have some seating inside and along the storefront outside which is perfectly south-facing on a sunny winter day. The coffee was perfect! For the coffee nerds: they serve Devoción coffee which is freshly roasted in Brooklyn and the beans are never more than a couple of days old (unlike many places that serve stumptown, its not bad but still). The place has Llamas everywhere and some of their to-go coffee cups have nice Llama artwork!

An incredibly sweet cafe on the Lower East side. If you sit there they serve it in ceramic glasses. No need to talk about the quality of the coffee. Definitely add it to your list 😊

I absolutely enjoyed this place. While I didn't get a chance to enjoy my drink outside, ordering my drink inside was a treat. Being inside I was treated to llamas on the side and all the awesome accessories being sold. The Barista behind the counter was friendly and helpful in my tea selection. My girlfriend got an iced coffee and she enjoyed it as well! I would definitely check it out if you're in the area 🙂.

Small coffee shop with limited seating and better for take out. The lavender latte avoided being bitter or overly weak and the espresso was full and robust.

Cute, quirky coffee shop with decent coffee. The Lazy Llama has little seating, and isn’t great for groups of more than 2, but it still delights due to the interior character of the shop. The exterior is a bit unappealing driven by trash cans on sidewalk and an occasional strange smell there too. The coffee is Devoción beans, which isn’t anything special: it’s a classic Colombian medium-dark roast used by many coffee shops in NYC, however, it’s drinkable and better than the bitter drip coffees of several competitor coffee shops. Coffee score: 4/5. Everything else score: 4/5. Overall score: 4/5.

Lucky to discover this on my first jetlagged morning back in New York, staying at an AirBNB in the East Village. The egg and cheese croissant was delicious, the coffee was great, and the cafe is located in a cosy, quiet corner. Give it a try if you're in the neighborhood.

The gingerbread latte is the way to go and don’t sleep on the Turkish pastries. You are in New York City after all, experience the culture! The lady taking my order was very sweet. I was able to get some work done at the café and felt comfortable.

~ Pretty strong coffee and it’s a little too bitter for my cafe au lait. I think you will enjoy it more if you prefer the dark roast! - I came in pretty early at 8am on Sun morning, and the lady working there was pretty cold without any greetings or smiles. However, she was very fast in making my drink! + The shop has a good vibe and interesting decor! I think they’re going after the “rustic nature” theme? They were playing very loud music when I walked in, and I love that as it instantly boosted my energy level (without the needing of caffeine😅) Overall its a decent and unique coffee shop. Will I come back? No.

I was craving caffeine e and decided to stop here for a latte and I'm glad I did! It is a very cute little coffee place with a lot of natural sunlight if you wanted to sit down for a while. The latte was very good and I'd happily go back. There is also a cute little cookie place down the street if you want a treat after.

Wir haben unseren gesamten NY Aufenthalt morgens hier verbracht und es war immer perfekt. Nette Menschen, eine sehr sympathische Inhaberin und spitzen Kaffee und Gebäck. Können wir nur empfehlen😍

Probably one of the best coffees in NYC! I was here 5 years and absolutely loved it then, and the quality didn’t change!

Good coffee shop with good coffee and a small selection of pastries and sandwiches. There’s also the possibility of charging the phone inside, however they do mention they are not letting people use their computers or iPads on a weekend. This cafe in lower Manhattan has also a small terrace with two small oval tables and a bench. If you find it free you can enjoy your coffee in the sun! Very recommended for a relaxing break. It’s also not busy if you want to sit inside, as usually people come for take away. Recommended!

Found this coffee shop near our hotel. They use Devoción Coffee Roasters and the coffee is delicious. The women worker/owner? is sweet and very attentive and knowledgeable. Didn’t have any food but it looked delicious.

Chill little Cafe with AMAZING apricot cookies. Like, they should totes wholesale their products to vendors. And I mean - it's a Llama themed Cafe. Nuff said.

First time stopping in and I just adore this little coffee shop . Some indoor and outdoor seating and the chai is delicious! I’ll be back . And I also love llamas, so the name is what drew me to your coffee shop 🥰🥰

Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, straight espresso or iced milk drinks they’re all fantastic. Their apricot cookie might be the best cookie I’ve had in my life.

I love this place! I live super close so it’s become my goto coffee shop/breakfast place. They have a huge menu (coffee, smoothies, sandwiches/bagels, baked goods, oatmeal, fridge with juices and drinks) at about the same price as you would expect at a Starbucks. This place is also clearly independently owned which always feels better than spending money at a giant chain. I recommend the lox bagel (one of the cheapest I’ve found in NYC), the BEC, and the blueberry scone. All super yummy.
