Double Zero is always a treat. It’s one of those vegan restaurants where you forget about meat. The dishes aren’t trying to be something else and aren’t missing ingredients. The truffle and pepperoni pizza are full of so much flavor. Interesting side note: The shape changed from an oval/rectangle to a circle recently. Outdoor dining during Covid was great and preferable over the tightly packed bar stools of the restaurant normally.

Hands down the best vegan pizza! Especially since brick oven is always top notch. MK never fails to deliver delicious food and even the vegetation with me who refused to eat vegan cheese or pizza, loved it! We had the potato pizza this time, definitely yum and the Cesar salad was yum! I would go way more often if I lived closer. So give it a try, you’ll definitely enjoy. Seating inside and outside.

One of the best vegan places I've been to. Service is incredible. The food is delicious. The staff are so upbeat and helpful and the drinks are just right. Recommend for any occasion or just a place to get a pie and a nice glass of wine. Can't wait to come here and taste everything on the menu

Great place for vegan pizzas. Cozy, good wines… FYI, tables feet 8 and are shareable. We usually order the mushroom truffle cream pizza and the cheesecake. The pizza dishes are better than the non-pizza dishes in my opinion (tried everything already).

Their Pizza 🍕 is worth sitting in that small place 😌😅 I mean when it’s crowded yea.. barely can hear anything.. but food makes it all good and tolerable Mac n cheese and quinoa meatballs were just perfect 🤪🤪 wine 🍷 is good (not the best) but they pour A LOT 😅👌🏻which I loved I think it is kinda bar themed restaurant, hope it makes sense when you see it for yourself lol Enjoy their pizza, my vegan friend 🌱

Double Zero has fast casual plant based pizza, pasta, salad and desserts in a chic stylish shared dining experience. Service is efficient and food arrives super fast. Don't miss the Lemon Basil Zinger. Super delicious all around. Perfect date spot.

One of the best places for vegan food. We had their artichoke pizza and sunflower Caesar salad. We took an outdoor table and the ambience was good in my opinion. Would recommend this place. I want to go back and try all their dishes. We also had their chocolate cake but I wasn’t a fan of it, it was a bit dry but that’s all cakes and probably just my taste. I went here again and I had the spicy arrabbiata pizza and Cacio e Pepe pasta! The pasta was sooooo good. The food is great here!

Like the food and love knowing it’s all vegan dishes too! I liked the meatballs and the chopped salad from the menu. They have a good selection of wines with decent prices. Nice and warm atmosphere. The service was okay and a bit sloppy. They brought us the wrong bottle of wine and opened it without telling us they were out of the one we asked for. If we didn’t realize it, we were gonna drink the wrong bottle of wine. They understood their mistake and acted on it. But sort of lost a star in my opinion.

Love Double Zero! My friend is dairy free and so this is always our spot when she’s in town. We always get the Potato pizza and highly recommend, but haven’t been disappointed with anything we’ve tried. Raymond the owner is also super friendly! He also owns the vegan Mexican style restaurant next door that we are excited to try next time.

Intimate and fancy vibe with amazing plant-based pizza and desserts! Hadn't had panna cotta since going vegan and it did not disappoint!

Was excited to try Double Zero after receiving a gift card for my graduation. I ordered the vegan pizza and when it came to my table it was luke warm. The drinks were great and delicious but, over priced and hyped up. There was an issue with my gift card… the manager would not accept it. Although it was purchased through their website. I just want to help others and tell people to be wary when purchasing a gift card on their site. The manager was extremely rude when I was explaining that the gift card was purchased through their site. Terrible customer service and will not be returning anytime soon.

The spicy arrabbiata and the spinach artichoke pizzas were both delicious! Really enjoyed the red and white sauces on them both, respectively. The pizzas came out very fast too which is always nice. The pisco sour was also very good!

I’m going to start with the cheesecake because that was the best vegan cheesecake I’ve ever had!! I am *so* picky about cheesecakes and this was incredibly fresh, not too sweet, and the best texture ever. I went weeks ago, and I literally haven’t stopped thinking about it. The pizzas were also very good, but I’m still getting used to nut based cheeses. Where it lacked cheese pull and gooey-ness, it made up for it in flavor and thin crust! I highly recommend the Artichoke and Spicy Arrabiata (if you like a nice kick).

Staff is great. Friendly and know their menu. Indoors is limited but looks great. We were larger group sat outside. Reason why I left NY, we had 3 homeless come up to us, siting outside. For vegan Pizza it was better than most regular pizza. Michele rated its worth the trip, and the homeless.

We tried the squash blossom pizza and the orecchiette. The pasta was so good! I wish I could remember what the menu said it had on it outside of the spinach and artichoke mixed in because the sauce was delicious and slightly spicy and creamy and just *chef’s kiss*. The pizza was tasty as well. The crust was light and fluffy and the sauce was a little sweet. I did feel like the titular ingredient- the squash blossom- was difficult to distinguish from the other flavors, especially when you have ones as strong and distinct as balsamic, but it was good nonetheless. Definitely looking forward to returning here at some point.

I have been here numerous times. Here are my suggestions. Truffle cashew cream pizza is a must get / must try item. Pro tip: ask for more mushrooms if you like them. All the salads are good but the two I would recommend are the sunflower caesar and the antipasto (underrated). Pro tip - ask for more dressing with the caesar to make it extra creamy. Other starters: wasn’t crazy about the meatballs, haven’t tried the eggplant parm, olives are a nice to have not need. Pastas: the pappardelle bolognese is delicious. Pro tip - ask for cashew cream to be put on top. Can’t really go wrong with cacio e pepe - it’s delicious but more on the indulgent side. Drinks: we like the blood orange margarita with extra tajin on the rim. Dessert: end up satisfied from our meal where we don’t need dessert. Atmosphere is chill typically not too crowded. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside and a bit tight but no worries. Service is good - no concerns. This is a go to staple restaurant for us plant based or not.

Delicious Gluten free food and drinks! Non alcoholic options. For appetizers the olives are delicious! The vegan pepperoni pizza is delicious as well as the roasted mushrooms. I have been twice and everything has been wonderful. Great service!

This is by far the best vegan Italian food we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, healthy and delicious! No refined sugar, excellent gluten free pasta and crust, only healthy oils (no canola or soybean oils), and super fresh ingredients. Love their concept of truly healthy food. Sha, our waiter provided stellar, friendly service. He was able to easily answer all of our allergen/ingredient questions. He was the best! All of the chefs and floor staff were incredible too. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Was very good vegan food. We got the mozzarella pizza and the Mac e cheese. Both were great, and the crust on the pizza was amazing. Ambiance was cute and cozy.

The Bolognese Pasta was absolutely amazing!! One of the best I ate in my life, including when I wasn't yet vegan. Pizza & dessert were also delicious. The staff was wonderful. Highly recommended, great dining experience!

I called to book a reservation as I was going to see a broadway show on 42nd st beforehand and wasn’t sure if we’d make it down in time. Shah was incredibly helpful and accommodating! Everything about our experience was amazing (obviously the food and wine was amazing) but the staff really went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of!

Eaten at the one in Boston and this is just as good. Great staff and location is great. I've said it before - Truffle pizza is so tasty.

Super friendly staff and delicious bellinis. It's hard to tell whether pancakes were good, since this was my first time to try GF and vegan pancakes, but it tasted a bit bitter and I couldn't eat more than one.

Good vegan pizza ($20). Pizzas are pretty filling. I’d say way more filling than a normal pizza so 1 pizza is good for 2 people. Truffle pizza was yummy. Arrabbiata pizza was just okay

Delicious vegetarian, gluten free healthy clean goodness right here folks. In a classy way too. Salad and mushroom appetizers were simply incredibly tasty and on point. The service impeccable. Our guy was so on point, with the attention and water refills and just kind, quick service. He deserves a medal in serving. Sorry didn't catch your name tho. My favorite was the baked meatballs. Truly melt in your mouth deliciousness. The basil pesto pizza was also super good - but the real crack? The real on my gosh so good? Put that meatball on that pizza and holy moly greatness was created. I left full, so full. So happy and full.

Absolutely one of the best pizzas I have had for a long time. Thin and crispy and with so many different flavors. I can highly recommend this place.

It’s a lovely space, with excellent service and friendly staff. Free water served immediately which I appreciated. Rows of wine bottles on one wall, dim lighting and a cosy temperature all lend a very inviting atmosphere. Yes, it’s expensive, at pizza pies for 20something dollars. There are lots of pizza option to choose from. Nonpizza options are slightly less. I got the truffle cream pizza, loaded with mushrooms. Despite the impressive appearance, the pizza flavour was just…. OK. Yes I ate it all bc I was hungry and paid for it. But sadly it was just fine. I’ve had much better nonvegan and vegan pizzas.

What an amazing Italian restaurant that's 100% vegan. The chopped salad had a lot of unique flavors with homemade cheese. The fungi dish was full of warmth and deliciousness. The truffle cashew cream pizza was even more flavorful and that crust is absolutely worth the calories. Service was great too

Placed an order to go for a Margherita pizza with shiitake mushrooms and found a strand of hair in one the slices. I reached out to the restaurant and explained what happened, but was told that it does happen and there is nothing they could do about it but offer me a refund. I could not BELIEVE what I was hearing over the phone! I felt so disgusted not only about the pizza but also by the unprofessional answer I heard over the phone. I would never go back there again! This comment is coming from someone who ordered pizza from Double Zero three to four times a week. What a shame.

I’m not the best judge of this restaurant, because I don’t particularly eat vegetarian or vegan food, but the meatballs were pretty good and the pizza was the best. The indoor vibe / atmosphere was cool

Eat here now! It’s absolutely wonderful. Fabulous atmosphere, pics don’t capture the ambience. Stunning food even if you’re not vegan. Wonderful wines too. Enjoy!

Wow, great vegan pizza, the most delicious vegan pizza I ever had!! We had the chopped salad and two pizzas, artichokes and truffle. Amazing!!

We went to the location in Boston and we were so impressed with the food up there that we had to try the one in the city. It was good, but it wasn't a place that I would go again. The gentleman who served us was nice enough but his responses to my questions came off a bit condescending. Great pizza dough though.

I frequent Double Zero fairly often, and I must say everything from the food to the service is outstanding! It’s one of my favorite vegan restaurants in NYC, and both the quality and taste of the food is consistently great. My absolute favorites are the potato pizza and the pepperoni pizza, but all the ones that I’ve tried are very good. The drinks and the chocolate cake are also great. The last time I went, Shahin served us and he was an absolute pleasure. He’s served us multiple times, and he is always very upbeat, friendly, and makes great recommendations! He goes out of his way for his guests, and truly adds to the amazing experience at Double Zero! I highly recommend Double Zero, even if you’re not vegan. I have been vegan for nearly a decade, but most if not all of the friends I bring there with me are not and they absolutely LOVE the food and keep coming back. You should definitely give it a try!
