A beautiful coffee shop serving delicious pastries and great iced coffee. My barista was pleasant and made my coffee just how I like it. I would love to come back soon !

First of all they are blatantly discriminating against patrons, going beyond the mandate which only requires vaccination cards for indoor dining, absolutely not for to-go or take out (such as coffee) or bathroom usage. Furthermore, they have signs about “no cash” which is again a violation of New York State law, this business is unethical and disgusting, do not visit!

Two types of New Yorkers live in the city. The type to stick to one coffee shop out of habit / convenience and then you have the type to actually try a new spot without fear of getting too much ice in their cup of coffee to start the morning. Today I felt fearless. Lol. Macadamia milk latter with an extra shot and a vibe to start the day. Love it.

The Mountie is really gooooood. Some of the best coffee I’ve found in the city if you like sweet drinks. The cold brew is really great too. The employees here are the BEST and they’re always so so fast. Plenty of seating here and in the bar/lobby areas.

I use to love jacks there prices have recently gone insane and them not serving people because no vaccine which is crazy I have had covid and am a surviver of the deadliest flu thats ever walked this earth my chances were only 99.5 of living and I just held on to hope every day. Now that I am immune they are asking me to get a shot i do not need regardless Of potential side effects that are known and no idea of long term ones. When I let a coffee company decide my medical decisions I am dead already.

Coffee is good, but even better is the loby of the Roxy Hotel where you can enjoy it. Amazing ambient! I just spent an hour on one of the comfy couches drinking coffee and reading a book.

Very amazing place with very amazing coffee. I’ve never heard of it before and went in just because walked by and was thirsty. The I e coffee was strong and very tasty. The place itself is huge and even has a cinema theater on level -1. Really cool place, very recommended to all coffee lovers.

Very good place with vegan options and pastries. I am allergic to egg so that was awesome. The baristas are nice and the place has indoor and outdoor seating. It’s hardly ever crowded and it’s a must visit. 10/10 🤩

I was really pleased with the location and the coffee. I also love that they had vegan treats, which I enjoyed. The staff was really nice and it didn’t take long. Outdoor area is great, even set up with places to plug in for tech which is very nice! This is apart of the Roxy hotel and bathrooms are located inside, downstairs. Really cool hotel, dark lighting but clean and quiet.

I came here because it is called Stir Brew coffee. Unfortunately they do not have any manual brews. So I asked for an espresso, which was a correct cup. I asked in a ceramic cup and not paper, I do not like the taste of paper in my coffee. My espresso as I said was correct, nothing to write home about. My work partner ordered a macchiato and she really liked the quality of her coffee. We were there at early in the morning at 7 wherein the ambience was cosy. The baristas behind the counter were nice enough to comply to my fussy self of being served in a ceramic cup. I rated 5 stars because of these factors even though the coffee may not have been the best I tasted.

Cute little coffee shop with the standard upcharge for non-dairy milk (almond & oat for $.85) but with a selection of vegan treats. Not “all-vegan” bakery, but three fresh pastries including a gluten free fudge cake, cookies, and banana walnut muffin. They also have oatmeal, other packaged snacks & coconut yogurt in the cold case by the door that are vegan. Bathrooms available in the Roxy hotel/cinema area & free Wi-Fi. You have to “sign in” with email and access code for the Wi-Fi. Ask the barista or server for the code Coffee was fine - I’m a decaf girl, and it tasted a bit burnt in my latte but I’ve found that’s not abnormal for decaf.

good coffee shop, don’t get the honey macchiato though. extremely small cup, and all the honey sits at the bottom of a bitter and underwhelming coffee. even the hot cocoa is average.

Ade, Keisha, Gigi & Ty at Jacks cafe were friendly, courteous and very real. The coffee was great and I felt more welcome here than any other place I have visited since I arrived from Australia.

Great coffee & we visit the location out east regularly. But the girl who was working on 9/8 at 7am has to be one of the rudest, miserable baristas I’ve encountered in nyc. Makes me not want to go back here ever again

I went there last week. I didn't know what time they closed. When I went to the counter, the clerk ignored me. Obviously she know where we are. If it's already closed, I should have said something, but she kept ignoring me. What a rude person she is! If the coffee shop in the hotel is like this, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent ambiance and coffee! Highly recommend if you want an open space, step back in time, outside patio, or good coffee. Vegan options but no gluten free treats.

Positive experience. I got an iced mocha and was pleased with it. Creamy and kept me caffeinated. Nothing super exceptional but service is prompt, relatively clean, reasonable prices, and I liked the coffee. 4 stars.

Ordered delivery and the drinks were okay, a bit too sweet but enjoyable nonetheless. Would go elsewhere if ordering in the future but would definitely try in person if we were close!

I waited a week to see if I was still bothered by my experience(s) here at the Tribeca location inside The Roxy, and I am. The black girl with the grey newsboy cap that was working the two mornings I visited last week, has a horrendous attitude. The first day I visited, I figured she was just overwhelmed because it was busy, but the second day was completely unacceptable, as I was the only person there. It seemed as though that if you ask for anything aside from a simple black coffee, she flies off the handle. During my first visit, the double shot poured over my iced latte melted the ice by the time I left (60 seconds), leaving me with a watered down drink that I did not enjoy. So the second day, I asked for my ice in a separate cup, and to otherwise make my latte as you normally would (this was to give the espresso a few minutes to cool down before pouring it over ice myself). She replied with "I'm not understanding your drink", and she huffed and rolled her eyes. I said "make it as you normally would, just with the ice in a separate cup." Her: "Why don't you just ask for ice on the side!?" ...Me: "???" I'm so confused as to why she was playing semantics with me, also thinking to myself that an iced latte with ice on the side IS NOT the same as "please put my ice in a separate cup to allow the espresso to cool down." She proceeded to say "No one has ever asked me for this before, I just don't understand." So I explained what happened the day prior and why I wanted my ice separate, as HOT ESPRESSO on COLD ICE = melted. She continued to huff about it in front of another customer who walked in, making me feel like I was asking her for the world and like she was doing me the biggest favor. I was fuming before I even left yet I still managed to tell her thank you, WHERE I WAS THEN COMPLETELY IGNORED. That was the cherry on top for me. Had I not had somewhere to be, I 100% would've given her the drink back and asked for a refund - that's how nasty and miserable she was. I highly suggest getting rid of this lady. I'm almost certain that the other negative reviews are also in relation to her. All that to say, the unnecessary humiliation just isn't worth it. I will never be revisiting this location again, and my experience with this grumpy, miserable woman paints a bad picture of the company as a whole, for employing someone as such. 0/10.
