When I First got there i was very shock to see how much people was there already. And if you have a problem with people not wearing mask please don't come here. But it's very big and you can spread out so you won't be on top of other's. Such a relaxing place to ride a bike or just sit and enjoy the views of NYC, and Statue of 🗽. I went there to fish and it was very windy so we didn't catch anything but just the view and sitting there was enough to make me HAPPY.

This is a spacious playground with a view of New York and the Statue of Liberty. There are two big play structures and a fun obstacle course for kids. You can also find picnic tables and benches with shade for BBQ. There is a public restroom nearby and parking is free, but sometimes it can be hard to find a spot. You can also explore the walking paths and enjoy the scenery.

Wonderful place to hang outside for families and friends. Huge playground for kids to enjoy and exercise. Plenty of picnic tables. There are plenty of BBQ grills on the playground. You can bring your own. The views on New York and Jersey City are astonishing. There are bathrooms on location. Only one bummer is a small parking lot. If it is a prime time you won't be able to find a parking spot. There are other parking lots but it's kind of far. One more bonus is Ellis Island just in front of you but you can only look at it and take a pictures because the bridge to the Island is closed.

It is really nice place for kids Most of the rides are well maintained and good qualities The background of the place has great view. Free parking and walking distance to Ferry ride. It is good place for family picnic as well You can enjoy walk and play ground

The play area is good and kids can spend max time here while parents can sit and relax in the surrounding area. Restrooms nearby too.

What an amazing park for family fun !! It's proximity to NY Skyline, Ellis Island and Momorial makes it super special. There are many park benches to rest while you are having a fun walk.

Love this park!! Big and spacious with a big playground and lots of room for kids to run around. Let’s not forget the incredible view of the New York City skyline that this park offers!!! If you’re in NJ, this park is a MUST visit!

A large and open playground in the shadow of New York and Statue of Liberty. The play equipment consists of 2 LARGE play structures and a kid friendly obsticle course. The entire play area is surrounded by picnic tables and benches with shade. A public bathroom is nearby and parking was free. If your feeling adventurous you can talk the walking paths and see the sights.

Amazing park with the statue of liberty 🗽 view. Perfect for running, kiting or having a picnic. Keep in mind that it is usually very windy here...and heeey...watch your steps - geese put the land mines everywhere.

Beautiful park with bike trails, BBQ area, large grass fields and great views of the NY and NJ skyline.

Parking is free (except one lot). Easy access and great view. You need to go to both ends to enjoy very different views.

Fun interactive playground, lots of areas to climb, slide, for various ages. Obstacles courses as well. it is a great playground! I suggest avoiding the playground when it is too hot because there is no where for kids to cool off (like a splash pad). The parking lot is right across so be sure to input 535 freedom way address to arrive there. Otherwise it is a bit of a walk. The reason I removed one star is because there can be rowdy teens sometimes that crowd up the tallest slide and yes they speak foul language or set a bad example; hiding up there to kiss or bully the little kids so be careful and keep an eye on your kid(s). Other than that it is a good destination. If you go to the liberty science center and your kid is still energetic it is a good next stop. Enjoy!

They have BBQ areas and lots of picnic tables. Must be there early morning to get a BBQ grill and picnic table for parties. Kids run around and socialize.

Nice place for a walk and spending time with family and kids. You have ample free parking, BBQ, kids play area, reasonably clean rest rooms, nice view of New York City and Jercy City Skyline, sitting arrangement etc etc

Really enjoyed this park and playground. Love that it's right against the water overlooking Manhattan. Beautiful views of the financial district, Ellis Island and Lady Liberty. Impressive and challenging playground too. My niece loved it!

The view from the park of NYC is stunning. Park is way bigger than it looks. Bathrooms were clean and the park staff were very attentive.
