Visited this store on Thursday night and loved the ambiance!!!!! This is now my favorite Los Tacos No. 1 location. The team was incredibly friendly and attentive, loved that they interacted with us while also making our tacos. In my experience at other locations, they are usually more rushing and trying to get it done with as fast as possible. The line was considerably long but the ambiance and the music didn’t make us feel the time was too long. Tacos were delicious as usual!!!!! And me and my boyfriend thought the portions were probably a bit bigger in this particular location, maybe it was just us, maybe not. But definitely loved the vibe here and the food made it even better!!!!

Best tacos in the city. Amazing find, even if it was on our last day. Get yourself down here, you will not be disappointed. Steak Quesadilla the best of my order, followed by the pork taco, finished up by the chicken taco. All unbelievably good; fresh and full of flavour.

I’ve been walking past this place for such a long time. And finally decided that it was time for me to see what all the hype was about. There is always either a line outside or the joint is fully packed to capacity. I was in need of a quick bite to eat Because I told myself I was not cooking dinner. I wanted something different so I tried them out. I will say they definitely have a market in this location. Who doesn’t love tacos. I decided after looking at the menu options that I would try the pork chicken and beef. You’re able to choose between a regular taco and a sore flower taco I went with a soft flower taco. Once you pay for your order, then take your receipt and move the area where they are preparing the orders they then will take your receipt and ask you how you would like your tacos. Because it was my first time I decided to go all the way and have everything included on each of them. I’ll be honest I didn’t ask what EVERYTHING meant I just went with blind faith. Let me say this if you’re going, and you plan on eating your tacos, there you need to secure an area to eat first. That was one of the things that I found to be difficult and maybe it was just the time of day that I went during the evening, but it was hard for me to find somewhere to actually eat. They don’t offer seating they literally just have standing counters which encourages patrons to eat and run and not linger. Kind of smart of them. Once I found somewhere to eat my tacos, I noticed that they have the cutest little condiments stand off to the side. That offers a various sauces etc that you can add to your tacos. They also have foil sheets and cups for the sauce. which I am assuming is for those who would like to take their selections to go. Hi started off by eating the pork taco and it was magnificent. Perfectly balanced, taste m, sauce, tenderness, everything I really enjoyed the pork. My favorite was the chicken followed by the beef. All three were very good but the pork was definitely hitting for me.. get any of the homemade drinks they offer. I opted for a regular Coke, which by the way requires them to open for you if you don’t have a can opener note for tops here. Overall I would say it was a good experience. The food was delicious a little on the pricey side I believe I paid $25 for my Coke and three tacos but well worth it. It’s a nice treat every now and then if you’re looking for a quick bite, I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely patronize them again. The only negative thing I will say is this lack of seating. Also they have a breakfast options that I noticed they have a line in the mornings for the guy comes out with a cart that sells breakfast burritos and they usually have a line so I’m sure those are good as well.

The food is so authentic and fresh! I love how they even hand make the tortillas! The salsas were delicious too! My favorite taco was the Adobada - the pork taco. So good! I had seen a line outside of this place a while ago and knew that one day I had to come try it. Glad I did!

Win, Win, Win this stand up and eat restaurant has alot going for it. Service was friendly and quick. There was a carnival atmosphere with lovely Mexican music in the background, and to top it off, the food was absolutely delicious. Homemade tortias. Great flavour is to be found in most dishes and sauces.

To be honest, I thought the "No. 1" in the name would be misleading. However, these tacos are the best I've eaten. Everything was full of flavour and exceeded all expectations. The staff was friendly as well and that made the whole experience great. However, do keep in mind, there are no chairs to sit. People eat standing. Also, try the spicy sauces that are on the side. The green one tastes amazing if you can handle the heat.

Heat, freshness, and flavor are three aspects I look for in my tacos and Los Tacos checked each of them off. They really are THE tacos to get if you are seeking out the next best taco joint, definitely hit this place up. They are sharp and spicy, and fresh too. There is so much flavor as well; not a centimeter of them are bland. I also loved how I could just quickly grab them and go eat by the street and carry on with my day. They also asked what you wanted and didn’t, so there is custom adoration as they make it in front of you. I’ve heard them mentioned in a few Youtube videos and yes, they are definitely a place worth trying out!

I went here with some friends for the first time and loved my experience! The line can be long but goes by quickly. The cashier is fast and efficient to get the line moving. From there, you have to give your receipt to the cooks so they can start your order. They will ask corn or flour tortilla and if you want all the toppings. I got Horchata with my order and I would definitely recommend that drink. The tacos themselves were delicious! So much so that we almost got back in line to get more!

Los tacos is the best taco place I’ve enjoyed in New York. The ambiance is always lively and full of energy. It’s the first place that comes to mind whenever I think of tacos. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and I highly recommend pairing your taco with the side of peppers and onions!

TREASURE!!!! The corn tortillas are HOMEMADE (you can see them being made to order) the meat is bursting with flavor!!! This place is little pricey but totally worth it!!!!! Our family stopped here thanks to tour with Richard form “Thermo Sage” as well as many other worthy stops!!! These are the best tacos I have eaten in a long time! Clean, quality - just wow!!! The best tacos place in New york city. I recommend people to go to this location but Chelsea one. Much less people, so easy to have a quality time!

First time here and already planning the next trip back. These tacos were outstanding. I got both chicken & pork - the pork stole the show for me but the chicken was also good. Toppings are great too, and you can't beat the quality for the price!

If you’ve never tried the cheese taco at Los Tacos No. 1 you’re missing out! This is not normally on the menu so you have to ask them to make it but OMG it is absolutely delicious!! My husband and I went in for a quick lunch and he told me about the cheese taco, at first I was skeptical so I just stuck with the basic grilled chicken tortilla taco and he ordered the cheese taco with steak. When I tried his cheese taco it was out of this world! So good that I was thinking about it all day and regretted not ordering that instead.

Delicious tacos, filled generously and we even got an extra. Plenty of space to stand and eat them indoors. The house made horchata is great too.

Fresh, tasty, quick and served with a smile. I am sure there are ‘better’ but I doubt there are many and non can be as consistent! Love this place come at least once when I visit NY. Please open in London, I would eat there every week if not day.

As someone who has lived in the South, I never thought I could rate tacos from NYC as some of my all-time favorites. Definitely try all the meat tacos (carne asada, adobada, and pollo). The horchata is phenomenal as well. They were fairly busy, but the service was great.

Went out with friends quite a while back for lunch and went here to eat. We tried the Carne asada and Pollo asado quesidillas. Amazing, and 10/10 would go again. Highly recommend. Food took less than ten minutes to arrive and the staff was pretty nice!

Delicious, affordable, authentic tacos in NYC! Had a great experience at Los Tacos No 1. Happened to catch it when the line wasn't too long. The corn tortillas are pressed and cooked right in front of you, fresh for the order. The pork adobada was carved straight off of the trompo. creating delicious little crispy parts on the meat. Then topped with salsa and pineapple. Delicious!

This is my go to location to grab Los tacos. They’re never too busy, and service is quick. Can’t beat these tacos anywhere. Corn tortillas are hand pressed to order and they’re amazingly soft and flavorful. Pork tacos con todo with their green hot sauce is my go-to

Loved it. For a minute I thought I was in Mexico lol. Food was great. The corn tortilla taco and corn quesadilla are highly recommended. A must have with all the toppings. No place to sit unfortunately, you gotta eat that food standing up which is a shame if you are there with small kids.

2 tacos for almost $12: steak & fried cactus. Too small to justify. Will need at least 4 to be full. Need to improve on portion. Friendly staff and quick pickup. Long like but short wait.

10/10 would return. Lovely staff! First time at Los Tacos, asked crew for recommendations and it was a wonderful late night’s dinner for sure! Highly recommend the Steak and Pork, Flour Tortillas with all the dressings! Cactus was alright, if you don’t mind the sourness. USD15.75 (incl. taxes) for three tortillas.

We found this place while looking for the best tacos in NYC and we were not disappointed! We asked the staff for suggestions and we got one steak and on pork tacos, both were incredibly delicious and juicy. Though it was our first experience with real tacos therefore our opinion can only be based on personal taste. The location’s pretty basic and the staff is very nice & fast.

Delicious tacos! We went during lunch time, so there was a pretty long line, but it moved fast. Tried Horchata for the first time and it was amazing. I loved every bite of the tacos we ordered. Legit fast and exceptionally tasty food. Will definitely return for more.

Mediocre tacos for an average experience. The tacos here are ok. The tortillas are too thin and impart no flavor or substance. Because the tortilla is so thin, ur 2nd taco is cold before u finish the first. The meat was not bad. A sore lack of seating that could be easily improved.

If you love street tacos 🌮 you’ll love this place. We ordered both the chicken and steak tacos, both were flavorful and juicy. I recommend ordering it with all the toppings available. I’m already craving more.

I had my best beef taco today at this place. Very tasty. The place is not fancy but serves excellent tacos. A quite complicated ordering system got me confused but well worth it. The tacos are difficult to eat but who needs clean hands?

Each bite of the taco was delicious, including horchata. Definitely worth wait in line for.

These tacos are no. 1. If I had to use one word it would be balance. These tacos are so well balanced in their flavor and content. The meat is expertly spiced and the tortillas are unlike any I've had. I highly recommend 2 tacos for a light lunch. The quesadillas are also really good.

Tacos were delicious. The ingredients were fresh. The additional sides were great. They ran about $5 per taco. Good variety to chose from.
