New York Presbyterian Hospital

Hospital

😠 The absolute worst experience. I just had a cervical neck fusion pod2 and could not take oral pain meds. I went there for pain control.. They let me suffer in pain for hours in spite of me telling them I have 10/10 pain. I am a physician and would never allow a patient to suffer like this. People often mention hospital, pain, emergency, room, nurse, nurses,

The valet parking at this hospital will steal things from your car and will even steal car parts from your car. When we got our car back, the engine bay and battery had been tampered with. They then broke the visor mirror when we complaied. Never ever trust them with your car. Safer to park on the street.

If I could give them a zero I would. Worst ER experience of my life . A nurse ran over my left foot with a gurney. Another nurse left a USED needle uncapped on my bed. Stay Away!!!! It was a nightmare.

If you think you are a human being, then don’t go to this hospital, because this is an animal hospital, and they treat patients as animals. My spine was operated on on 11/29/2022, and I went to this animal hospital for emergency treatment on December 10 because of swelling all over my body. Anyone help me, I climbed into bed in pain........ When I was discharged from the hospital, this animal hospital lost my pants and money, and then asked me to wear underwear to leave the hospital, I refused, they took a robe and asked me to put it on When I was discharged from the hospital, I said I just had an operation and couldn’t walk, so I asked them to give me a wheelchair, and they said you can go out by yourself...... This is a hospital without humanity, please don’t come here.

I am so deeply grateful to the staff at the NY Presbyterian ER especially Dr. Neel Kirit Naik and night nurse Natalie. Also entire support staff from intake to technicians. They were kind responsive knowledgeable and no nonsense β€” not just with me but with everyone who came through the door regardless of age race nationality language etc. Extremely clean and recently updated space. I feel very lucky to live in a neighborhood where such wonderful help is so close.

They treat like a number, Aka treat you like trash unless; Staff are extremely apathetic and polarized.

I’ve had 6 surgeries and 2 cardiac catherizations at NYP Weill Cornell and the care was extraordinary from pre-surgery to recovery room and following stay in hospital. Nurses were with me all the time, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. My surgeons were great as were attending doctors and residents. Even the daily food was good!

They changed the emergency room around so instead of speaking to a nurse face to face physically, you are talking through a computer screen. I personally don’t like it! Other than that the nurses are still friendly and helpful. Wait time is always around 2-3 hours.

I went to the emergency room the day before yesterday because I have chest pain. The doctors there could not find anything wrong, and suggest me to see a specialist and promised they will have someone call me the next day for the schedule. Then yesterday (which is "the next day") at 6:55pm, they finally called me asking a lot of details about my preference of scheduling without actually schedule a doctor! What they asked are: do you prefer an appointment in the morning or in the afternoon? which doctor do you prefer? which location do you prefer? etc. I told them it doesn't matter, as I just want to see a specialist as soon as possible. Then they said it's already after hour, so they will call me the next day again for scheduling an appointment, but it has to be after 5pm. (ridiculous!) Then today, right now already 8:20pm, no one called me! And I still have a chest pain!

I came in to the emergency room yesterday and it was a horrible horrible experience. This has to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in the emergency room. The PAs are rude n disrespectful.

Been to the ER twice in the last few months with my gifriend. Both times, the nurses lost her in the system. Don't expect to be out of this ER sooner than 7-9 hours. (168th St campus)

New York Presbyterian creates dangerous hospital environments by keeping their hospitals understaffed, over working nurses with unethical staff to patient ratios, and paying its CEO millions while nurses are underpaid. Shame on you.

Worst experience in the emergency room. After explaining several times that the emergency is not needed they force me to go and charge $150 as deductible besides insurance charges

Disrespectful and racist! This 1 star review is just because an employee (whom I uploaded a picture of) refuse to offer me a hot meal and when asked why she responded with it is just for individuals who have been in the ER more then 1 day. Yet as soon as I turn back to my room she offers {hands & attends 2 plates of hot meal to another individual who i also uploaded a picture of} and mind you that this person literally came 2 hrs AFTER me & left 2 hrs BEFORE me! The β€œnurse is black & apparently the other lady is dark skin as well” smfh it’s acts like these that racism still exist she should be ashamed & discharged. It’s sad because I really trust & seek NYPH😞.
