This
is
for
those
who
are
here
for
labor
and
delivery,
as
well
as
private
room
stay
after
the
birth
of
your
child.
Please
keep
in
mind
that
your
friends
and
family
will
not
be
able
to
effectively
celebrate
this
amazing
milestone
with
you,
for
the
staff
here
implemented
a
rule
to
limit
only
two
visitors
allowed.
Despite
my
wife
giving
birth
to
my
child,
me
being
their
father
actually
counts
as
one
of
the
visitors,
which
in
essence
means
you're
only
allowed
to
bring
ONE
visitor.
Since
my
wife
is
obviously
bed
bound
after
giving
birth,
only
I
was
able
to
bring
our
visitor
up
to
our
room,
which
is
located
on
the
labor
and
delivery
floor
with
various
sections
and
can
be
extremely
confusing
to
people
who
has
never
been
here
and
people
who
don't
speak
great
English.
The
hospital
and
staff
claims
that
the
two
visitors
rule
is
to
prevent
the
spread
of
Covid,
which
would
be
understandable
if
the
staff
actually
took
preventative
measures
to
curb
the
spread
of
Covid.
As
you
can
see
in
the
pictures,
the
checkin
staff
and
the
security
guards
all
do
not
wear
a
mask
when
interacting
with
potentially
vulnerable
people
seeking
sensitive
care
at
NYU
Langone...as
a
result,
our
friends
and
family
had
to
take
turns
going
in
one
at
a
time,
which
prevented
families
and
couples
from
sharing
in
this
amazing
new
experience
together
with
their
loved
ones...
I
really
thought
NYU
Langone
stood
for
excellence
and
optimizing
patient
care
and
enhancing
the
quality
of
life
of
its
patients,
but
this
experience
had
shown
me
how
rigid,
insensitive,
and
lack
of
empathy
the
staff
are.
They
don't
care
about
protecting
patients
from
Covid,
nor
do
they
care
about
keeping
families
together;
if
their
policy
dictates
it,
their
staff
would
relentlessly
and
cruelly
split
families
apart..
Below
are
pictures
showing
just
how
contradictory
their
rules
are
and
how
their
own
staff
don't
even
care
to
protect
the
vulnerable.
