Really bad! They do standard treatment as any regular Dr would. Don't waste your time. What is sad the web site tells you they are different. They wanted $360 for consoltation and I asked if after the consultation they did the standard protocol as other Dr's would I get my money back ? They said no. Its a scam you can go to any urologist and get the same treatment. There website tells you a different story. Good luck

Over 3 hours of waiting in the waiting area, and then about another hour in the office. He called in someone whose appointment was after mine and came in after me, before me. He had what I perceived to be a nasty attitude. I told him about my previous labs and he said "Those mean nothing to me", and that he didn't have them. Then I told him that I sent them in. Apparently he or the assistants made a mistake and he didn't review them. For the price I paid and the time I waited, how could you have not reviewed my lab work ahead of time, let alone getting an attitude with me on top of it? Anyway, I wouldn't recommend.

horrible wait times, terrible staff. visited atleast 3 times with wait times well over an hour, only to be seen for 5-10 minutes. doctor does not provide reasoning and patient education for why certain medications were prescribed other than saying “i prescribed x medication because i recommend it”. shortly after the this review, the practice discontinued care due to this review.

This establishment is extremely unorganized. I scheduled an appointment yesterday for five in the evening. I received an email from an ANAIS at 10 requesting my insurance for verification which I expected. I emailed her around 3:30pm because I wanted to verify that my insurance was in par. Since I did not have a clear response, by my appointment time, I did not attend it. I finally get my response at 6 PM an hour after my appointment was scheduled. With the young lady given me incorrect information which I had to correct her about. I simply responded. Thank you for the clarification but I won’t be interested in an appointment. Why is the same establishment and the same young lady emailing me at seven in the morning About making an appointment? They really need to get organized and stop wasting patient time. UPDATE** Anais deserves an apology. She was the staff member that responded to my question that a MELISSA never bothered to follow up with on.

After seeing countless doctors on Long Island who refused to properly treat a urological infection, Dr. Shteynshlyuger finally saved me after a year-long battle with very severe symptoms. He was the first doctor who didn’t dismiss me or misdiagnosis me. He understood my symptoms and took the time to listen during our telehealth visits. He was professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He gave me the proper treatment, and to be honest, I feel like he gave me my life back. Thank you SO much!!! Top notch doctor!

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. I’ve been going with them for a complicated process. Every visit is like visiting friends. I couldn’t be happier with the results.I have been beyond pleased with the excellent care I have received with Dr. Alex Shteynshlyuger.and his team,they are kind and gentle and have taken years of urinary pain fears away.This is a doctor with integrity, professionalism and ability beyond belief.I recommend this group whole heartedly.

Ridiculous amount of money for a quick consultation, as others on here already stated they are very scammy, even for NYC, outrageous fees to cancel and over 3 hour wait times if they’ve already trapped you.

How Dare you attack him for complaining that you were a terrible doctor to him. instead of making fun of his grammar?! Glowing reviews?! You mean the 3.4 on google reviews? Yeah your professionalism is in question and very evident that you Doctor, need to get back to your basic training. Bedside manner and curtesy are seriously important when your working with real life humans, residency teaches you this but I guess they just passed you. Honesty is the best policy and in your case, inquiring with the patient instead of pretending to know about something you do NOT is not a horrible thing. what happened to "do no harm"? I mean, I know Doctor's are arrogant but sir, you take the cake (or whoever wrote this). Ive had great Doctors ask me which way administering treatment would be best for me. Attacking a patient because they call you out is NEVER OKAY AND YOU SHOULD BE REPORTED (which someone else should do too) you need to get back to the reason why you became a doctor, not the power it affords you over others and their life. I would say I hope you learned something from this incident but I see you haven't. Avoid becoming a victim.

I had a great experience, Dr Shteynshlyuger answered all of my questions and I had a really positive experience during my procedure. I felt comfortable and any problems I had he was more than willing to have me come in to check them out. Also the front staff was really kind and helpful, Highly recommend.

I wanted to convert to Judaism and I know one of their requirements is circumcision. I am so glad I found New York Urology Specialists. Their location is not too far away and they offered a resonable price and a variety of payment methods. The experience was virtually painless and the outcome is looking good.

I. Went from no hard on to injections that made me harder then a corn on the cob. But I wanted something permanent so I received a penny pump. Great service recovery was easy and know all I do is pump twice hards on a dime. Great place staff is incredible

I saw the reviews about this place and was very hesitant to go but something was telling me to go with them and I don't regret it at all, the doctor did a great job and helped me understand the process plus the staff was amazing I would highly recommend it to anyone! quick story after the procedure I was in soo much pain and called the office on a SUNDAY, the doctor gave me a call back within 15 minutes and prescribed a stronger medication, to me that meant a lot for the doctor to take time from his day on a Sunday to help me.

Had a good experience and the staff treated me well and would recommend to any one who needs circumcision.

Avoid this scam like the plague! I made an appointment and IMMEDIATELY began getting texts and emails, each from a different woman, asking to “chat” with me, with a long list of insurance fees and payment options, etc.. It smelled very fishy to me, so I cancelled my appointment by phone, explaining carefully why. That was nearly two weeks ago, and I am still being inundated with texts and emails and calls. There’s something VERY scammy about this practice… if it really IS a medical practice… and should be avoided at all costs. Avoid!

I would give less if possible. I'm an RN and wouldn't send my dog here. Pre-visit- an avalanche of emails texts and robocalls the moment they had my contact info. Visit-The first time I visited here I waited for 2 hours before giving up and leaving. My appt was at noon, was still waiting at 2:00. I had hoped that the provider was worth the wait. When I finally saw him- ZERO bedside manner, zero empathy, cut me off numerous times when i did not provide a yes/no answer. Even if the provider was in my insurance network I would never use him again. Perhaps he's an amazing urologist , but my experiences with the business have completely turned me off.

My husband Flavio and I are extremely grateful to have found New York Urology Specialists and are very pleased with Dr. Alex Shteynshlyuger. We are from Connecticut, but it was so worth it to travel to New York City for the procedure and post visit. The clinic is in the heart of the city and surrounded by good restaurants and walking distance from the Grand Central Terminal; we even walked to the MoMA before taking the train back home, which is incredibly convenient. Everything went well and they were diligent in calling us to schedule the follow up appointments for my husband; we were very pleased to have those (one in person, and the other one via FaceTime.
