What a brilliant place to visit, with breathtaking views of Manhattan and beyond. The whole site is chilled out and you can sit for a long time and simply take in the views. There are also numerous sports courts and the park walk to pass your time by.

Two miles up the road and you'll find another, smaller beachfront called Louie Valentino Park, that ALWAYS has free street parking 24/7 and during weekdays is virtually empty. It doesn't though have a kiddy park or space for ball games but if you're just looking for a more peaceful place to picnic, go fishing, take your date or hang out go there instead. It has a bar and eateries nearby. This park though is larger, is great for picturesque views of Manhattan (very similar to the stunning views from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Park) and areas for the kids to play. Finding street parking is terrible. There's a ferry to Queens/Manhattan on location. Took 2 stars off for lack of parking.

Great outdoor venue. Went to see an outdoor performance via subway. Many lines get you close. Got dinner nearby. Saw the sunset from here with gorgeous skyline views. Took the NYC Ferry home for a scenic ride. Was fun to play tourist in your home town.

Took a drive from Queens over to BBP to get a few pictures of 9/11 tribute. I do it every year but, this year I chose to go to this park. Thumbs up 👍 if you love the pictures I took. 😁 thank you!

Excellent. And next door is Forino....best views in nyc... water, sun, people views....total hit. Food is great. If you are in Brooklyn, or NYC for that matter and do not come here you are making a mistake. Well worth spending a day. 100%

Brooklyn Bridge Park is a good and attractive place for tourists. The giant New York City metropolis is a consistent summer destination for people from all walks of life.  With the city landscape, entertainment options, and public events, it can easily become the premier summer vacation spot.  Locals and travelers alike often find themselves entranced by one of the newest additions to the New York family: The Brooklyn Bridge Park.  This expansive 85 acre park sits on the Brooklyn side of the East River, allowing guests to enjoy the park activities while taking in the gorgeous Manhattan skyline. I like the place very nice.

Love the compartmentalized design of this park. The playgrounds are great but really crowded on the weekends, and with the crowds the parents that don't supervise their kids' behavior and a little chaos. It's hit or miss since it only takes a few unsupervised kids to create an unpleasant environment. We'll definitely be back, though, and we'll check out different days and times to figure out when to go.

The most amazing park in NYC/ Brooklyn! You can find here beautiful waterfront, views on Manhattan, serene place for solitude (Pier3), areas for sports (Piers 2,4 &6), beach, kayaking, and picnic places.

This is a cluster of three playgrounds with different themes and features aimed at different age groups: a) "WATER LAB" b) "SLIDE MOUNTAIN" c) "SWING VALLEY" Kids really enjoy the three distinct, all relatively intimate playground for the following reasons: + Not designed by lawyers but by architechts that understand children and their parents + Embedded in lush greenery + Irregular, curved shapes of the borders of the playgrounds and the landscape of the playgrounds sustains the novelty of perspectives in contrast to gigantic, square playgrounds that can be seen from far away + Landscaping and gated create a cluster of intimate mini playgrounds for different activities and age groups + Plenty of space, benches and stairs for parents to sit on and relax + Playgrounds are surrounded by shady paths that are dark and relatively cool even in the Summer + Not flat terrain, but different elevations + Water fountain + Fences all around so that parents don't have to worry about the kids getting out and running away + Ferry/water taxi is right next to the playgrounds which make the playgrounds easily accessoble for families who live outside the neighborhood + Bike racks nearby There is only one major negative: - - The nearby eatery ("Fornino") has a MONOPOLY, i.e. the food is overly expensive, the portions are small, and served by terminally hip staff with a snobbish attitude. Bring your own snacks!

Plenty to do for everyone in the family. The area is super safe; lots of security walking around. All kinds of food places around the park and the view is incredible. The place to be on 4th of July.

This is a great place to practice beach volleyball and just having some overall fun. However the courts does get rented out so it hard to have a consistent play time unless u arrive early

FOUR COURTS erected on white sand, the facility is part of the wonderful Brooklyn Bridge Park and welcomes all. Between matches, children use the courts as a sandbox, one of the very few with views of Wall Street towers across the harbor.

Great place to relax, walk, run, and bike. There is even a hotel in the area in case your thinking about a very nice luxury staycation. Plenty of food choices, and public transit to the park. One bus drops you of very close to the pier. Also in the summer there is a ferry that takes you directly to governors island (another great place to chill at, walk, run, and get great views of the harbor and the Statue of Liberty)

There is nothing quite like a glorious, sun-drenched day when everyone gathers to witness the awe-inspiring Manhattan skyline. Whether it's indulging in delightful picnics, striking picturesque poses, or simply absorbing the breathtaking view from the lush greenery, the experience is truly unforgettable. And what better way to enhance the moment than with a scoop of delicious ice cream? This delightful combination guarantees a perfect outing that never fails to please.

Come for the views; stay for the pick-up Volleyball match. BBP has space for everyone. Take a stroll along the waterfront with a pie from Juliana's and an Oddfellows scoop. You won't be disappointed.

Love love this park. Very clean, great view and nice water parks for me and my toddler. I only wish I lived closer. We would visit this park everyday.

Much less crowded than the area of the park between the bridges. There's a little gourmet store just s few steps away and Forninos pizza, and Odd fellows ice cream kiosk . Weather permitting, there are charcoal barbeques available, you have to bring your own supplies. There is also an NYC ferry stop directly by pier 6 that will bring you to South Brooklyn, also to Wall Street pier 11.
