Let me preface this by saying, I like my GP at this office. However, trying to get prescriptions authorized is like pulling teeth. I called this office last Thursday to request refills for my maintenance medications. This was after numerous requests from my pharmacy that had been ignored. I confirmed with the representative the pharmacy to be used. Shortly after that conversation I received an email from Optimum RX, a mail order pharmacy, saying my medication order had been received and would be shipped out when ready? I did not receive any word that my Prescription had been received by my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy and they confirmed that they had not received any scrips for either one of my medications. I spoke with a rep who was very helpful in trying to sort this mess out, however, this charade is repeated every single time I try to to re-authorize my medications. Literally, every time.

Not a very pleasant experience. Wait was ok. The person that sees you and collect info before the doctor was very pushy in me having x-rays. Now, I went in because my knee was bothering me for running, clearly no bones broken, I suspected I needed an MRI and wanted to get it checked. Her words: “In order for the insurance to reimburse you for the MRI you need to get X-rays first”. I objected this was a waste as clearly I didn’t need them. She insisted “…I’ve done this for a long time, I know how it works!”. I finally said I didn’t want to. With that awful feeling of annoying the people you are asking to heal you. The doctor was ok, in less than 1 min he told me I have a tendon inflamed and my knee was stable and ok. Physical therapy would get me back in 2-4 weeks. Wait. What would have happened if I said yes to the X-rays. I called my insurance: they said absolutely no need for X-rays to reimburse for MRI. However, if I had done the X-rays there, I would have had a copay. Here we go: corruption at its core. I bet she has incentives on the number of X-rays she prescribes. The doctor was good, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable going back, particularly if something requires me to trust them.

Bordering on (if not full blown) malpractice. As others have stated it is near impossible to get RX refills. The most recent time I have been waiting two weeks, have called four times and sent two emails. I keep being told that the RX will be authorized for refill by X date. That dates comes and goes and there is no refill authorized. I have now been out of my medication for almost a week which is dangerous and has caused me serious health concerns. Eventually I had to go to a new doctor and get a new RX. While I really liked my doctor here, this is not acceptable.

I would not recommend this place. End of last year I went in for an annual physical and without my consent Dr. Marwa had sent a bunch of tests. I am a healthy woman in my early thirties with no history or previous health issues. I understand the clinics want to be able to charge fees as much as they can but at least they should go through all of the tests that would be run because my insurance doesn’t cover the test entirely. Here’s what was more outrageous, after my physical , Dr. Marwa called me to tell me my results and then she tried to sell me on their nutrition program. Excuse me?! I exercise regularly and feel very healthy and eat well! Stop trying to sell stuff to patients! Shouldn’t doctors care more for their patient wellbeing than be salespeople?

Sharing my less than average Mt Sinai experience. I had blood tests ordered once and they told me to have them done at lab corp because lab corps internal system reflected whatever was in the Mt Sinai system. When I got to lab corp they said that this wasn’t the case and Mt Sinai had to fax them the request for the tests. The annoying thing is that you can’t just call Mt Sinai and have someone action a request in a timely fashion, you’re put grouch to a call center and not even the people at the center can contact the Mt Sinai location you need to speak to. I was in the waiting room at lab corp but Mt Sinai told me that it would still take 2-4 hours. The next time I had bloods ordered the exact same thing happened - but this time I called Mt Sinai ahead of time and asked them to fax the blood test requests over - I was told over the phone that this wasn’t necessary and yet here I currently sit at lab corp after being told they need to have them faxed over. Silly me. I can’t get through to Mt Sinai Greenwich I can only get through to the call center. And it’s a 3-4 hour wait. I’m sick and I made the effort to come here. So this system where you can never contact people at the office you want to reach is just really poor - and there just isn’t internal consistency on how Mt Sinai and lab corp operate. It’s nonsense. I hate using these guys

Absolutely unprofessional personal. Did not conduct peer to peer with the insurance to cover the MRI for 4 weeks. Give them a call numerous times and got same answer : “someone will call you later”

Scheduled a dermatology appointment and was asked to limit my visit to one issue only. Profit vs quality of care much?

The front desk was abysmal. I walked in and saw these eight women lying on sofas doing nothing and they told me there was no appointment today. Even though I hadn’t received any cancellation email or text. In fact I received a CONFIRMATION text the day before. They interrogated me if I have checked their website right before coming in, like that’s what you are supposed to do before an appointment? I didn’t expect apologies from these lovely individuals but I didn’t expect one of them to laugh at me in my face either. Truly unbelievable.

Please avoid this office! Recently had an annual PCP visit, which has probably been the worst in all my life. I used to see Dr. Hashemi who was amazing but no longer works there and switched to Dr. Eldik. I requested specific testing to be done the day of my annual visit to Dr. Eldik and the nurse, and they both repeated what I wanted done verbatim. I waited for my results for over a week, messaged the Doctor and she responds by saying that they never completed those tests and I would have to come back another day to do the labs. They completely ignored my requests, although they said they would complete them and just never did, even though it was written in my visit summary! SMH. In the same visit she prescribed me medication and confirmed my pharmacy but sent it to a different pharmacist 3 times! Clearly they do not listen here and don't take matters seriously. Please avoid if you can, you'll find a better team elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible. My experience so far: 1. Tests that were meant to have been ordered were not entered into the system, despite the primary being reminded on subsequent visits 2. Tele visits that required follow up bloodwork: when the clinic was called to schedule the bloodwork / phlebotomy, they actually looked for the doctor's availability which is an incredibly idiotic thing to do given that blood is drawn by a nurse and sent to the lab. Why does there have to be a follow up for a blood test the doc wants to do? Is it sheer stupidity or is it their way of making more money? 3. Doctors seem to be in a rush and do not pay heed to what you have to say or any symptoms you are experiencing.

DO NOT GO HERE. I would rate this practice 0 stars if I could. Not using my English name for privacy reasons. Had the same horrific experience as below commenter Grace with Dr. Eldik. She and the staff here are the most unprofessional, money-grabbing bunch I have ever met. I went in a for a routine annual; I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I did the regular -- height, weight, bloodwork, urinalysis. As part of the "annual questionnaire", Dr. Eldik asked me if there were any other health things out of the ordinary that had occurred recently. I answered her question (keep in mind she asked ME this question), and I told her I had an incident last week when I was dizzy and blacked out. She charged this one question (which I did not even ask her; she asked me; I did not ask for medical resolution for this issue; She recommended an EKG and I said no thanks) as a full office visit, separate from the annual. I received a ridiculous bill in the mail for it and after inquiring with the office, they told me that it was because she had to make "extra decision making and offer a diagnosis" on this question about dizziness -- which I did not ask her about. She asked me this under the guise of being part of the annual -- such an obvious money grabbing ploy. If I had known she would charge me an entire doctors visit for this one question she asked me, I would not have answered it. My insurance reached out to them separately and even counseled me to "not answer any questions at the doctors' in the future in case they want to charge you unethically like this again." How sad is it that we live in a world where we can't even answer questions about our medical history accurately. I have been trying to resolve this for over 5 months, and my insurance has tried to get through to their office as it is the practice's responsibility -- To no avail. I didn't know I should be taking a tape recorder into my doctors' visits to ensure they don't scam me. I thought that as a medical professional you should care about the wellbeing of your patients, but it looks like Dr. Eldik and her staff only care about the money, even willing to go through unethical means to scam patients out of it.

I arrived on time to my 12:15pm appointment today. When I got there I was told that the doctor had called out sick and I would need to reschedule. I was shocked as I had received multiple messages confirming this appointment. Apparently they sent an email and a MyChart message to notify me earlier in the day. I did not understand why no one tried to reach me directly by phone. I asked for my preferred method of communication to be changed to phone and this was not acknowledged. The receptionist staff were totally unsympathetic to my frustration in wasting time and money to get to this appointment from NJ. The staff was also just plane rude. On my way out after rescheduling for the next available date that was a month away one of them said “have a nice day” in a very fake-nice tone and then they all laughed as I left.
