This children's museum had a well-organized layout, with clean stations and restrooms. However, I'm rating it 1 stars due to the overly attentive staff, which made me feel like they were constantly monitoring my every move. This level of oversight felt invasive and made the overall experience quite unpleasant. I felt like I couldn't breathe in peace. It was a constant parental policing that left me feeling uncomfortable. What's more, I was concerned to see staff taking pictures of the kids without parental consent. The staff's approach did not promote independence at all; in fact, it seemed like they wanted parents to be constantly hovering over their children.

It is a beautiful museum and the staff is super nice and dedicated. My kids 5 and 3 had an amazing time. We read books, danced, jumped, play pretend house, looked at some animals and play in water. We stay from 10-1 pm . It was amazing. I recommend to bring some extra clothes because both of my kids got wet playing at the water table. Very nice atmosphere.

What a great place to visit with your little ones. It was fun, exciting and very clean. The staff was so friendly and interacted well with my 2 year old, making her excited to jump right in and play. Playing at the water station was probably her favorite thing to do while we were there visiting. I have to say the Bronx Childrens Museum comes at number 1 out of all of the children’s museums in the 5 boroughs that we have visited. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

What a beautiful children's museum! It's so well thought out - from the space layout to the creative activities and the amazing ways they tie in the Bronx to everything - kiddos to the creators. The only thing is I wish the museum was easier to get reservations for! And I wish they were able to host birthday parties 🥳

I finally had the chance to visit the museum. You have to reserve a date and time before you go. I saw the water feature, the nest, the arts & community but I didn't see the cloud featuring Bronxtopia. Everything was going well until I asked one of the female staff at the welcome desk was the upstairs opened because I saw people going up there. The older Black female staff interjected and stated that's not for you with a stank attitude! I was perplexed because I didn't ask her anything. If this woman is a manager, she needs to be trained in customer service. Overall, she made the energy shift in the room. I recommend the museum for children 7 and under. But there's not too much to do there.

I have been waiting for the opening on the Bronx museum and it’s finally here.!!!!! I went last week with my family and We love it there. the water exhibit was my girls favorites. The facility is clean the staff is tremendously kind. My favorite was the art room. Some exhibits are still not open yet and currently it’s by reservation so be sure you do that before heading there. overall it was an amazing experience I will definitely take my girls again.

Very nice children’s museum, vibrant colors and interactive. Because of reservations it wasn’t over crowded. It had a very heavy emphasis on Latin/a/x/Hispanic Culture, so I wonder if that is the standing focus or if different cultures are highlighted monthly, yearly, etc. Nevertheless, it was great for us to learn and experience! Bathrooms are accommodating. Loved how they had a low sink for children. Overall, it was great and I recommend going.

We had an absolute blast! So proud of the BX! The facility was extremely clean, the employees were all friendly upon entering. The greeter/security on the first level gave great suggestions when she saw how young my son was and we took her advice and had a great time in the wonder space play area. Nom was super incredible with all the little ones and we all enjoyed story time. I absolutely recommend taking your little ones here. It’s a nice treat and easy to locate.

This place offers such an amazing experience. I truly enjoyed it with my kids. I went to other children's museums in the city and this is my favorite one. I was worried about it being timed but it was so much better this way. They have activities, story time, end of day parade . Was a great experience.

Absolutely fantastic! My little ones enjoyed it definitely seems for younger than 8 years old crowd. Highly recommend this interactive museum like no other I’ve seen in the east coast. They had donation fee entry once you walk in. The staff was very patient and friendly. Very clean and safe environment.

My 1 year old grandson had an amazing time. There were so many activities from reading a book to touch a shell of a real turtle. I'm so happy this jem is located in the Bronx . I definitely recommend you take a visit. It is less busy during the week.

They clearly don’t know how to fix an error. Going on bunch of websites and it states that they accept EBT discount when In reality they don’t , and clearly made you leave if the tickets are not available. I have travelled 45 mins to take my child to this museum to just to be turned down. Never again will I come here

I enjoyed the Bronx Children’s Museum so much. I’m from this borough so it gave me particular joy to see our cultures represented in staffing, in the programming, the art on the walls and the overall atmosphere. It is not only stimulating for children’s curiosity and a place to make friends, but also a place that builds community in our borough. Wonderful experience! Special shout out to the staff (one mother son team and Ms. Keke). They really offered so much care and kindness to the children. I felt so at home.

We had an amazing time, sooo much to do there for my 16MO, he loooooved the garden and the water area...they have smucks for them to stay dry but those are cloth 👎🏻 so he was soaked anyway... if they had something waterproof it would be much better but he loved it. So I suggest you bring a change of clothes for younger child that doesn't play carefully with the water 🤣. I also wish there was a cafeteria or place to eat with a table. Only place to eat is one bench for all these kids... no table to put ur food down. Museum doesn't have a parking we parked in near by mall in the garage. We really had a great time and will be back.

The only Children's Museum where we don't feel like we have to take a shower after. Need to buy tickets in advance. Always have fun arts and crafts activities and the water feature is a family favorite. We have driven from Brooklyn many times. Staff is always great. Go there. You will thank me later.

An absolute gem for children which commemorates the different cultures of The Bronx. We went with our 16 month old and there was no shortage of activities. We mainly stayed in the nest area, a large play space with several gross and fine motor activities and toys. My son loved it. The interior space is gorgeous, airy and clean. We needed a space like this for our children and my heart is full to see the Bronx Children's Museum exists. It exceeded our expectations.

We visited this museum with our students who have special needs, and require certain accommodations due to sensory and unique learning needs. The staff was so warm and patient in how they interacted with our students and in how they included them in the varied fun, interactive centers/exhibits. Our students had fun and were kept busy and engaged with Adriana, our museum teacher for our arts & craft activity and live animal adventures, as well as Adam, who looked after us throughout our time there. They had sensory toys (and a cool sensory bag) on hand for those students who had trouble waiting--impressive! Our teachers were so grateful to them for giving our students such rewarding experiences.

Amazing isn’t even the word! Went with my 2 daughters ages 2&3 this place is never ending fun for the kids and surprisingly enough I had fun too! So much sensory and age appropriate activities and toys! This place is beyond words for me and to have some place like this so close to home is truly amazing!!!
