I've had a painful bunion condition making it difficult to wear high quality office shoes. I was referred by a trusted friend who had this procedure at Gotham Footcare and was extremely satisfied with the results. I come from a family of physicians so am well-versed in what good care and good faith practices look like. This is NOT that. My insurance was billed exorbitant amounts for each visit (I'm talking 700+ dollars for taping my foot, thousands more for a 10-minute progress consultation, $1,200 for 30 minutes of physical therapy). They use bogus modalities like whirlpool and ultrasound and try to get you in the office 4x a week. This is what insurance fraud looks like.

I had an injury that I had went to urgent care for. I called Gotham Foot Care in hopes they could see me asap and they had a same day appointment available! The entire staff was incredibly helpful and nice! The doctor and nurses were amazing and I left feeling 1000% better about my injury and my healing journey. I will be returning and recommending to everyone I know!

My experience was (is) great I have nothing negative to say. From the inviting and relaxing very first visit at the main office to my post opp care has been nothing but first class. The complete staff at Gotham Foot Care is 100% accommodating and warm. Waiting time during visits are short to none. I truly felt as though I was being treated as a VIP. I would recommend to an anyone.

I have had the pleasure of seeing my doctor and physical therapist at both Gotham footcare locations! This particular location is amazing because it's located within the beautiful Woolworth building. Everything about this facility is amazing and I would recommend anyone and everyone to it! This is the best podiatry group in NYC!

I went to the downtown location of Gotham to evaluate a long-standing podiatry concern and can't stress how kind and gracious the manager and Surgical coordinator, Lilli, was. She walked me through the steps of the procedure, as well as how to manage the cost of treatment. Without her help, I wouldn't have been able to afford this life-changing procedure. Her medical assistant, DJ, was incredibly warm and empathetic, as well. I met with Dr. Kim, who is a wealth of information. She was forthcoming about the treatment plan, as well as gentle and understanding of my apprehensions. I'm so glad I found Gotham.

This was my first visit to Gotham Footcare. In a word….wonderful! The staff was friendly, very helpful, and made we feel welcomed. Dr. Kim listened to my reason for the visit, ask questions to better understand the ailment, and set up a plan to help. She is very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I’ve never had a more pleasant experience at a doctors office! Juanita always welcomes me in and greets like like an old friend — her bright and positive attitude always puts a smile on my face and I feel so well taken care of. Nadia too, chats with me while providing all the best therapies for my foot, helping me feel at ease and comfortable. Dr. Battaglia is stunning in her care as well, and was able to diagnose my foot injury better than anyone else I saw, rapidly getting me into a boot and making me feel held and supported 100% of the time. Brandon Park, my physical therapist, also helps me feel so encouraged as I do my exercises and it’s such a pleasure showing up even though the injury sucks! I’m hugely on the mend though, and am always so happy to be around this wonderful staff.

I've been here three times and it's been a pleasant and welcoming experience each time. I came in with a PAINFUL bunion on my right foot that they we able to fix on the first visit. The last two visits have been follow ups for whirlpools and electotreatment. Nadia has been super helpful in helping navigate the follow up visits and each doctor has been super pleasant and informed. I'd highly recommend this if you are dealing with foot issues and are looking for a friendly place to go.

At 24 I realized I need to get hammer/mallet toe surgery for 3 toes on each foot. This was daunting and I had to do a lot of research into who would be performing the surgeries. I picked Dr. Sanaz Lalehparvar and it has been the best choice I’ve made in over a year. From day one I’ve had trust in her, just due to her friendly demeanor, and how she patiently answered my ALL of my questions and concerns without rushing me or interrupting. It was a breath of fresh air. After the surgeries, I was blown away even more by her detailed care of me, communicating every step of the way, and checking in on me frequently. My toes look amazing just as we discussed they would look, but most of all: they are functional. I have had such a pleasant experience that now my sister is also seeing her and loves her as well. She’s very down to earth. Also, the rest of her team were amazing, from the phone support, the surgical coordinators, and everyone who cared for me during surgery. Brian, who is helping me with pre/post surgery recovery has been very supportive and always super delicate and takes his time. I never had to repeat or remind him to be gentle, he just always was and I really appreciate that. Thanks again everyone, I’m going to recommend you to everyone I know that needs a foot doc in the city.

Great experience at Gotham Footcare. The office staff is very warm and friendly. Dr. Battaglia spoke gently and seemed very knowledgeable of my diagnosis. Happy to have this team guide me through my feet issues.

Dr. Madhuri Mehta is my podiatrist at Gotham Footcare at the mid-town location and she is such a pleasant doctor to work with. She had diagnosed my feet with plantar fasciitis and she personally performed a Tenex procedure on my feet one at a time. I was very nervous at first however, Dr. Metha talked me through the whole procedure which set me at ease. She also played her own personal playlist off her cellphone which was made up of a unique lineup of unusual versions of current music you hear on the radio. I liked that. Surgery duration was about 20 minutes and I was able to walk out of the office on my own two feet. A week later she removed the bandages and my pain was gone immediately in that foot. Highly recommend Dr. Metha at Gotham Footcare.
