I
booked
a
room
for
my
birthday
through
Expedia.
I
contacted
the
hotel
a
total
of
3
times
to
ensure
my
stay
would
be
perfect
because
of
course
it
was
for
my
birthday.
The
hotel
cancelled
my
reservation
a
day
before
my
arrival
date.
When
I
contact
them
to
understand
what
happened,
they
tried
to
tell
me
I
was
the
one
who
cancelled
my
reservation
which
would
have
been
impossible
because
I
booked
it
under
“non
refundable”.
When
I
contact
Expedia,
they
confirm
to
me
that
the
hotel
indeed
cancelled
my
reservation.
I
then
asked
Expedia
to
call
the
hotel,
see
what
explanation
the
hotel
would
give
them.
The
Expedia
representative
asked
me
if
I
ever
stayed
at
this
establishment
before
and
I
said
no,
this
would
have
been
my
first
time.
Come
to
find
out
apparently
whoever
represented
the
hotel
told
Expedia
I
was
on
a
“list”
to
not
be
serviced
and
that’s
why
they
cancelled
my
reservation.
Neither
I
nor
the
Expedia
representative
could
understand
how
that
could
be
if
I
never
stepped
foot
in
that
hotel.
So
when
I
call,
the
hotel
tells
me
they
don’t
have
such
a
list
and
that
they
are
not
responsible
for
my
cancellation.
Terrible,
just
terrible.
