I have breakfast here every Wednesday and it’s fantastic. The wait staff are super friendly and my coffee cup is never empty. They have 3 huge rooms for events separate from the diner itself just incase you want to hold any type of event. They accommodated any changes to the menu you make. Parking is easy they have their own lot.go enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Coming inside, we were greeted warmly by the staff and tended to us very well. I had a regular Bacon Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato fries. The food didn't take long. Average wait time. The atmosphere is a little old fashioned as is normal with many diners. Definitely not a bad thing. It's a family friendly environment and clean. My burger was good. I forgot to tell them to cook it medium, so I ate a well done burger. Good nonetheless. Food was good overall though and will visit again on a casual basis.

Been coming to Dakota for over rwo decades. Always, always, always a good choice when you're not sure what you want to eat or when you are craving something specific... their burgers are always great (I get mine with roasted garlic on top! OMG - so good!), Romanian Steak always perfect, Breakfast for Dinner, and so on. I've even had pasta dishes that are made better than restaurants that cost twice as much

Our food came out in less than 3 minutes. Mine was an eggplant wrap with fries. Eggplant was stringy and hard to chew. Fries were very salty. I told the waitress. She did change to order. I then had chicken salad wrap which to me had a bit of a sour taste. I spoke to the woman in front, and I believe the owner. He took the dish to the kitchen. The woman came back and said I'm sorry, nothing we can do, we already changed your order twice. I had a stomach ache. Had to use a bathroom on the way home. With that being said, I will no longer ever eat there. I was told 5 people tasted the chicken salad. You changed my order twice because you didn't cook it right the first time. I should have not ordered again. But I hadn't eaten since breakfast. Customers always right, sorry. We paid the bill. I was told the chicken salad is made fresh daily, I don't believe them. There are barely any customers. The same full pies are there day after day. We have been there before. No more. Menu is seriously lacking, unless you eat burgers. We were also greeted by flys

Solid food, quick service, chill atmosphere. What more could you ask for from a diner! Recommendation for the hungry: mike's hungry breakfast. Plenty of food

Friendly place everyone is nice. They make u feel welcome. Fast service. u dont have to wait long After placing ur order. It comes out fast. Good tasty food, fair prices one of my usual places for brunch served all day! Always satisfying .

Spectacular food the environment was clean just need a bigger parking space

This is a great diner! And they are open very late. Which is great. We got there like 12am. Waitress was very very nice and the food was great. The only thing is that you have to pay at the front when you leave and I when I went to pay. (So 20% of our bill was like 8 dollars.) I told the cashier to please put an $8 tip on my card. Left, Went home and fell asleep. This morning I just so happen to look at the receipt and SHE DIDN'T PUT ANY TIP. . the 8 dollars is no where on my receipt. Maybe she was exhausted and didn't hear me correctly , I don't know. But now I feel so bad for the waitress because She must be hurt that she didn't get a tip and I said 8 dollars. Please make sure they charge the correct tip for your waiter/waitress when you leave.

Shared a meal with friend. We were not disappointed. The half pound burgers were juicy and delicious. Loved the sweet potato fries. Had a Sunday, could have used hot fudge. Still very good.

I cannot say that I was pleased. The service was good and I don't mean to be mean. Big Portions. I just didn't like it. 😕 The food was overcooked, I paid my bill I gave my 20% Tip but they really need to fix the air-conditioning and fix up the place.

My boyfriend and I were planning on going to IHOP but the parking lot was packed. We decided to give this spot a try instead, since it's right next door, and I do not regret the decision! Best Diner I've been to. Very quiet atmosphere, and extremely friendly. We were served by Nana and she was super sweet. Their French toast was amazing and they served delicious fresh fruit 🍓 the hospitality of the staff was wonderful! :) I'd definitely recommend to anyone visiting Staten Island for the weekend. They really made us feel welcomed and the food was made with love.

Alma took my order and she is such a sweetheart!! The quesadilla was amazing and the hot chocolate was delicious and just what I needed for today. Will definitely come again!
