Today I brought my mother in to get a haircut. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. I’ve been a client for years with Sachi as my stylist, and she is truly a gem! Not only is she highly skilled, but she made my mother feel beautiful and confident with her new look. Sachi understands hair types/textures and is always honest with her opinions. As a black woman who has struggled with hair, she’s made a difference in the overall quality of my hair and taught me so much. Don’t think twice about visiting this salon, you will be so happy you did!

Sachi at Salon 718 Dekalb is the best hairdresser I’ve ever been to in NYC. I go to her every week for a blow dry and curl and it’s perfection every single time. She doesn’t hurt at all and is very gentle on your hair. My hair can literally last me over a week when I go to her. Shes the best!!

This was my very first visit to 718 Salon. I had a wonderful experience. Faith was my stylist and she did an Amazing job on my hair. The services I requested were relaxer, rinse and cut. Faith cut my hair to perfectly frame my face. She also had a wonderful personality very professional and friendly. I plan on becoming a regular customer. Cynthia is so good…that I worry she will decide to retire one day and I wouldn’t have her to design my curls anymore. Run don’t walk to make an appointment with Cynthia. She single-handedly brought my curls back to life after a decade or so of Brazilian Straightening. Cynthia also happens to be incredibly kind and lovely. She’s wonderful!

Nicole is amazing. She did an awesome job with my cut and balayage. But beyond her skills, she was incredibly accommodating to make sure I received all the services I needed despite my last minute scheduling. I’m so impressed with her positive attitude. I was a first time customer and Brandon gave me an excellent blunt cut. We had a quick consultation when I first sat in his chair and he gave me his recommendations. He also showed me exactly where he needed to trim and why. The whole experience was amazing and I’ll definitely refer my friends to him!

Ello was absolutely amazing! This was my first time ever at a hair salon even though I’ve always wanted to go and get my hair professionally colored and she definitely exceeded my expectations. I love my new color! And it’s so hard finding a stylist that specializes in curly hair so to have found Ello makes me so happy. She slayed my hair for my birthday!
