While it is a chain, Applebee's feels like a high quality restaurant of typical American food. I wholeheartedly recommend the pork ribs with BBQ sauce. The Times Square location is very large. It was not too crowded. Their prices are moderate/high, in line with their high quality.

Located exactly on the middle of Times Square - Manhattan, NYC. It’s a tourist place so it always jam packed especially lunch or dinner time. The service was quick and attentive. For us, the price is s bit expensive but anyway it’s NYC .. If you want a better view, go up to level 2, sit beside window and you will have a better view of Times Square. Note: To dine in, prepare your vaccinations cards.

We had brunch here and they have all day breakfast. The food serving is huge. My omelette was nice but too oily for my liking. My partner's breakfast sandwich was good as per him. This is close to our hotel. It was pleasant in there and the waiter is 10/10. Very polite and has attended to us from start to finish. Not bad for a restaurant.

We had a phenomenal celebration @ Applebee's on New Year's Eve, First, the staff was courteous, interactive, and attentive, they went above & beyond to see that my family and ALL ATTENDED were enjoying the evening. Second, the food was scrumptious hot, and on point. Lastly, the entertainment was so fun and added to the night I would come back especially if there staff was bringing the same vibes high energy.

We visited here on a Monday just after lunchtime, wasn't too busy, only a few people in. Friendly greeting on arrival by Dane, which was lovely and he got us our food in good time. We had pasta and a side dish of fries and I had a chocolate milkshake and a lovely cuppa. Great surroundings, bright, clean, nicely decorated. Loved the little apple carvings out of the backs of the chairs. Food was tasty and milkshake yummy.

Another restaurant that has become enslaved to excessive price increases simply because it's located in Manhattan. I think most people know about the 2 for $20 at Applebee's. Maybe it's 2 for $24 at some locations now or maybe even 2 for $26? No big deal. Prices have been going up everywhere, I get it. But 2 for $37? At APPLEBEE'S? If this wasn't stupid enough, out of the 12 entrée options they offer, only TWO of the options are ACTUALLY 2 for $37. The other 10 entrée options have an additional $3.99 or $4.99 charge. So the 2 for $37 can quickly become a 2 for $47 simply if you order 2 burgers. The appetizers are no better. $17.49 for the spinach dip with chips. Anyways, since we didn't want to pay $47 for a couple of burgers, it made more sense to go for the steak. As far as steaks, go, mine wasn't terrible. I got it cooked medium and it was cooked medium and tasted like what you'd expect from Applebee's. The second steak, however (which was also supposed to be medium) was VERY rare. So we were like okay, fine whatever. Mistakes happen. Told the waiter about the problem and he said he would recook it (kinda weird to re-cook a steak in a restaurant). He ended up bringing a new steak (don't know why he said they would re-cook it in the first place lol). Anyways, the second steak was just as rare and so we had given up and just took it to go and re-cooked it at home. I'm also very skeptical that the second piece of steak wasn't even top sirloin, but I don't know enough about steak to know for sure. Also, the waiter (who unfortunately shares the same name as me) wasn't very attentive either and would consistently leave the table without saying anything, not even an "okay". On the bright side, the restrooms were clean and the coleslaw was great and I'm not even a coleslaw person. The boneless wings were also good, but definitely not worth the money if you want to buy them outright.

I came here for lunch during my visit to New York, the food was delicious, better than I would imagine, the mango/strawberry smoothie is so good, service was good too! The only bad thing is how pricey Applebee's is (the sirloin steak I got is under £30!) I would come back to my next visit to New York! (I did go to times Square after)

I have visited Applebee's before and had a good experience however not at this place! Positives: -My partner enjoyed the Chicken Alfredo. -Nice Cocktails. Negatives: -The staff do not care about their jobs at all, rude service, waited over 20 minutes for anyone to take our order, had to go and find someone to get the cheque. -The ribs were extremely tough and had little to no meat on them, they were inedible so much so I complained and asked them to take it off the cheque. -Several people had the same issues.

Tip bezahlt.

We just wanted a quick bite to eat after a long day travelling and Applebee’s did do the job. The food was okay, but the service was great. The chips were actually really good. The steak was tough, the boneless bites didn’t really have any flavour and the burger was undercooked, it was very pink. Cocktail was cheap and very nice though.

I came here to celebrate my nanas' 99th birthday. I started at the bar with an amazing perfect margarita. Later, we dined on chicken quesadilla and chicken with fries and broccoli. Let's not forget the lava cake

There is no combo discount. Can get crowded. Obviously, parking is rough. So you'll likely going to have to walk some distance. With that out of the way, you can expect a higher than average Applebee's experience. Bob, our server, was funny and diligent! We appreciated his service

We were greeted by great staff immediately and I was surprised how quick we were served. Food was really nice and the waitress was very attentive

This is the world's largest applebees, which also means it's kind of a maze of levels and rooms and kind of feels disorienting. There are even tables in the basement that feel like you're in- well- a basement. On this visit, service was prompt and the food came out quickly, which was perfect before a broadway show. However, we got the shrimp salad, and it was- incredibly underwhelming. The shrimp were kind of greasy and also undercooked and cold, the lettuce was watery, and the dressing was pooled on the bottom of the bowl.

Nice.and friendly service. We got in as a table of 4 at 0850, and by 0915 it was filling up. Drinks were nice and Danny the server was helpful and busy. Main menu item, and drink each, plus tip works at $25 a head. Seems consistent with other diners. Would happily return.

Way more expensive than prior years. Inflation hit everywhere, but these guys may have upped the prices more than they should have. Food is tasteful, place is not as clean as you'd expect. Bathrooms are somewhat filthy.

It’s always a great time at Applebees! We went for the bottomless boneless wings and they were divine. The wings were hot, fresh, and glistening with the perfect amount of tasty sauce. The french fries were a distraction but a necessary evil, I suppose. Our server Lipu was very attentive and was always quickly refilling the wings and drinks. Even though he was balancing many tables at a time he provided excellent service.

We had an amazing time here. Great food, great ambience, awesome service. Thank you Andrea - for making our dining experience here that good. If we could give 6 stars for service, we would!

I was so hungry I chose this place because name was familiar and it was not crowded. Now I know why. Food appears to be heated from frozen. It took forever to receive our order. Asked for burger as rare as possible and it was well done. First time at Applebee’s but menu is boring and nothing caught my hungry eyes. My only positive was it is on the second floor and had kind of a cool view of Broadway. See photo.

We went here on Thanksgiving without a reservation, so it was quite busy but still the staff managed to make everyone happy. We had an amazing waiter and a great meal and the Long Island Ice tea was so good too. I would definitely recommend going here! (The music was great as well!)

Food is nice and good quantity, the place is nice and there’s music playing which makes the environment better. The only thing is the prices are a bit expensive. These two plates with a coffee cost us around 40$

I have been to this location more than once with my family, most recently today. Each time there were no issues with food or service. I am writing to address two things specifically. 1) Server Karina is awesome. Karina is nice, has a nice personality, checked-in with us more than once, and even helped out when I knocked over my cup of water... 2) Regarding the 18% included gratuity people are writing about. Yes it is "included" on every receipt. But, it does state it is a SUGGESTION. By no means is it mandatory. Before you even get your receipt, you can read about the 18% suggested gratuity on the cover of the menu when you get it.

Tyipcal American restaurant chain, as featured in The Office with Michale and Jan, tried the dinner special, sirloin steak and ribs, good fall of the bone rubs, but overly sweet and well prepared steak done medium rare, garlic greens beans was probably the star of the meal

The waitress was nice but she forgot to put our order in and did not realize until 40 minutes later. We were starving. We wanted a refill on our drinks and it did not come until 20 minutes later despite asking multiple servers. When we waited a long time for our server to come back with the check.

Located in one of the most tourist area so don’t expect this place to be quiet. We had a good breakfast here, the pancakes were very light and the whipped cream tasted fresh. However they don’t serve real maple syrup, this was the only downside. The breakfast burrito was spicy but tasty. The staff is super friendly and efficient.

Huge place with two floors-and an elevator for old crocks. Host and server staff are very friendly and efficient and the cocktails superb. We enjoyed our starters and mains and quick sorting of the check. Steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli well worth a try.

Had a great experience here last night celebrating a friends birthday. Haya and Edwin provided amazing customer service and were attentive to my table and I. The food was also delicious and the restaurant was right in Times Square. I liked that the restaurant wasn’t super loud and the wait time was short as well.
