It
was
shockingly
not
good.
I'd
previously
heard
decent
things
about
the
pub.
Boy,
was
I
in
for
a
surprise.
Originally,
I
was
ordering
fish
and
chips.
Unfortunately,
they
were
randomly
out
of
it
(on
a
week
day,
too)
Let's
start
from
the
beginning.
Walking
in,
the
first
thing
I
noticed
was
that
there
was
no
accessibility
button,
nor
anyone
to
open
the
door.
(Huge
red
flag)
There
were
about
15-
30
tables
total
(it's
semi
split
into
"2
rooms")
,
but
there
were
only
about
6
tables
of
people
(including
my
brother
and
I).
I
would
say,
maybe
12
people
total.
I
thought
that
was
going
to
be
a
great
thing...it
wasn't.
There
was
only
1
table
with
a
booth...
the
rest
were
high-top
bar
chairs.
Again,
where
is
the
accessibility?!
There
was
supposed
to
be
live
music
(per
their
advertising
outside
and
inside),
but
there
wasn't.
I'd
asked
if
they
could
put
on
France's
match,
but
the
staffer
(not
sure
what
their
role
was)
that
I
asked
seemed
quite
confused,
then
disappeared
after
we
asked
for
beers.
Another
person
(waitress)
came
a
good
while
later
and
asked
about
our
bevs.
We
assumed
the
keg
might've
been
tapped
or
something
because
it
was
taking
quite
a
while.
We
never
received
water.
We
ended
up
ordering
the
shepherds
pie
and
a
medium
burger
and
fries.
The
burger
was
so
over
cooked,
I
swear
the
cow
was
back
for
revenge.
The
shepherds
pie
was
very
tasteless,
which
is
tragic
for
such
a
simple
and
well-known
dish.
But
the
fries....it
was
like
Jesus
himself
planted,
cut
and
cooked
them
🤣.
I
know
that
seems
obscene,
but
they
really
were
perfect.
The
noise
level
wasn't
bad...
but
then
again,
was
only
like
6
tables
in
the
whole
place.
I
can't
get
over
the
extreme
lack
of
accessibility.
And
that
the
only
booth
is
right
in
front
of
the
restroom.
Unfortunately,
it
was
being
held
for
a
small
group
(semi
understandably
as
they
were
there
first
)
While
sitting
and
trying
to
eat,
a
guy
walked
up
and
started
grabbing
things.
Not
clearing
the
table
(
after
all,
we
were
actively
eating),
but
just
grabbing.
He'd
had
parts
of
my
utensils
and
my
napkin
in
his
hands
before
I
could
say,
"No
,thank
you.
We're
still
eating.
"
I
now
needed
new
utensils
as
his
hands
were
all
over
my
fork.
I
could
have
dealt
with
it,
had
it
not
been
the
whole
mouth
of
the
fork.
The
guy
seemed
very
stressed,
so
I
just
didn't
worry
about
it.
Besides,
we'd
had
enough.
We
couldn't
finish
our
meal
and
had
been
waiting
almost
45
mins
before
anyone
else
returned
so
we
could
ask
for
the
check
(which
took
another
24
mins).
We
assumed
the
computer
must've
been
broken,
but
when
I
leaned
to
signal
one
of
the
waitresses,
they
were
just
standing
there
chatting.
Again,
I
assumed
"there
must
be
something
happening."
Fed
up
and
seeing
the
sheer
pain
I
was
in
from
the
chairs,
my
brother
asked
again
for
the
check;
this
time
a
bit
firmly,
which
earned
us
the
evil
looks
as
we
left.
We
paid
for
our
meals
and
headed
out
of
the
door.
While
thinking
to
myself,
"Well,
it
could
have
been
worse.
At
least
we
know
now.
Maybe
they're
having
an
off
day.
We
will
have
to
try
again
another
time
when
they're
better
organized,
and
their
accessibility
meets
the
bare
minimum.
"....the
waitress
chased
after
us
yelling,"Guys!".
She'd
asked
if
there
was
something
wrong
with
the
food
because
of
the
tip.
Seeing
the
shocked
look
on
my
brother's
face
and
hearing
the
stern
tone
in
his
voice
when
he
responded,
"yea,
the
service.
We
should
have
been
out
of
here
an
hour
ago,
"I
intervened
and
listed
a
few
of
the
issues
we'd
experienced.
There
wasn't
an
explanation
or
apology.
She
simply
scoffed
and
walked
back
inside.
Unfortunately,
her
audacity
to
chase
after
a
customer
😒
after
such
mediocre
service
was
the
final
nail
in
the
casket.
The
tasteless
and
dry
food
(except
for
the
fries),
The
lack
of
accessibility
and
The
lack
of
professionalism
of
the
staff
is
all
the
reasons
why
this
pub
is
on
my
"not
worth
it"
