Do not book here! They are not open yet but accepting reservations! They do not explain that when booking because their hope is that they will be open by the time your reservation is there. HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!! We figured this out and were able to move our reservation to the Holiday Inn Express about 4 bocks away. If you book with EVAN and by the time your stay happens you will show up to locked doors with a hotel main line disconnected! They you will be moved to the hotel one block over! Just ridiculous that this is not mentioned at booking! Save yourself the stress and DO NOT BOOK until they are open!

The hotel was great for the night we stayed (in February, midweek). The room was clean, neat and comfortable (definitely small, but that is to be expected when staying in NYC). I was really impressed by the details. When I first walked into the room I noticed workout equipment (yoga ball, black, mat, resistance bands, etc) and when you turn on the TV it opens with their streamed guided workout channels. Love that! The under the bed lighting was nice, as was the behind-the-bed lighting that you could set to any color scheme. The room included a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was very clean and had sliding barn doors. The hotel was accessed via key card after hours, and you had to have a key card to use the elevators. We went out to eat so I can't say what food options there are in hotel. They don't have parking included, but it is directly across the street and all valet. Check in was easy and quick, and they were very friendly. I would absolutely stay again!

The EVEN Hotel located just minutes away from Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, multiple subway stations and several eateries; this hotel was an awesome place to stay with its tranquil feel. I arrived extremely early on my check-in date and was ready to just store my baggage and take a long over due walk around the city however, the front desk clerk was super accommodating and was able to get me into a room immediately (thank God 😊I really didn't want to walk in the rain). The room itself had a health spa feel and while waiting for the rest of my party to arrive I relaxed on an extremely comfortable bed passing out in moments. While my view of an adjacent building and on going construction left much to be desired once I closed the privacy shades all was good and surprisingly QUIET. This hotel offers a game room, a very cute seating area that would be nice to hold an event. Without question this is one of the better NYC hotels. Would definitely recommend as well as stay here again.

PROS: Finally! A hotel designed for those of us who care about our health and well being. Let me start off by saying the rooms are immaculate and well stocked with anything you need for yoga and stretching. There is even a workout guide in the room. One of my favorite parts about the room was the color changing mood lighting and the spaciousness compared to other NY hotels. The hotel is spotless and equipped with an impressive gym and design. If I wasn’t traveling solo, I would definitely play some ping-pong in the recreation room. Absolutely stunning interior for its size. CONS: the dinner service leaves much to be desired. I will admit that it was one of my least favorite meals I had. Although it tastes relatively fresh, I did not really get “healthy” vibes from it as is advertised... just some soggy, fatty wings that weren’t tossed in the sauce (though I will say the Mac n cheese was great). The addition of a juice bar and healthy bowls would be a great touch. My only other suggestion is to improve the check in process. When I arrived, I was never given my drink ticket, told how to access the gym, told how to access the bike share, and laundry, etc. I think these perks make the hotel stand out and I felt uncomfortable having to ask for something that is “free”.

I had a great stay at Even Hotel. The room was clean and lovely. The bed was very comfy. The only downside was the tiny closet. The staff were very friendly. Convenient location with walking distance to Times Square and Penn Station.

I make it a point to stay here every time I’m in New York. It’s a really quick walk (no more than 5 mins) to public transportation at Penn Station which has the Long Island Railroad (20 min ride to JFK airport), New Jersey Transit (25 min ride to Newark airport) and Amtrak. Madison square garden is also right there to catch an event. Ten min walk to Times Square. Rooms are immaculately clean, beds are comfortable and the hotel and rooms are up to date and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a room at the front desk where they can secure and lock up your luggage before you check in or after you check out so you can explore. There is plenty to do and eat within walking distance. I love this hotel. Rooms are quiet, not many rooms on each floor, 25 floors in total in the hotel.

It was my first time in New York City this past weekend and I stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were small but nice. The AC worked super well (especially compared to another hotel we stayed in). The theme of the rooms are very "wellness" oriented but it's cute. The gym is super nice and there are other nice amenities such as the breakfast and the game room. The location was perfect for what we needed.

We loved our stay at EVEN Times Square. Staff were incredibly attentive, rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities were great. I found the rooms to be a bit bigger than a standard NYC room, which was nice for how centrally located the hotel is. Rooms were very modern and fixtures were quite nice. One thing that makes this hotel unique is its wellness theme. The 24-hour gym has a Peloton machine and our room came with fitness bands, a yoga block and yoga ball in it. I had never seen this before! The bar staff were great and we were even given free drink vouchers from the desk upon checking in. The food options at the lobby restaurant were really fantastic too. Overall, EVEN was just really high-quality. I was impressed by the ease with which we were able to navigate everything the hotel had to offer, as well as with the exceedingly kind staff. Many thanks to the EVEN team and I highly recommend staying here on your next visit to New York.

I love this hotel! The room was very nice, clean, and spacious! The staff were also nice and efficient. Check in took me maybe 5 minutes or less. Wide screen tvs, walk in shower, mini fridge, exercising equipment, even color led lights on the bed frame! 10/10 would come again! It is within walking distance of public transportation and the main road, but I would just say the surrounding location does not look the best.

I stayed here for 2 nights and I mentioned I want a high level room but I only got a mediocre to low level room with no view at all. The room was small and cozy but modern style and clean. There was no iron and ironing board in the room and when I called the front desk ( had to call multiple times for them to answer) they sent me a broken iron that leaks the water out of its tank. I also enjoyed the trash in front of the hotel on my way in and out. They do have luggage room if you wanna keep your luggage there to pick it up later in the checkout day. The location was good and within a walking distance from Times square.

Outstanding property and a great price. Steps from Penn Station (A, C, E) trains and MSG. Staff was super helpful and our room was clean, modern, and way bigger than most NYC hotels. Had 4 people and it worked fine. Workout room is also huge and has Peloton bikes. This is probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at under $150. All the workout-centric touches are super cool too (yoga mat in room, water bottle stations throughout, free gym clothes laundry, etc). Can't say enough positive things!

Superb experience! This is a really nice, super safe, military-friendly hotel in an excellent location (close to a subway station and right down the street from the NYPD). All the employees were extremely polite, professional, and accommodating, going to great lengths to store multiple pieces of luggage for several hours after my family and I checked out. Housekeeping worked around our sightseeing schedule to ensure our room was maintained daily. The gym was spectacular — best I've ever seen in a hotel. The general manager (John Beck) was awesome as well, taking the time to personally answer my email question about rates when I booked the room. I can't say enough about this exceptional hotel. I will definitely stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. On the evening of February 4, 2024, I went down to the bar to order food to my room. It was around 9 pm, I just ordered 2 mack-and-cheeses. I went up to the room and when I opened the box of food, it was moldy. And the macaroni came with rotten cheese! I don't understand where the hotel management is looking? Is it acceptable to sell rotten food? The hotel itself is not bad, clean. The staff is very friendly! But the bar is just disgusting! Who sells expired food!

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. They compare countless booking web sites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is the best rated in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. Beautiful rooms… super spacious with a work area and workout area so i was beyond satisfied. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable. I even ordered the pillows they have from their line to my home. Extremely clean room-100% happy with my stay.

The hotel room was super clean and fully equipped with workout gear. It’s small but a decent size for a NYC hotel. The staff were friendly and they have a water station in the lobby. There’s also have some lounge space in the hotel lobby. They gave us a voucher for a complimentary welcome drink upon checking in. There are two sets of elevators and sometimes there’s a wait during prime time. You do have to scan your card before going up as well.

Great hotel. Service is brilliant. Everyone has been very helpful. I've enjoyed the location as it is slightly out of the hustle of Time Square. The hotel is right next to the A, C and E line and entrance to Pen 34th St station. Good if you want to travel down to the World Trade Centre (about 20 minutes on subway - single ride ticket costs $3). Hotel has a gym, in room gym equipment (ball and resistance rope/band), workout sessions on the TV, good range of TV channels including HBO, bar, restaurant that offers a limited evening menu but a really good breakfast choice. Overall a really good choice and well connected. I've posted a picture of the hotel (the one with the colours at side of building) taken from 'The Summit'. It gives a good view of location of hotel with the East River at top.

24 hour gym! Near Times Square! Bagel shop across the street! My room had workout gear and an exercise channel… I felt like I was at a healthy living retreat… in the middle of NYC! Such a unique and pleasant experience! And very reasonable pricing!

Stayed here for 5 nights for our first visit to New York for our 1st wedding anniversary. Location is great. Breakfast is also great and I would advise people to add Breakfast as its a good way to save some dollars eating in the expensive tourist spots. Rooms very clean and decent gym in the hotel. You can get your gym clothes laundered each day free of charge as well which is fantastic. Staff are also lovely. Overall I would recommend.

Fantastic hotel. 100% recommend. I'm one of those 'reads 553 reviews before booking people'... this locations 5 stars are all on point. Clean, good climate control, friendly staff. It wasn't too loud with the windows closed. No waiting for elevators. Keyed entry to lobby after 9pm and elevators all the time . The onsite restaurant is decent with reasonable. There's a little delicatessen at the end of the block past the police station (extra safe). Amazing sandwiches and bagels, super cheap. Here's he view from our King room on the 19th floor.

Overall great stay. I'm happy to report that my family enjoyed their stay, and as a native New Yorker I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the rooms. I needed to find an affordable, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel. I'm glad I chose EVEN, bc I almost didn't due to some recent reviews. But I also know NY and the cost of accommodations during the holiday season. I booked my cousin and her son a double room which was extremely spacious for NY! Def a + and then location was another +. They were able to walk to Time Square, Rockefeller Center, and the EDGE which is walking distance. Also, my cousin's son loved the rainbow lights in the room. THANKS EVEN for hosting my fam during the holidays.

Had a wonderful stay for 4 nights here. Outstanding hotel, extremely well priced, perfectly located and SHOCKINGLY quiet considering the proximity to Times Square. The staff were lovely. The rooms are fairly small, but hey....it's New York. People rent apartments smaller than those rooms. Besides the quiet, we really appreciate the location. Easy walking distance to anything Times Square/midtown located. As an added bonus, subway stops steps from the room. We won't stay anywhere else in Manhatten. Thank you IHG and EVEN Hotel! See you in the Spring!

We came here on a family holiday. My wife myself and our 4 year old little boy. The hotel was great and the staff were friendly. Workout equipment in the room was good and my little boy enjoyed playing with all of the equipment too. Rooms were clean and quiet. They were a good size compared to others we have stayed in in the city. Location to subway was super convenient. Able to walk to a lot of places locally ( times square, Rockefeller plaza and Hudson yards was easily accessed ) Only downside was the volume of homeless people approaching for change etc very close to the hotel if you were using nearby delis etc. Never to a point we felt uncomfortable but something to consider. Would stay here again.

Convenient location, clean rooms, friendly service! Love the variety of workout equipments in the room. The room was bigger than I expected, definitely large for NY standards. Water pressure and AC were great as well. We were super comfy!

Great location at a great price! I stayed for 10 days and I definitely recommend this hotel in NYC. Great staff, super friendly that are always willing to help with any needs. The beds are super comfy and the rooms was always super clean and impeccable. Penn Station is just 2 minutes away. If you are looking for a great place to stay in NYC this is the place.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. What I love: - Hydration station (water + ice) on every floor. So very convenient and I love that I can refill my own reusable water bottle! -Yoga mats in rooms. I loved being able to do floor workouts in the morning. -Peloton bikes in the gym. I did find the straps to wear my sneakers with them a little cumbersome to adjust as they were kind of rusted. -Game room. Playing ping pong is a great way to decompress after a long day of working in front of screens. -Fitness laundering. I loved not having to pack multiple sets of workout clothes -- EVEN will launder yours for free, same day! Just make sure you put them in the reusable sack by 9am for pickup at 5pm. -Eco-friendly toiletry options. EVEN has wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and two types of shower gel inside the shower. No wasteful tiny bottles here. -The staff. All team members we encountered, from front desk, to maintenance, to housekeeping, were friendly and helpful.

Remember to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down. Great value. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms. Our room was on the 15th floor and It was very quiet. I have no complaints. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. 2 blocks from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay here again.

The beds were so comfy! We were impressed with the size of the room and the exercise equipment. This is a cute and quaint hotel that it right next to a Subway station and walking distance to Broadway shows. The staff were also super friendly. Our room was always clean. Highly recommend!

I booked this hotel using the Hoteltonight app. Got it for under$200 so a good deal for Manhattan this time of year. The property looks recently renovated. The room was large (it was an accessible room) and looked very clean. The beds pictured are fulls and the one I selected comfortable. A/C worked well. In fact everything worked well. Kudos to the best blackout shade I’ve encountered so far. The shower was large and I imagine would accommodate a tall person in a non-accessible room. Great pressure and plenty of hot water. So why not a 5? I had an adjoining room and could hear my neighbor (actually their cute sounding kid) early in the morning. And it’s at least a two block walk to anything. Overall it’s a 4.5 and if I could stay again at this price I would.

The room is super clean, smells amazing nice n cozy- nice decor. Work out gear in the room- thought that was odd- but cool too. My wife got us a nite in the city and a Rangers game for Xmas- 2 blocks from MSG- and all the night life. This Hotel is so worth the stay. We live on Long Island so it was nice to stay in NYC for the night.

The workers are Friendly, I love walking into a fresh clean room smell, very organized. Pet friendly. The price is reasonable it's very close time square and others attractions. Only one down fall is that there's no parking valet ,you have to find your own and no breakfast but above all I recommend this hot spot

This hotel is one of my favorites in NYC. If you are a healthy person that lives to keep working out while on the go look no further. This is the place for you,!!! Just the best of the best.

Rooms are clean, modern and the beds are comfortable. However, too overpriced for the service you get. Simple amenities that every other decent hotel provides cost extra on top of the already expensive prices.

Excellent staff all around, which is rare in these times. Will definitely return. I liked that there was everything there for a safe in-room workout.

The showroom looked updated recently. Very satisfied. Staffs are super nice. A free water bottle and the hydration center that provides free water/ice were nice. A table tennis table next to the lobby was awesome. Wanted to give 5 stars but one star removed for two things. A welcome message on a white board in the room: "Wel cum ^^". My 7 yr old boy didn't undertand but my 12 yr daughter insisted we should report..she was upset that is not appropriate. Hope the cleaning folks could remove for young visiters. Secondly the rubber parts of all ping pong rackets were partially ripped off.

We had a wonderful visit over President's Day Weekend! They have large, clean rooms, a great workout center, yoga equipment in every room, as well as a "game room" with table tennis, foosball, and a large TV. Great hotel for families or for student field trips. Hotel restaurant has healthy, fresh food at a price point that is very affordable by Manhattan standards. It's easy to get to both public transportation and walk to certain tourist attractions. However, I do consider this "off-the-beaten path." With other NYC hotels we have stayed at, you walk outside your door and you are surrounded with restaurants and shops. This place is much quieter. My husband actually prefers this location, as he is a light sleeper. The staff is friendly, too. Also has strong security, and your key card can only access the floor with your room. We truly loved our weekend here.
