If you know what you’re getting, this place is value for the money. I found check-in simple, I only have a roller bag so luggage isn’t a problem for me, and I use public transportation so no car to park. The room is very small, but it’s NYC so I expected that. I only sleep and shower there anyway. Bed was comfortable, TV worked. Signs of wear in places, like the shower ceiling is peeling paint from the moisture. My little window had a great view. One day I tried to shower late like 9:30am and there was no hot water so I advise showering the night before or get up earlier. There was a guy on my floor who was like the housekeeper or something, who was always nice and asked me if my room needed cleaning, or if I was checking out. He was observant, attentive, and helpful. Summary: For this price and this location there is good value here. If you’re snooty then stay at the Waldorf.

The price of this hotel, at the time we stayed (October 2022- $750 in total for 2 nights) was NOT worth it. To start the check in experience is not great. You have to literally wait until 3pm on the dot to check in. 1 second earlier and it will charge you $60. For a hotel that is so “hip” you would think you could just check in if a room was ready. 2. The wifi was not fast and didn’t really work well. It would work one minute and completely not work the next. 3. This hotel at one time was probably really great, clean, new, and tidy. However in 2022 that is not what was experienced. Things were broken, ruined, ripped, and out of service. To name a few, the water and ice machine on our floor were out of service. The bag area where you can store bags was out of service and not working. The elevator was ringing loudly for an entire night with only one elevator working causing back ups with lines for the elevator. The bed frame was ripped and torn up and looked rather mangy. The bathroom was not truly clean it looked just wiped down —with stains from over the years. Also the bathroom shower leaks out the glass sliding door creating a puddle and soaked floor towel, which was super dangerous since the floor was super slippery. A few positives of the hotel: The monsoon shower. The water pressure and dumping of water felt amazing after being out all day exploring. The bed was really comfortable and had the ability to adjust the head placement. The location is a couple blocks from Times Square and was very walkable. Overall I would probably never stay here again. The price was not worth the amenities or experience. I’d look elsewhere to book.

Poorly maintained rooms with frustrating technology. Unable to call customer service (there's no phone number anywhere!). The bathroom faucet leaked and shot water everywhere - I got wet pants and socks every time I used the sink. Overall the room was cute and had potential but it was dingy, poorly maintained and overdue for an update. The shower floor is pealing. The room lacks good lighting and was very dark. Check in was painful - I tried to check in on the app at least 10 times and when I arrived I was directed to a kiosk that also failed to check me in. I finally needed to have an attendant check me in manually. The location is nice and the hotel has potential if the technology is updated and the rooms received some maintenance. Not bad for a budget stay if you can get a room under $100/night. Watch out for their fees!!

The room was very clean and the location is great. Unfortunately, this hotel has not aged gracefully, and a lot of the room features were broken or damaged. Missing fixtures with holes in the wall? Yep. Phone and TV not working (especially problematic if you want a wake up call or access to amenities)? Check. The window helped with noise reduction from outside, but you could hear everything from the hallway (like the sound of footsteps on the carpet, and every word of spoken conversations in the hall by passers-by. ) for the price, there are better options available in that area.

Magnificent hotel near Times Square, in Manhattan, New York, with new style and a minimalist design, which make it, very different and special. It let you feel like home. The staff is very polite. Prices and taxes are in the average just like others, but the relationship within quality versus price is optimum. Customers are a mix in general, but there are young people also. It worth it!

I have stayed in this hotel for over 15 years every-time I come in for trade shows in NYC. Love the rooms and hotel. However due to COVID I decided not to stay, I called a week before canceled two room reservations they could not find one and second even with cancellation number they charged over $400.00 on my card, and said I was no show. I spoke to reservations got the run around. I was told manager would call, which they never did. I was transferred to front desk no one answers, I called accounting no one answers. Yet they had no problem charging card. I WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN. If this is how you treat a long time client. And I absolutely will be telling my hundreds of clothing representative colleagues that if you cancel they will charge you anyway and never answer phone to refund fraudulent charges. In these times with no one wanting to stay in NYC hotels you would think they would take care of the few that are coming! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

The Hotel has an excellent location, making it easy to get to most of the tourist attractions visited. The room is small, but quite comfortable. The tilting bed is a very smart solution for being able to move around the room and watch TV comfortably. The bathroom with its glass walls is quite peculiar. I missed the curtains in the room, to increase privacy. The staff was very attentive and the restaurant is very practical. The outdoor tables make the place very beautiful. It was worth staying at YOTEL.

Before Covid I stay at this hotel and it was a happening place and it was very well maintained. Sure, the rooms are small, but laid out well. HOWEVER, thinking that the hotel would be the same as it was before, I was surprised to find that it was VERY run down. Scuffs on walls, rooms falling apart, and simple things that could be fixed were not. As you can see in this picture. I was VERY disappointed. This coupled with the fact that many floors smelled of strong marijuana - despite signs saying it is a non-smoking hotel. Staff was not particularly warm or helpful either.

This hotel is totally overrated.not worth all that money I spent...room very small that the bed was so close to the door.small bed supposedly Queen size. I doubt it...even the mattress was uncomfortable 😐. No ice bucket.no fridge and we had to keep asking for towels.at least it was clean but I'll never stay in a place like that again...too much money and bad on everything else

You get what you pay for. Considering location in Manhattan, room size, and nightly rate (even with lose lovely fees), you're still getting a comparatively good deal. This means that you're staying in one of the cheaper hotels in NYC - so you deal with what comes along with staying int he cheaper hotel of any city and the undesirables that come along with it. That being said, the value of this spot is solid, and they really do make it feel more worth it than other mini-hotel deals. Most of the people staying here, saw other cheaper hotels and simply went with this without being sure of what they were getting in on. Staff are good at what they do, for the few times you'll interact with them (the check-in process is done via tablet kiosk). The terrace and restaurants are a nice touch if you're not feeling like going out but don't wanna stay in your room all cooped up. And on that note, the rooms, they are definitely smaller than what you're used to, but that goes for about every hotel room in NYC - they're all space efficient. Also, being such - no fridge or microwave. For me that's no big deal, but for some that could be a deal-breaker. Choose for yourself. Know your location. Research it up without other people's attached feelings and make the choice for yourself. I consider myself a pretty budget-minded traveler, and pretty much always find myself here as a go-to spot for shorter and longer stays.

Please do not waste your money at this property. You are better off spending a bit more for comfort. 1) the rooms look like a strange ship and very small and highly uncomfortable. They have a remote control that powers the bed, so when you lie it flat, you have no room to walk. They also refuse to let you see another room. You are stuck with whatever you got online. 2) if you arrive before check in of 2pm, they will not hold your luggage for you. Forcing you to stick around the property, or go pay for a self storage place. 3) they have automated your check in, very little human touch and the place feels ghostly empty. 4) the staff who works here won’t help you or be flexible They continue to call you “love” as a substitute for customer service. It is offensive to have multiple concerns that they will not help you with. And call you love, hoping to brush it under the rug. 5) the decor is strange and cold, not hip at all Please do yourself the favor, pay the extra 50 and find a more comfortable accommodation with real customer service.

Second time staying here, the hotel was a bit cleaner the first time around but location can't be beat. Had trouble checking in and out on the kiosk even though I used the official website to book. Clerk was very nice and helped us check in early at 9am. We got a west facing room with a view of the Hudson. Rooms have ventilation windows, cold AC, and a very comfortable, reclining bed. Bathroom doesn't offer much privacy but water pressure and heated towel rack were appreciated. TV channels and ambient lights were a plus. Slept very well here and central location made it easy to stop by between activities.

Small room with basic amenities. Will never ever recommend this to anyone. The most painful experience was room service and hospitality. They charge $30 as resort fee but they won't offer any service. My overall experience. 1. Travelled with my wife. While I was parking the car ,my wife was standing at the hotel entrance for almost 30 mins, as the hotel staff says you need to wait here till the primary member comes. Most pathetic welcoming experience. 2. Request for towels was like useless. Made at least 4 calls . It never came, the only answer was we have raised a request for the housekeeping department. 3. Dropped an email 2 days in advance to request for a room with good view, but never heard back from them. Honestly, worst experience ever. I would never ever recommend this even if they charge 50$.

Went last minute New Year's Eve and they had the cutest little cabins very modern but not much space. Even though the room wasn't big it still felt cozy and the bed was nice and soft. The staff was friendly and inviting and we were right in the middle of everything! Would definitely book there again, was on the 26 floor great view👍🏾

Our room was nice and the price was good (but there are tons of hotels with good rooms at the same price in the same). I was quite disappointed because out over 17 floors there was only one floor that had a working ice. The ice machines are very small so with everybody in the hotel using only one you could maybe get enough for one small cup. And that would take about 10 minutes. You'd get a little ice, wait for the machine to make more, get a little more ice... Also the robotic luggage storage was not working upon arrival or departure. We were there for 4 days. The staff didn't offer anything as compensation for the non-working ice machines or the inability to store your luggage. I specifically chose this hotel because it offered luggage storage and ended up carrying our luggage all over with us the last day of our stay. The rooftop deck is nice but it's my understanding anyone can access it you do not have to be a hotel guest. The lack of concern on the staff's part and offering nothing in compensation for the $125 fee that you pay upon check in that I have no idea what it's for - I would recommend staying elsewhere.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH PARKING. You drive your car into the parking lot and the attendant takes it and parks it for you. Was told I cannot use my car until I leave which is fine. Had to access my car mid stay to take some medication from it and was told I am not allowed. After arguing for some time and being told they were going to call the cops on me if I go to my car, I was given an “exception”. Horrible customer service, customers shouldn’t beg to access their own vehicles if needed. At the end the parking attendant is waiting for tips, not happening, work on your customer service skills. I am leaving an expensive vehicle with you, should be more accommodating to customers needs. Great location. Rooms are small which is fine, comfortable bed, ac works great and it is quiet. Horrible bathroom arrangement as it’s just a glass door and zero privacy. Extra breakfast we payed for was good, the service was bad though, takes forever to get a coffee/water/juice. The pros are not worth the cons, won’t be back.

I made a last minute booking here on 9/1 and would definitely return again. self-check in and out was a breeze and the staff were very helpful when it came to making the key card. the rooms are smaller than average but I loved them. the bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, and the room was thoroughly cleaned. you can tell the hotel isn't brand new but nothing is too drastic that will negatively impact your stay. the location isn't the best as it's kinda far from time square but the affordable price point definitely makes up for it. the only thing I would add is a grab and go market, they only had vending machines with limited amount of items. will definitely be staying here in the future.

Location is what makes this hotel even remotely recommendable at beat. Julie at front desk was very nice which is the best I can say. This is a motel, not a hotel. Elevator from parking garage didn’t work, not even one luggage cart , no one to help with the luggage, no refrigerator in room which was shocking, and if you are concerned with security then this is not the place for you. This is not a 4 star hotel, 2 at best and worth nothing more. Room was fine since we weren’t in it long but having not refrigerator was not great and no ice machine.

The location was excellent so easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The room was small but clean and perfectly adequate. The hair drier supplies was a good one and the shower was lovely and powerful. The bed was so comfortable we slept really well. The temperature of the room was nice and easy to change if needed. The view was good from the 16th floor and it wasn’t noisy at all. The only downside, and it’s very small, was the glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom doesn’t give much privacy so best to share with someone you’re close to and comfortable with. What made it for us were the friendly and helpful cabin crew always on hand with advice and help with transport if needed (we didn’t but others did) or to leave you luggage with or just have a chat about your stay if you stopped in the lobby. Would definitely recommend or return if I ever get the chance.

I’ve been coming to this location for a conference every year for about 8-9 years now (minus Covid years) and the place has gone way downhill. Water damage and mold around showers, non working towel heaters, missing curtains, broken water dispenser, badly working TVs and worn foam mattresses are just the start of this neglected property. Got woken up by a German cockroach at 1am. So that wasn’t cool. I packed up my stuff and demanded a new room and I was initially denied one but suddenly one was available when I said I wasn’t sleeping with cockroaches. The new room was not clean, coffee stains in the desk and same issues as above but I just wanted to sleep. Open the sheets only to see they’re dirty with some substance. Packed up again and back down I went. They sent someone up to at least changed the sheets so I could get some sleep but overall not happy about the situation. It’s impossible to reach the front desk from the room phones as you get an infuriating “AI” bot that never wants to get you a human. It used to be a quirky clean little hotel close to Javits and walkable from Penn station in a sea of mediocre places on the west side. Now it’s fallen behind and in desperate need of a renovation and pest control.

Rooms are extremely tiny. When I arrived I requested an upgrade due to the size of the room and was told it would be an additional $100 charge. Of course I thought that wasn’t that bad, but the next day I saw that they charged my almost $300 more for the change. I’ve been contacting them for 3 weeks now and have had no one contact me explaining the charges. This is completely unacceptable and not how you should treat your customers.

Great concept extremely friendly staff, nice location. It wasn't a bad experience from staff they were all great, just a lot of things adding up. Marciano I believe his name was PHENOMENAL ‼️ After having my first issue at self checking with my name and reservation number. So I have to go to the front desk. Then a lot of little things in a room, I see the owner has responded to other reviews to report while we're here but, I will address it in the morning. I did have engineering come once because sockets don't work in the room, there's light switches that you don't know what they go to but they had a different lighting system. They could put the vase plates over the wall and take those switches out. Plugs didn't work close to the bed so I had to keep getting up and going white charging and their known issues because engineering pulled out the blow dryer to show that worked in the plug but, the charger for I phone didn't. The AC can't go under 68° it's winter with the window open and the room is still warmer then we'd like. They don't have fans to offer you. The bed didn't work at all. The towel warmer didn't work and there's other stuff but those are all the things I can think of now. Oh only one USB port was working out of 4, could probably use note friendly details. (I didn't address it all because, I didn't want to go through the hassle engineering being sent again when I called the second time about the AC and changing rooms and potentially have issues in the other room. Then I would have just been more frustrated) again great staff ‼️ Oh the shower wall plate spins when you adjust the water. (not sure if it's supposed to)

Dirty, old, small and uncomfortable room, and I booked two sizes up from the cheapest room. The hidden fees only made clear at check in increased the initial low price by more than 50%. For the total cost I finally had to pay I also could have gotten a real hotel room. Finally they charged me money for storing my luggage for an hour after check out, and that I had to pay in cash. I guess the only good news is that I got my luggage back and nothing was stolen. One of the worst hotel experiences I had.

Well, after the first shock , overall not too bad. But its not a 4×hotel. It is very small. The bathroom basically in your room. No privacy at all. The walls stained (mold). I can not say it was clean. It is definitely need upgrading. The bed was uncomfortable. However, location is good. Everything very close by. Good transport , time square 15 min walk, restaurant are walking distance. Staff are helpful, polite. As I said not to bad, but it was out of my comfort zone.

If you're looking for a unique, futuristic place to stay at, this is a good choice for a good price. The check-in area is done through tablets in the lobby. We had some issues because of how a third-party site arranged my partner's name, but the staff was very helpful. The main attraction in the lobby is the luggage robot, although we did not use the robot - just admired it from afar. Our room was cozy... even a bit small by NYC standards, but had a good layout. There was room under the bed for our suitcases. The shower and bathroom are basically in the room, which I thought was cool. If you're tall enough, you can watch TV from the shower! The only issue we ran into was figuring out how all of the futuristic things work, and the A/C was a bit tricky at first. Once we figured everything out, we really enjoyed our stay. Location is good - it's a few blocks west of the core of Times Square, so it's not as loud as other parts of the city that we've stayed in. We'd absolutely stay here again.

This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever booked. My partner and I paid for two nights in a single room with large queen bed. After check-in we noticed the room had a strange smell, a mixture of wet socks and mildew which was really gross. The curtain that separates the bathroom and sleeping area was missing and after speaking with the maintenance they said this was done because of "safety reasons". My partner also noticed rusting metal on furniture and appliances which we concluded was due to poor ventilation from the bathroom and shower since no fan, door or divide blocked the steam from coming into the sleeping area. Carpeting was old and faded and because of the strange smell we feared mold or fungus might be growing in the fibers. We paid around $900 total not including taxes or resort fees which the hotel refused to refund so we left and booked another stay outside of Manhattan. To say this was a disappointing experience is a severe understatement. The check-in process was also quite troublesome, the front desk attendant didn't give wifi information and was vague about the hotel amenities. The fourth floor is a nice space and includes a restaurant which seemed cool but unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to enjoy either. Pocket your money and stay somewhere else this place is totally disgusting!

Just 3 blocks west of Times Square puts this in a solid location. We booked 3rd party which gave us really good rates. This place had self check in which was cool. The rooms are definitely on the small side but our room came with one of those beds that can incline so you can sit up so that was a fun experience. Our shower door doesn't close all the way and keeps sliding open slowly which causes a bit of a mess in the bathroom. Other than that the room is not too shabby.

I was quite surprised by the size of the room at YOTEL New York Times Square, as it was the smallest I’ve ever encountered in my extensive travels. I believe guests would greatly benefit if the rooms were designed to be more spacious. Additionally, the cleanliness could be improved. On another note, the booking information mentioned valet parking, which wasn’t available. It would be helpful for future guests if the hotel could ensure accurate details on their booking platform. Even Motel 6 is better

Overall stay was...eh. The front entrance staff is friendly and helpful with checking in/out any questions I had. The rooms are DIRTY. Not disgusting with roaches and trash kinda dirty but stains, hair, grime in shower kinda dirty. I feel like this hotel has great potential but whoever is cleaning the rooms is lacking..could be management overworking them, short staff w/e but still do better. My view was nice as I got a queen corner room and the location felt pretty safe. Its in an overall good location being close enough to the busy parts of Manhattan but far away enough to get some sleep. Biggest concern was the cleanliness of the rooms. No freebies or extras here unless you pay but I mean..its NYC so this wasnt a surprise. If you choose to come here bring lysol wipes and a sheet to put over your bed to sleep on.

The rooms are modern, the bed was comfortable. Water pressure was amazing- so rare in hotels. We were traveling with our niece, and the bunk bed above can look into the shower. The line for check in seemed to take forever, however, after reading some articles about hotel check in process, I can see why. The coffee is super good- loved it! The bar- not so much. Just a heads up, last call in the hotel does not mean last call to get a drink, it means no drinks are being served.🤷 Summary- stay at the hotel. It's a great location, and overall the staff was friendly.

The rooms were clean with a good view of the city. The bed was comfortable. The hot water in the shower was barely hot. It’s advertised to be a non smoking hotel but we could smell someone smoking in their room. The bar and restaurant’s breakfast choices were good.

Stayed here for 5 nights in November. Everything was better than I expected. First day we were greeted and got help from the guys that manage the entrance level lobby. Easy self check in on computer screen(first time I did this at a hotel). Once check in you proceed to the second floor lobby which is nice, because it's more secure(no stragglers off the street will be allowed in, and nice for working environment.) The hotel is very modernized, clean, and awsome amenities like access to rooftop, gym, and the have show performance every weekend. Honestly probably the nicest, most convenient, prime location( blocks away from time square) hotel I've ever got. Worth the 200 a night.

Good location, small but perfect for work related travel. The upkeep is decent. My only complaint is that some of the other guests decided to smoke in the stairway (cigarettes and cannabis). Some of my fellow co-workers were on different floors and could smell it too. Staff was informed but this was a nightly occurrence over a span of 4 nights.

Great value for the money. The rooms are small but very clean and modern. We had a small window with an amazing view. Housekeeping cleans thoroughly every day. Great location. The only issue we had was that the bathroom is kind of right in the room with glass doors, so there's no privacy. For 2 out of the 4 days, we barely had hot water. It sounds a bit challenging, but I'm still happy with the hotel choice

Mixed Experience, Disappointing Service ⭐️⭐️ Our stay at this hotel had both highs and lows. The central location was convenient, and the bed and pillows provided a comfortable sleep. However, our experience was marred by several issues. The shower temperature fluctuated drastically, from scalding to freezing. Despite reporting this to the front desk, the promised technician never arrived. Witnessing a person covered in blood in the elevator was deeply distressing, and the hotel staff's prompt response to clean was appreciated, though the cause remains unknown. The restaurant offered delicious food, a highlight amidst challenges. Unfortunately, the pervasive mujanana odor on our floor, despite reporting it multiple times, persisted until our departure. Security, promised for a review, was never seen. Compounding our frustrations, the TVs on floor 15 was non-functional, and after multiple assurances, we were informed that the floor had known issues. The inconvenience of moving rooms added to an already stressful experience. In summary, a central location and comfortable amenities are overshadowed by inadequate problem resolution and a distressing incident. Management needs to address these issues promptly for a more positive guest experience.

I stayed here in October. We stayed in a room with a Queen bed and a bunk bed. The room was much smaller than the pictures made it seem. The bathroom had no ventilation and smelled like pee and B.O. the entire time. There was black gunk along the trim in the shower. You are given a flat sheet and a thin cotton blanket to sleep with. It is not soft. The coffee was good. Couldn't beat the location. I would find somewhere better next time.

Falling apart stuff everywhere. My rooms tap was leaking to the table top / floor and it was not much, they checked and said it was ok because no other rooms were available e they had no spare parts. Main door was broken the whole stay, probably long before and still as that. There was hair from previous guests around... Hair dryer was not working. I just decided to not use it. Half of the days they forgot to leave new cups for me. For the price, it should be a bit better. Next time, new hotel.

Honestly completely overpriced it’s ridiculous. There are so many better options with actual nice rooms for the same price and cheaper. They misinformed us about parking when we emailed a week ahead to make sure there was space. Then they gave us the wrong room type than what I booked and couldn’t change it until a day later. The rooms are TINY, the window of the “skyline view” room is smaller than the windows in my house. The rooms are not well maintained, the walls are dirty and there isn’t even a fridge. So if you want to pay an arm and a leg for a room in worse condition than Days Inn then this is the place.

Modern hotel. Self check in kiosks. Room smaller than average but well laid out. Comfortable queen bed. Small desk - no fridge or microwave. Convenient to Times Square area. Valet parking garage available underneath. Quiet the night I stayed.

Location was great and staff were very friendly. The rooms were a bit overpriced for what they had. The bathroom had dirty showers and the glass door was not working. The outlets were not working, only one light was working, tv didn’t have much channels, and we noticed some weird stains on the bedding which was obvious they didn’t wash them. The pull out couch had very WEIRD stains as well so I had to put blankets so my kids didn’t touch them. Other than that the view was excellent, being close to TS was very nice as well and close to restaurants.

It started out a bit unsettling. We dropped off luggage at 11am $2 each piece (most other hotels don't charge), no problem though as I knew they did in advance. We were told to return at 2 pm that room might be available. So we return at 1:50pm and was told 2pm again so we waited. As we sat, a couple came to check in (at 1:58) they were told to go to front desk, so I followed. They were issued a room. When I said I was checking in, I was told to come back at 3 pm that they didn't have rooms ready. So I sat back down and watch the person in line after me not be turned down. I got up to watch them issue her a room and I interrupted to ask how the person in front of me and behind me in line got a room. I was told she could check for me now!! Why now?! What happened when I was in line. She never asked my name or got my ID, so she didn't know what kind of room I was in. It was the rudest thing I've experienced in hotel check in! There was another front desk woman next to her doing something on the laptop but not checking anyone in. She told me I would be helped next. For the trouble I was given an "upgrade", I'm guessing room with view on higher level. But same size room as I reserved. I refuse to let this ruin though. The following morning at 7 am there was a guest walking the floor talking on her cell phone, on speaker laughing, talking loudly.....who does that?...... leaves their room to walk up and down the hall to have a loud conversation for 40 minutes?!

Great hotel when you want to stay at times square. Room was clean, everything you need was there, check in is very easy. The coffee machine didn't work, but can also grab a coffee at the cafeteria there. Friendly staff! The luggage store was already full when I left, but there's a luggage store close to the hotel, not too expensive.

Stayed at this place twice pre & post COVID. They have the worst staff and can’t help after 5 which is when you need them sometimes cause you are traveling for work. Small rooms with limited space to even unpack for 2. The terrace is a nice addition but it’s completely separate from the room so can’t even charge it to there. Shower pressure is the great though but the bathroom is like small and not separated from bedroom.

We had a good stay here. When we first got there we didn’t get a clean room but the person in the front got that cleared right away and we got a better room. We went to the rooftop lounge, Danla, was a great host. She was patient and friendly to everyone. She politely asked for our vaccine card and ids and gave a nice seat at the bar. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend.

Friendly staff, breakfast with good price and nice options. The room was super clean and with good space. Also, there was frequently, a staff member cleaning the lifts and common areas to avoid covid. Definitely would come back :)

Excellent hotel with a nice room at a nice price. I've stayed at Yotel in Amsterdam a few times, but this was my first time here. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I love the powered recline on the bed; I could adjust it to the perfect position. Excellent views from the room. At 45 I feel like I'm the oldest person here. The hotel has a young and hip vibe about it. It's kind of quirky and I like that about it. It only 8 blocks from Penn Station, so it's an easy walk.

We booked the JR terrace suite only to find out that the hot tubs are just empty tubs. Siting that cost of operating during covid was too high! It is a suite and the rates are not low.

The hotel had nice amenities and very fast wifi which I appreciated, however the room I stayed in had some damage and the blanket I was given looked like it had been chewed up , a lot of the things to do were closed even the water and ice on each level weren’t available . We couldn’t even check in alone which was one of the things we were looking forward to experiencing .

This was my first time staying in a hotel in Manhattan (at a hotel that I booked myself) and I'm glad I stayed with Yotel. The style of the hotel was fresh and modern. The extra amenities like the tech vending machines and the kiosk check-in made Yotel feel high tech and current. The staff was awesome! My partner and I got to check in a bit early and the room was very clean with an awesome view! We were having some issues with the AC unit but the staff was quick to sort it out. The room was just the right size. The bed was comfortable and the rainfall shower was a nice touch. Housekeeping was awesome too! I didn't get a chance to check out the rooftop bar/lounge, but it seemed really cool (and was pretty lively by friday night). Some amenities were unavailable due to the hotel following pandemic safety procedures (e.g. the ice machine and gym were shut down) but that wasn't a dealbreaker. The location was perfect! Port Authority is only a few blocks away and there was a CVS right across the street and a Target close by as well. Overall, Yotel helped make my trip back to the city an amazing one! 10/10 would recommend.

Overall, I had a great experience staying at YOTEL. Although the rooms are small, they are nicely furnished and modern. Room was clean and well maintained. Great location. Zero complaints. I didn't spend a lot of time in my room anyway -- I mean -- it's New York City!

Just what you need. The cabins are perfect for solo travelers, though showing some wear and tear. There is ample storage in the rooms and the views are quite nice. I stayed here on a work trip and would spend my own money if I were to visit again. Would recommend.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any stay. They compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down. Mission control gave us a warm welcome and they accommodated us without a problem. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Terrible customer service , have been trying to get in contact with them about a charge to my card after I checked out and not getting a refund back for the security deposit even tho it’s been over the time period. They keep directing me to mission control who has never answered the phone once. I was also told that a manager would be in contact with me about the random charge and I have heard nothing back in over a week. Go to citizenM it’s better

Fantastic hotel, close to all the sight-seeing locations as well as transit to get around. This is a quirky, tech savvy hotel. The rooms are small, but it's NYC, not surprised! The only thing is the shower/toilet are in a glass area vs having a door. So privacy isn't isn't thing if you've got a roomie. Breakfast was delicious here and the spaces are fun, unique and comfy!

The hotel is clean and the rooms are good. However, the ice machines are not working, and if you need anything, it's a problem. I did not receive a receipt at checkout, it was t be emailed within 24 hours. I need it for reimbursement. I have been emailing to request a receipt, with no results after a week. for 3 days I have been calling day and night, no one answers the call after the automated attendant transfers it to "a person". The call seems to ring for 1 minute then disconnects. The after stay experience flipped this from a 4 star to 2 star rating.

After reading the reviews I must admit I was skeptical, 1) not which familiar with the area 2) would the images live to expectation. I’m happy and very pleased to inform they did, what I saw is what I got, we booked a queen bed room, which was the perfect size, everything was clean and house keeping was fine. I found a great deal booking directly with them instead of a 3rd party so check your options. We didn’t need much interaction with staff, we were in and out as pleased, this location is a few blocks from great bars, restaurants and Times Square! Please keep in mind, we booked for 2, any more you’ll be crowded in that room. Also, please read fine print for the additional fees, so your not surprised later. If you’re looking for a sign to book this hotel, this is it.

Clean, cozy room with a comfortable bed and high water pressure in the shower. The room was small but if you’re in New York to explore the city, that’s all you need really. Location is great, from time square you can take subway anywhere. We arrived in New York very early morning but we paid $50 for early check-in which is super convenient. The only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t let us leave our bags before our flight. It’s a big hotel. I’m sure they can make some space if they wanted to. Anyways, for the price I paid, considering location, it was definitely a pleasant experience.

Clean and efficient, I would stay again. Similar vibe to a hostel, without the shared rooms. First room AC did not work, 3pm, notified staff and went out. Came back about midnight, asked for fix again, after 30 minute wait for fix, no arguments, but I had to ask staff for a different room. Staff indicated they could hold bags for later departure, turned out to not be so. As hotels go, this would be a 3-3.5 star place. Clean and VERY efficient room. Staff were always cheerful. The restaurant was quite nice and relaxed for morning breakfast! Convenient to Time Square.

This place could have been 5 star. I knew going into it that the rooms would be more European and less spacious. Not a concern. However, the bed wasn't functioning, the towel warmer wasn't working, and the TV hdmi was unplugged so all we got was the hotel info channel. The location was great and the other amenities were nice.

This was a very cute hotel. Small in size but just enough room for two people. The best part of the hotel was the service. Moses who works at the hotel was so amazing in helping to get us a cab and storing our luggage. Not only was he helpful and caring but extremely friendly. We will be staying at this hotel again because of his great service and cleanliness of hotel.

The customer service was extremely good. Everyone was great and super professional. I wanted to give this review four stars. The room was okay. There were burn marks on the table and marks on the wall with many dings and marks on the furniture. The person downstairs at the automated check out was the best. He made sure to talk to everyone as they were leaving to see if they needed anything before they go and went out of his way to get me taxi. Wanted to make sure I got to where I was going as fast as possible. Dispite the room, because of the customer service and the man helping me at checkout, I'll definitely come back to stay her or at other locations.

Good location Friendly welcome Room with outdated decor and poorly maintained. WC and shower inside the room without door. Decent cleanliness but smell of urine in my room (room 1421). I had to keep the window open. Too expensive for what it it (400$ US per night) They charge 2$ CASH only for luggage storage… Why? I do not recommend this hotel.

Have to squash a few comments in here. Someone said there's a camera in the room, it's a light sensor.... The rooms were clean and the shower was the best shower of the trip. The rooms are very small but you should know that when booking. Only downside is if you share with someone that is not your partner the bathrooms can be a bit revealing.

This hotel was terrible for its price point. The shower was dirty with stains and boogers on the wall. The bed frames were peeling and old with dead skin in the edges. Their walls were damaged on every corner. It just felt dirty and uncomfortable during our entire stay. Additionally, we asked if we can check out at 12PM since it said it was complimentary and the front desk person said yes but didn’t note what room we were in (even though I told her). The day we checked out, housekeeping knocked on our door to let us know check out was at 11AM. I had to go down to the front desk again to let them know so we wouldn’t get hit with unexpected fees. I do not recommend this spot as it was 400 a night and parking was 50 bucks per day. Stay somewhere else to protect your sanity and wallet.
