I love food Bazaar but I have to write this review with huge disappointment how things have changed. I was there recently to do grocery shopping and whenever I go there, I spent minimum of $200-$300 per visit, which means I have lots and lots of items. And as usual there are lines in cashier. I have 3-4 bags to put in my items I purchased and cashier doesn’t even help bag these items like they used to and there are other worker who just stands near the cashier and look at me but won’t even help bag single item. I know they changed that since pandemic but seriously now u guys just stopped bagging the items??? Even a smaller grocery places help bag everything. This not only holds the line for other customers but also rushes me to bag everything put things unevenly. I really really want cashiers to help to put things to shopping bag rather than just stand there just staring at me rushing to put things in bag. Atleast help the customers. This is very disappointing for customers who shops a lot and still get no help at all. If the owner is reading my review; please please make the change; wishing with a great hope🙏🏼

If you are in the Queens area and need to go food shopping to a supermarket that is extremely diverse you can definitely shop here. As a previous instacart shopper I can say that I have pretty much visited every supermarket in Queens and this Food Bazaar is the most complete market you would find. Their selection of fruits, vegetables, legumes, traditional groceries, deli, bakery, butcher shop, produce along with many international items is massive, they offer free indoor & outdoor parking and they are open 24 hours. Quality is a priority for me and my family and they do offer the best. If you become a loyal member and download their app you can accumulate points (earn 100 points on every $1 spent) which you can later turn into $ discounts when you shop. They also have a small food court inside the market in case you need to grab a coffee or a bite before or after shopping.

I have never felt this way before and the sensation is bizarre. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm a dude in his thirties and what excites me has changed, but this is an amazing supermarket! I just want to call out the mind boggling selection of brands and products from all over the world. Section Highlights: Butcher: The quality of the meat is excellent and other Queens supermarkets don't even touch it. It is good fresh and frozen and I have not had any issues in the kitchen with the quality of their chicken, beef, pork or sausage. They really take care to carve the meat properly on their house cuts and they have a wide selection of large entire cuts (whole 10+ lb tenderloin eg) as well. International: The international section of this Food Bazaar is so big, it could be its own international products supermarket. THEY HAVE AN ENTIRE AISLE FOR ARGENTINA AND BRAZIL. I am Argentine-American and there are not a lot of us and it makes me feel seen. But really, they have so many countries it's amazing. Lots Japanese and Korean snacks and products!

Well, it did have a lot of interesting, fruits and vegetables that I don’t normally see. It was definitely an older what felt like a dirty store. It had a very strange odor lake, sewer/fish . Three employees that we passed by were on their phones leaning on product . it was very interesting to see that especially since there was so much that needed to be done. When we left the building, the security guard didn’t even notice us. He was on his phone.

This is the greatest food market in nyc. You can find everything you want here, do you want Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Colombian, Mexican, Peruvian, Russian? They have it on the store. Great variety of beer, vegetables, condiments.

Nice selection of fresh produce including some good sale items. Although I wasn't shopping for meat, today, the offered choices (pork chops, ribs, steak, stew meat, ground beef, etc.) looked really good. Most of the better deals were on "family size" packages so, if that's what you're in the market for, look no further. The bakery had some yummy-looking cakes and fresh baked bread and, of course, the selection at the dairy department was more than adequate. All in all, if you were looking to stock up and/or shop for a family get-together, you'd probably find what you were looking for here. Some prices were higher than what you'd see elsewhere but the convenience of getting most of your shopping done in one place (AND the fact that there's a parking lot) might make it worth a little extra.

The store was clean, and there were a variety of products from East and West, so it was good for one-stop shopping.

I was a frequent shopper at this location and I would say 99% of the time I would recommend it. Its only the 1% time that you are stopped from leaving the store and accused of shop lifting unless you accept to being searched that made me never want to return. I understand that stores are insisting that shop lifting is on the rise, but when I go into a store to shop, I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal. The security guard used his gut feeling to profile me and stop me. I asked if someone accused me or if he saw me on video and he didn't respond. Eventually I opened up my bag and shoved it in his face to let him know all I had in it was my headphones and my oatmeal container i use for lunch, but I'm not going to make it easy on him or the store. IF YOU WANT TO TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE CRIMINALS THEN WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CALL YOU OUT ON IT AND SHOP SOMEWHERE THAT TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS WELL.

I unfairly overlooked this place for years because the Pathmark that used to be here was awful. But, with the nearby Stop & Shop closing, decided to give them a try. Absolutely loved it!! Great selection overall - amazing produce, meat, and cheeses. Lots of good frozen options as well as packaged goods, and an awesome variety of foods for many different cultures. All really reasonably priced, too. This is definitely going to be my main grocery spot going forward.

This place is AMAZING. They have everything and all produce is fresh. meat, fish cheeses and gourmet items, then a massive grocery store with pretty much anything you can think of plus 1000 more rings. Clean and well organized. There is nothing you can’t find here. They also have a parking lot which is appreciated. The prices are similar to other stores in Astoria (high). But seriously the inventory and selection of things is unmatched in this area.

This review is for the sandwiches only and not the actual supermarket. The sandwiches at this supermarket are as good as they get in NYC. Not only are the sandwiches well-made and delicious but they are affordable. All sandwiches are made fresh right before you.

Most people think it's easy to present products that are well rotated across a vast area of different perishables. And maintaining an international selection of quality items. Takes alot of effort! Great work!

When I'm in NY, I go to Food Bazaar with my daughter. They have a huge variety of international foods & products. The produce is beautiful & fresh. The aisles are not wide enough. Other than that, they have a lot to offer each shopper.

Good to know this supermarket is open 24/7 and easily accessible. There is plenty parking and security. The staff is friendly and they have a bathroom which is important when shopping in NYC.

Food Bazaar is an exceptional grocery destination offering a vast array of options that delightfully cater to an international palate. With aisles thoughtfully organized by country, shopping here is like a culinary tour around the world. The selection is both diverse and authentic, making it easy to find everything from staple ingredients to exotic specialties. I highly recommend Food Bazaar for a unique and satisfying shopping experience that brings the flavors of the globe to your kitchen.

This is a good store. They are nice and I really like when they used to play music from the 1950s and 1960s like Elvis . they are also very helpful, they helped me because I accidentally threw my house keys in their garbage after I was in the food court(which is nice I always go to the food court) and they helped me find it. They have the best groceries. I’m happy I can buy international food and always get something interesting in food bazaar.

Hi here's a 2 star review for this store because 1. I do love the store because 24/7 2. It is a great place to shop for everything But Out of nowhere today, I was about to shop for some items and the security told me give them the bag because they think I was going to shoplift. Even though I do not want to do that because I'm Christian and I respect God's order. Whoever was that security, please do not take My fckin bag or anyone's bag to prevent the person from shoplifting. I haven't had this happen since the first time this store open and Me and my parents started shopping here. Please do not do that again because one we only have items that is ours and two we Don't use it for shoplifting and finally we don't want to shop in your store if you keep acting like that, okay. Food bazaar, you were not like this a few days ago or weeks ago or months ago. Please fix your security, Thanks!!!

This food bazaar is huge. Compared to the one that closed on 34 th Avenue and 95st this supermarket is a giant. In addition to Hispanic food it carries Asian food. Prices are different story so beware as there might be better prices at other supermarkets.

Great place to go for cuisines of all nationalities. You can find almost everything in this wonderful store. You won't be sorry! Go visit your neighborhood FOOD BAZAAR! YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

This place can't be beat when it comes to its international and ethnic stock. The isles in the international section of the store are arranged by country. Also, they have a decent selection of vegan/plant-based items in varies areas of the store and it seems as tho I'm seeing more and more vegan selections each time I go in... which is a huge plus in my book. (I have a few items in keeping an eye out for). The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful so, if you don't see what you're looking ask because it's a large store. Another major bonus is the underground parking.... it's a lifesaver in the winter months or if it's raining.

This store blew me away compared to the local neighborhood shopping options. The size is far larger than other local groceries and they offer a massive variety of produce, meats, seafood, and ethnic foods. You can find specialty Japanese snacks, Korean mushrooms, Indian specialties, etc; all under one roof. The prices are competitive and weekly discounts are a good program. (fun fact: this is the store where they shot the movie Second Act)

I go to food bazaar almost every two weeks, and it is very good place for fresh food. These meat and seafood are pretty decent concerned the great pricing.

Only one service representative at the customer service desk. The customer service desk is always busy (during my visits) with customer returns (for whatever reason). Waiting time is around 10-15 minutes per customer. Visited there three times to do a 30 second transaction. Frustrating. Overall, the store is Great. Lots of courteous, efficient cashiers. Wide selection of national and international products. Fresh produce. Great meat and fish department. Ample parking, both underground and street level. I totally recommend.

Very good store. As someone who is visiting NYC for a couple weeks this place was so much cheaper for items and had EVERYTHING!!! Also huge plus was the amazing Asian/Korean food sections and all the free parking! Plus if you're hungry they even have a food court inside.

Tons of super delicious Korean food, some that I haven seen since I left Korea. Got some veggies and everything looked pretty good, pretty wide assortment. I also grabbed from the food court before I left, a little pricey for grocery sushi but delicious. The Korean prepared side dish section wasn’t open when I went, hopefully they were just cleaning it or something, I asked a few workers but they weren’t sure.

Food Bazaar is a great supermarket. I go there all the time. I don't live near it but sometimes I'm so busy I can't go shopping during the day. Food Bazaar is open 24 hours a day. I go there at 2 AM sometimes. They have a great selection of groceries, meats and vegetables. I always find what I'm looking for there.

  • 5/5 Keisha W. 8 months ago on Google
They are always well stocked. I love shopping here. The meats are always fresh and so are the veggies. They also have a different variety of culture foods. Great staff. You can get it all from this supermarket. Prices are very reasonable.

First time there....last time there. It's fantastic with all the BIG sizes of products...if you have the storage space. Prices are a bit steep compared to my neighborhood supermarket. But the one thing that turned me off...is I asked if they had a civil service discount...at first I was told NO...then I was told only Monday to Friday.....then I was told yes but I had to show ID..I did had my Federal ID and was told they don't honor a US Postal Service ID so I showed them my Veterans ID and again I was told NO......Really ?? All the other Supermarkets I go to honor both and I get 10% off.....Won't be going back there again. Hope Corporate reads this and they change their policy...or do they think Cops and Firefighters are the ONLY "Essential" Blue Collar workers putting their lives on the line to keep this City....No Country running and safe. Food Bazaar can keep it's 🐂💩

Great international supermarket with a fantastic variety of foods, fresh produce, fish, and meats. A bit crowded, not everything is as affordable as it should be. But there is free parking. It's definitely an overall good experience.

  • 4/5 Kimberly M. 5 months ago on Google
Selections of food...from literally ANYWHERE in the world...abundantly available. Open 24 hrs/day, 7 days/wk, 365 days/yr. And, as a member, you earn discounts as you spend!! Customer service, especially Peter in the Korean foods aisle, is top notch! Helpful and always a kind word and friendly smile to share!! Great way to build customer loyalty! Prices are 4/5 stars. Could be more affordable, but what they lack in "bang for your buck" is definitely balanced by product selection and customer service.

  • 5/5 Pam W. 1 year ago on Google
Very spacious with very good quality of meat and seafood. I forgot to mention, the bakery hands down the best. I buy 2 to 3 cake a year. Next wk I buying my daughter cake for her 3rd birthday party.

  • 5/5 Albert K. 1 year ago on Google
The store is by no means "so-so". Great selection of product across all regions with prices average to great for NYC. Cashiers could use some motivation for better customer experience. The fact that they care about their rating changed my opinion of the store.

  • 1/5 Al H. 11 months ago on Google
Very bad customer service.. This supermarket has a weird energy late at night. Some cashiers don’t wanna work 1out of 3 is open.. they lie when they scan your points .. also too expensive and Korean products are overpriced.. Bananas and fruits here are soso.. It’s better if you go to the fruits guys they have better price better quality.. example:avocados 4/$5 Hundreds of items are marked up way too much.. Shop smart don’t waste your money Shop only when that have sale They don’t answer emails in case of a problem or complain.. God bless Costco..Trade Fair

The store is well stocked I went on Memorial Day they had what I was looking for which is good only thing I am upset about if you need some help hope you speak Spanish bc they really are horrible with understanding and speaking English so communicating with someone in there was totally frustrating that’s the only downfall I can say if I would of known that I’d would of give to another stop and shop

Fery large supermarket well stocked with regular and international products. Just came for some convenience goods while in the neighborhood. Goods rank on the pricier side but everything looks fresh.

  • 5/5 Corey P. 11 months ago on Google
This store is absolutely massive and has excellent selections. The meat and seafood departments are probably the best in the neighborhood. We love getting great cuts of beef and pork here, and it's the only place I trust for thin sliced rib eye. Friendly and helpful staff!

  • 5/5 Ian 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely massive supermarket. Probably going to go here from now on now that Stop & Shop is gone and I haven't heard good things about the new H-Mart. Only thing is the shopping carts lock before you actually reach the edge of the parking lot, which makes it annoying if you're stuck parking far away from the door.

  • 5/5 David M. 11 months ago on Google
Great value. Great quality and fresh ingredients. Highlights are produce, seafood, meat, and international seasonings. They even have dry aged steaks. When I went the dry aged strip was 16.99 a lb. Which less than regular steak at like whole foods That's crazy. Also they have good prices on large spice containers.

I absolutely LOVE this store. We actually started shopping at a new store closer to where we live but it just didn't compare to Food Bazaar. My only complaint (and it's a VERY recent one) is that two weeks in a row, we bought chicken and some in the package were good and some weren't. I don't know what's up with that, but we're going to start buying organic chicken again and see if the same problem happens. Other than that, like I said, it's a really great supermarket.

Honestly tired of the attitudes and unprofessionalism of the cashiers & managers. I spend way too much of my time and money at this place to be treated the way that I do. The last visit, groceries costed $500+. The cashier is behaving like I’m inconveniencing HER. This time, an item was marked at sale price with the yellow banner at 11.99 and rang up 20.99. The cashier sent someone to do a price check, the extremely rude lady comes back with a picture of a price tag all the way on the back of the shelf and stated customers moved the item over. When I asked her to walk back with me so I can show her, all of the items are marked down at 11.99 and she refused to adjust the price. Fine, beggars can’t be choosy! Even though it is wrong I did not have the energy to go back and forth over $9. I’m checking out and bagging my items, and the same person who did the price check is talking about me to another employee!! Loud enough for me to hear her. I do not deserve to have an experience like that, especially on numerous occasions. Let alone any other customer. Do better

It's horrible customer service. My reward does not get through the system, and they kept saying just wait 20 min. no matter what, otherwise the reward will be gone. They said Wait 20 min or lost your reward. I've never seen the customer service and stupid system. They have to learn what customer service is.
