I would visit there twice if it wasn't for the rude and slow service. We ordered a acai cup and a smoothie and we waited for 20 minutes. We asked for the wifi and they didn't tell us even though there is wifi for guests. But the food was AMAZING, tasty and filling. It's a great place for breakfast.

I had high hopes for this place since I’m and avid health and fitness guy but ended up with a pretty terrible experience. Around 1:30pm, we ordered the “Green Smoothie” while it was not busy at all. One other couple ordered before us. There was 5 staff. We waited about 15 minutes and noticed no one was making our drink. The workers didn’t seem to pay attention to the customers or notice things were slow. One of them was drinking coffee in the middle of her shift and a few of them were just chatting. I asked the worker if our drink was being made. She said “yes, it’s being made now by someone, thank you for being patient.” It was odd because a few minutes after she said that she went back and started to make it. While it was being made, the guy who took our order asked us what drink we ordered which showed there seemed to be some confusion. By the end of it seemed like they forgot to make our order and no one apologized or took ownership of the mistake. We finally got our smoothie and it tasted way too earthy. It tasted like way too much spinach was put in. I make smoothies almost every other day and this tasted awful. We had to throw it out. This experience was not worth the wait and the $12+ spent. I read other reviews and it sounds like this place being slow happens often. I would give the place a second chance regardless of our first experience. Maybe someone was new? Maybe someone wasn’t trained well? Anyways, go at your own risk but I hope your experience is better. If you are the owner or manager reading this please take this as positive criticism. Starting a business is extremely hard and I want you to succeed. Read all the negative reviews and see what you can do better to improve and disregard all the nonsense. Take care.

Terrible experience. I made a custom açaí bowl as directed by the cashier said it would be best with what I wanted on it. it ended up being $23. After I had ordered and was looking at the menu, there was one bowl that was almost identical to the one I customized with just one difference in the drizzle that I could have easily substituted which was only 14.95. You would think they would let me know being I paid an extra $8 for the same thing. Also, they gave me a quarter of a banana and not even a handful of blueberries and maybe a teaspoon of peanut butter that I paid an extra $2 to have. What a joke and a rip off.

Absolutely love Loco Coco. My go to is the yellow smoothie but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Every ingredient is super fresh, organic and vegan. The açaí bowls are great and they have a lot of dragonfruit flavored bowls as well. Any topping you could want and superfood add ins! There is a gluten free option for the granola as well. They have to-go snacks and vegan yogurt as well. Free delivery if you order directly through their website. Highly recommend!

I went there to try a new thing because it was very different and unique concept. My friend and I order dragon fruit base with pineapple as our bowl (it cost extra to have freshly cut pineapple as bowl). The staffs is so nice and friendly. We also happen to met the owners, they are so nice and asked question how do we heard from this place. The owner was so nice to us and told us if we wanted extra granola on side and it was no extra charge. Since the place is small, so it can get crowed when it get busy. It's took awhile to get out fruits bowl but it was so worth the waiting because the fruit was so delicious.

I ordered the pitaya bowl. It wasn't bad, but I felt that it needed more granola and more toppings; the proportions were off, and it ended up tasting a little bland. For $15, it was for sure overpriced and I feel you can find better quality for a lower price.

I have been a weekly customer for months and I can honestly say Loco Coco has the best bowls and smoothies in the area. Highly recommend the Nut Butter and Loco Bowl as well as the Booster Bowl. They have a great assortment of superfood additions as well. Shoutout specifically to KAI who works here… excellent service, super thoughtful and great to connect with. Rest of the team is awesome and make this spot that much better!

Awesome spot for acai bowls. During the lunch rush you can wait up to 30 minutes per order so it's recommend ordering ahead of time. Delicious acai fruit bowls!!

I hadn't noticed this place was in the neighborhood until recently, and readily became pretty infatuated with it. The options feel endless, and the ingredients are great (I usually go with something like mango, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, granola and chia seeds). The ordering process is very, eh, modernized. You order at a tablet which sort of precludes the necessity of speaking with the staff - and somewhat makes me feel like I'm placing an order for my soylent green tablets) but the staff have all been very friendly in my experience should you choose to be annoying like me and talk to them anyway.

Açaí bowls are decent. However, they’re not worth the price (13.95 + tax for the purple rain bowl with an additional charge for a super light drizzle of peanut or almond butter). Employees also take forever making an order when there’s barely any people in store and aren’t aware of discounts students are entitled to. You’re better off going elsewhere.

I've been to this place a few times and gotten the acai bowl, the white smoothie with granola (should be eaten with a spoon), and a soft serve. The food is good. Lots of sugar, no spinach to add to smoothie. It takes FOREVER. Every single time I go, it takes more than 20 minutes to get the food. Twice, a person working apologized to everyone for the wait.

Close quarters inside,a little bit of a wait, but definitely worth it. Smoothies are pricey, but ingredients seem very fresh. I got the Blue Smoothie and it was delicious, would definitely go back and treat myself!😁

I just had the best smoothie I think N.Y.C. has to offer. Packed with superfoods and the consistency is nice and thick! Essence was so kind and made my smoothie with so much care. Will be back for sure!

This is a really cute and cozy place and i always get the purple rain bowl and it’s amazing The only things i would change is that less people came here because i need this bowl 24/7!!!!!! Also i wish they had chairs but i understand why they don’t because its always crowded

The purple rain is quite delicious even with the $2 chocolate hazelnut drizzle. The fruits were very fresh and sweet and enjoyable to have with friends. I would recommend this place, however, the wait is quite long for the bowls! Enjoy!

I’m a very picky açaí eater because I’m from the Brazilian Amazon where açaí is from. But once they said “acai” I was sold HAHA. If you’re like me, go for the purple rain. You can’t go wrong.

I wanted to eat to this place because they says its 100% plant based, but it’s not ! In 3 bowls or smoothies there is honey. If you want to add honey, that’s ok but at least don’t use the words vegan or plant based

Well , first of all, Ayanh is an angel from Heaven. She makes the best bowls and she is so lovely. It’s not about the açaí , it’s about who serves it to you. 💕

bowls are super delicious. the OG Pitaya is one of my faves if you want a treat! I also like the nut butter loco acai bowl. The bowls are filling but they seem to lack in strawberries in terms of topping which I hate because that’s my favourite fruit. Even if you add it on, they add like 3 little slices of strawberry. Aside from that, it’s really good bowls being served here. Super thick! The granola that comes on top is yummy.

I had an easy time picking up my smoothie bowl order and my matcha drink. They both were super good with my allergies and I felt safe with what I ordered because they showed me how they used separate everything for my order. The staff was fun and professional and I appreciate it!

Loco Coco has become my favorite acai spot to go to! Their bowls are SO fresh with a variety of bases and fruits to choose from! The customer service is also super friendly and the bowls come out really quick! The portion sizes are AMAZING! This will definitely fill you up for the day!

Love all the goodies you get in the bowl! Around this neighborhood there are other acai and smoothie bowl places, but to be perfectly honest, they are so bland and boring. Loco Coco has all the stuff you want like fruit topping, either nuts or granola for crunch, and of course, nut butter drizzle. The bowls are super packed with flavour and totally took care of my acai bowl craving. It takes a few minutes for them to make it, so don’t expect to grab one quickly if you’re in a rush. Take 10 extra minutes out of your day and get one here! It’s super small with 2 seats inside, but 4 tables outside. Love!

I arrived at the restaurant at the time indicated for pickup (09/06 at 05:15 PM) to find out the restaurant had no water to make my meal. The order was not fulfilled or cancelled, so my $22 dinner has yet to be refunded due to their backwards refund process. I never received any communication that the order could not be fulfilled either. It has been almost 2 weeks since I reached out to customer service, who has indicated that refunds aren't processed until the restaurant confirms what I'm claiming. According to them, the restaurant won't answer their calls and there is no other way to get a refund. Caution ordering from this restaurant.
