Huge memorial wall and magnificent statues. Plenty of seating throughout the park. Nice views and sight lines from all corners.

Cadman Plaza is an exciting location based on the closeness to iconic Brooklyn places although it is under construction I am confident that it will look better than ever!

Nice and large park surrounded by many NY authority buildings. I was surprised they could build such a park within Brooklyn. I attended Walk to End ALZ here and enjoyed walking with my folks.

Such a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge. It's a shame crime is so high, the pollution and graffiti are back but this is what the previous administration achieved and what the current administration maintains. Although there are lots of parks, especially for dogs, it isn't safe. Plenty of picnic areas and places to go for free but just be on guard. It's a shame it is so downtrodden but it is what it is for now.

I like this place. It's by some busy roads in Brooklyn but has a lot of trees and space to walk around. It's also a nice resting spot if you finished walking the Brooklyn Bridge or to gather your wits before you cross back in to Manhattan. I also like the monument in place to the families of WW2, those who died and those who mourned. It isn't easy to park here but has close access to the A train.

Very large and nice park surrounded by the NY Supreme Court, Post Office, and other government offices. Nice place to have lunch or we saw a lot of mothers and nannies with small children.

This park is quiet most days so it’s always nice to take a walk around. Clean and spacious, the park is a good place to while away time and do people watching. The park is served by the High Street subway station (A and C trains). Visitors walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan and are looking for attractions in Brooklyn can add this to their itinerary.

I pass this place all the time after school when I walk to the bus stop. I only ever came here to draw stuff. Its a pleasant area I guess. Haven't really seen anything wild happen here. Though, I could be wrong- Sometimes, News12 or even Eyewitness News vans are parked in front of the entrance. Preschoolers often take feild trips here. There's a huge grassland spot at the park center where they have feild days, and of course you're welcome to have a picnic there. There's also this wall with two statues on each end-a good background to take pictures by.

We were impressed by this large park, especially the gigantic World War II Memorial that is at the center. Beautifully sculpted and definitely worth a trip to see this. There are several open spaces to for outdoor activity. However, when we went in late February 2024 there were several construction barriers around the park, making it difficult to walk around.

Nice place to sit outside, eat your lunch or just enjoy the fresh air. The farmers market is now out there, so you can purchase or just browse through the fruits, veggies, baked goods & other items they have for sale.

You can't help but to ENJOY this small piece of Brooklyn!! πŸ₯° I've been coming here since the 80's, and it always seems like this park has a certain noise damper that gives off a tranquil-calmness to make you loose all sense of time. I renamed this place, Guardians Park, because of the male statue holding a sword and looking over the children of all ages while you can relax. Still, the one statue of the little kid don't make sense to me, outside of grabbing what I would guess is his moms leg. If you're looking to chill-out or go on a first date, this is your place to be. Lol, no reservations or money down. 🀣 ❀️ Visit ___ be happy.

Attacked by a division of striped mosquitos in the middle of the day! Wear bug spray, just wait until the winter to return.

Disgusted by the "caged art" on display there. Don't know why it would be allowed to be installed there when it's so offensive

A real oasis for people tired of being indoors with the COVID crisis. A friend who lives in Manhattan walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and joined me here. I took a bus from where I liveβ€” near Grand Army Plaza– to meet her. We were able to social distance without any problem; the park was not overcrowded and everyone we met was courteous. The parks department maintains a set of VERY CLEAN restrooms under the monument at the bridge end of the park.
