Members only ? Wow . Nice staff at the door but after I told them I am not a member my request to get a juice was turned off! They have no problem selling me juice at the equinox on 54th in midtown , same set up with juice press inside . Honestly , I felt judged and discriminated against. Thanks juice press and E-quinox oh, I was explained this is done for security reasons! Are you attempting to protect me from those who work out at equinox or you are protecting them from us who only want their daily vsggie juice! Something is wrong here , fix it now! PS: go to 18th Street , a few blocks down the street and buy juice at juice generation!

Juice press should never come up on apple maps app in this location . People search it as the most convenient juicepress to grab a smoothie , i planned to do it before an important job with 10 min for that . Equinox does not allow you to do it as long as you are not a member , nowhere on the map is it shown when you search the place . Assuming that some business is advertised but you wont be served is something just way out of the ordinary to expect and triple check . I wish you ended your partnerships with equinox or insisted on walk ins if you have eny respect to your dedicated consumers and fans . I also was insulted by an equinox member who started to have a go at me saying I cant be there, even though i did not go to a cafe Thanks to other reviewer , for sharing that there is JUICE GENERATION down the block . It does not fix the mood and the energy after such horrible treatment at equinox , but it does feed you and the smoothie was delicious ! I used to post juicepress on instagram and tag you a lot, i love the concept and the quality , but my loyalty as a customer is damaged massively. If you choose to go that road that is subjuscting your big fans to such treatment, it only shows how much respect you have for them

Turning away customers who are willing to shell out $10+ for a beverage is bad business. Understand you consider yourself a "guest" of Equinox but after this morning's experience - where I was literally asked to leave in front of a dozen people because I'm not an Equinox member - I won't find myself a guest of Juice Press ever again.

Beware! Equinox ONLY members. Apparently this Equinox thinks they are too good to sell to non members unlike every other Equniox in the city. Juice Press should really re consider their agreement with Equinox and take this location off their search results.

The chocolate protein shake I ordered around 8:45PM on 02/27 gave me food poisoning. Which is tragic because I liked this JP. Please review your food safety procedures. Posting so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Only for Equinox members. If you just want juicepress - go away! Got a smoothie from juice generation a couple blocks down on 18th st and broadway. So delicious! love their peanut butter splits!

I'm really tired of traveling to juice press and there are no soups! It's winter time! And they don't post their phone number either so you can't call in at a location. This wastes customer time and is very upsetting at the same time. Way to go juice press!

Edit responding to owner: It may be an equinox decision but this has been going on for months as you can see from other reviews. The fact that you willingly stay in this location and defend its actions speaks a lot about how Juice Press views its customers. I know I stopped going to juice press daily after this and now maybe go twice a month tops. In addition I contacted Juice Press customer service only to be told how sorry they are and would get back to me (never did). Your response is a cop out and just passing the blame to someone else instead of trying to fix the problem of aggressive staff who try to physically intimidate random people. ---------------------- (Original review) If you enjoy being yelled at in public by staff that are the rudest in the city this is the place to go.

Same experience as comments below - walked in and staff yelled after me about checking me in. i was confused and said i was getting a juice. they refused me entry saying it was for customers only. if that's the case (which frankly seems ridiculous) there should be visible SIGNAGE stating so. just a bizarre and uncomfortable experience, esp since i've gone to the juice press at the equinox in soho without issue many times. bad business decision from juice press to agree to something like this, definitely soured me to their biz

At least Im not alone…. the location on 17th hadnt opened yet (after 10am) because as I learned later an employee just didnt show up this morning so I figured Id run up and grab a juice at the Broadway location I pass by all the time before - no big deal - a few blocks out of my way bur but dang it I wanted my $10 juice before work! - so needless to say I didnt think to check google maps whether it was “private” members only situation and learn in advance that Id be barked at from the desk with many people staring (not sure which side they were on but it was a scene of sorts) and I have to wonder how many times a day the front desk person has to do this! Ridiculous! Like others Ive done same at other Equinox locations in the past so I was doubly confused by this treatment. I do get maybe setting aside seating area for members but to not allow the public into a location that is in fact run by Juice Press - not Equinox employees just serving Juice Press as I confirmed while I was standing there somewhat stupefied - and right there retail level and asking for someone to walk in is distasteful at best…. And as long as this unfortunate arrangement continues maybe there should be a sign outside. Or put the desk at the very front so youre not already in the space being yelled at to leave. As it is is a turn off for sure. Doesnt make me want to spend my $ at either!

As others have noted got yelled at by staff for it being a members only juice press. I have been to other Equinox locations and been able to order. Probably should advertise this so it is clear to potential customers. Or a sign to direct everyone to the very friendly Juice Generation around the corner :)
